We loved our stay here. Some previous reviews were concerning, but when we arrived, we saw nothing mentioned in those reviews. Our room was spacious with a lot of natural light. It was clean. We loved the ambiance of the hotel as well as the rooftop pool and bar. We ate dinner in the restaurant and watched the sunset. The staff—at every point—was kind and helpful. Absolutely a wonderful experience

Dated and not great The spa was not included. The room smelled like drains. The hotel was very dated and not well looked after. The swimming pool was old.

Great I think it is the best Hotel hotel Livorno , Which station we can go directly by the car or just walk we can find a good restaurant nearby. I think we were choice. The hotel for next trip.

Stately hotel in a great location with very helpful staff. Some minor conditions that could be improved with the room (leaky shower door, no chair in the room).

Great place where to spend your holidays. Positives: great personnel from the reception to the pool bar and the dinner service. Special mention to Franco who has been serving my family magnificently and to Davide at the bar whose single macchiatos are unrivalled. Lots of green and always ventilated - even when it is very hot you hardly feel it. Rooms were comfy and well cleaned. Nice swimming pools...

The room was not very clean. The cleaning service had no fixed hours, so you could hear them cleaning from 7 to 16. No way to plan your stay during the day. The hotel was “new and nice” 10 years ago. Now it should have 2-3 stars instead of 4. Not up to the standard it thinks it is.

Nice hotel, room was spacious and clean although perhaps a little bit dated (a refurb would make it even better). Restaurant was great, I really did enjoy the food. Outdoor swimming pool was nice. Unfortunately the spa was closed because of the covid restrictions.

A very comfortable bed, the shower water pressure was weak, and water leaked all over the place. The receptionist was average. The location was convenient for catching a train. There's a huge coop nearby which was awesome. No kettle in the room which was annoying..

Hotel was clean and the rooms had everything you need for solo travel.

We checked in late and the restaurant was closed already, the kids were hungry. Thank you to the receptionist who offered us some biscuits . Recommendable hotel to stay.

Interesting hotel. It is in excellent technical condition - as if it were 1975 today. Everything here is in the style of the 70-80s of the last century. But everything is very clean and beautiful. Moreover, everything is stylistically very precise and fits together. Metlakh tiles on the floors, shutters on the windows, architecture and signs - all pure delight of already forgotten times. Clean hotel, very beautiful scenery on the water, and the staff and breakfast was great during our 1 day stay, wish we could have stayed longer.

Liked the hotel to take a room with sea view. It's nice to sleep with the window open to the sound of waves. Beach part of the hotel is limited to the shaft of the breakwater, and therefore there are no waves in the beach Bay where it was nice to swim. Breakfast on the upper terrace overlooking the sea - beautiful! But Breakfast buffet poor. Staff were change with the Russian-speaking girl. Parking...

Friendly staff, minimal english. Nice "beach" (paved area next to the water with umbrellas and beach chairs, color coded red: hotel guests and blue: everyone else) with snack/drink stand located at base of hotel. Clean minimalistic rooms with whirlpool showers (normal shower head, jets, and waterfall settings).

Parking can be an issue. Nice hidtoric facility with a view of the ocean. Walkable to shopping and dining.

Solo trip Hotel was in a great location with easy access to public transport, first night I arrived didnt get a nice welcome from the guy who was at the reception but the other ladies at the desk were smiling and welcoming in the following days. The room was clean and cleaned everyday from what i observe. I was disapppointed that the room did not have a kettle and tea bags, I had to ask to get a kettle...

The location was great . Walking distance to ferry terminal and 10 minute bus ride to station . Have stayed at the Grand Duca on 3 occasions and each time delighted with the view over the harbour .

Pleasant Stay at Hotel Gran Luca. This is the second time staying here. Our room was on the second floor and had a balcony we could go out on and eat, relax or people watch. Very enjoyable. Chairis was so pleasant and helpful at the front desk. No matter how many times we asked questions or directions, she answered them with a smile. Sending a shot from the front of the hotel at night.

We stayed here a couple of days before taking a train to Rome. Rooms were clean and we were right across from the port. Everything we needed we could walk to. Charis was so helpful at the front desk.

Decent hotel but only suitable for people travelling by car! You will not get here by foot, and the public transport is very bad - takes about an hour to Livorno with usually at least one bus change, and no service at all in the evening. In an industrial area next to a gas station and mcdonalds.

No wifi - Internet not working,the guy said nothing he can do. Only in the reception has internet. If you are tall the shower is small you can't bent. It only good for night rest if you need to sleep nothing else. Food I didn't have time to go and eat. So far the elevator is not that big. The room for 1 night is €75... but I can recommend for everyone to visit this place if you need a place to sleep

The bed was a bit small, but the location is in the city center, right next to a bus stop, so it’s convenient to get around. Overall, it’s pretty good for the price.

the location in the city is very central, the reception staff is kind and helpful, the room was clean, maybe a little small but spending only one night (three of us) it was great. "Italian" breakfast, with variety and abundance. The parking space (paid separately) is in an underground garage a stone's throw away. Narrow but single with a closed door. Overall everything is fine.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a short stay. There’s nothing overly luxurious or extravagant, but it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a straightforward, no-fuss accommodation.

Just the place needed to catch my cruise after flight issues. Simple place. Morning breakfast worth it. Area more locals than tourists.

A very lovely place to stay. The apartments are very spatious and clean. The domain is huge and well maintained. They offer all the necessary facilities. So it is just perfect to relax and enjoy a nice holiday.

What a fantastic place to stay. The grounds are beautiful with a little animal farm, which our 1 year old daughter loved. Special thanks to the staff who were all very welcoming, friendly and gave us tips and tricks on where to visit, making our stay even better. I don’t often want to revisit places, but here I would.

Nice place! Middle of nowhere (better have a car to get there), very nice forest near, cafes and shops - in 2-3km. Recommended to relax from people presence. Have a not heated swimming pool, football field, and big territory.

Great quite place for families.

A very nice place. Airport is nearby and planes are loud to hear but the rooms are very good and the pool is really great. The bistro is very good as well. If you don't mind the planes, I can recommend the place.

Simply wonderful place, excellent for those who want to spend some time in total relaxation and away from the hubbub of the city. Amazing terrace overlooking the sea, functional and well-kept apartments... super convenient internal parking and a small area reserved for training enthusiasts. The location is fantastic, certainly suggestive there are two splendid platforms with umbrella and 2 sunbeds, one very well ventilated, the other much less, certainly a place by the sea for a few well-off, the prices are equal to the customers who are looking for, few people refined customers, some exclusives are paid for, however a very nice place, not for everyone's pockets.

This is a great resort. We stayed in one of their mobile homes but there's spaces for rent camping, vans, motorhomes and campers. I have mobility limitations and they were great to work with but there's a lot of access however in order to get to the beach you will have stairs. I chose not to go down. But there's a lovely vista walk along the water and view points with benches.

This is such a wonderful place I will definitely return sometime in the future

A nicely tucked away camping site, with view over the sea as positioned on little cliff. Exit is directly on to busy main road, train can be heard in the distance when passing by. The sea view pitches have their own private balcony, equipped with table, chairs, sun loungers and sun umbrella. We visited in January, so can't advise on little super market or restaurant. Very nice camping. Staff is very welcoming and tents places are good and spacious. The beach is pretty close but is made out of rocks. For those who prefer sand, a mini-beach / tanning area has been built in the camping, which is very nice. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The showers are timed, which is not a bad idea, but the pauses are also timed, which seems silly provided how many showers...

Great water front location with park and street parking. Very helpful at front desk. Spoke english.They have parking but you need to ask 10eu per nite. Comfortable room but computer desk and bath had no plugs. Plugs only behind bed, refrigerator required me to run plug across floor.

Apartment in a very welcoming residence, close to the beach which is also very beautiful. Swimming pool with sushi and poké counter. 2 weeks stay at the top.

Nice renovated resort, but keeping the building as it was when it was built!! Beautiful swimming pool, efficient staff and reasonable prices!!! The food experience for the moment has not been satisfactory but we strongly trust in a future improvement ... A cocktail by the pool, listening to good music is highly recommended !!!!

A nice place with a beautiful pool. We were at a party with a buffet in the pool, the bathroom at night and the next evening dance.

A classic mansion successfully transformed to a hotel time has left its scares on the building but even that is greatly charming.Location is great the seaview is just the final touch. The restaurant is doing his part also very well. Good to be here. Regarding the basics cleanliness etc everything is as it should be.

This property was very conveniently located just a couple of hundred metres from the central train station, which was very handy for us doing day trips. It was immaculately clean with fresh linen daily and a great little balcony outside

It was nice and very clean. Bathroom was big. I think the breakfast was a little expensive--£20 for a couple. £12 would be more fair.

Close to train station/nothing to write home about If you need a hotel within walking distance to the the train station (Livorno centro is quite far from the station), Hotel Stazione is adequate. On the plus side: the hotel is clean and it is close to the station, if that is important to you. Very clean, close to the port Livorno. Friendly reception. We stayed one night, the air conditioner was automatically on, even if we turned it off after sometime was it on again, on by own. The room was too dark, and full with extra beds. There was a balcony but completely covered with wall. It was more likely a hole.

Small but very clean and comfortable room. Close to the great restaurants and bars of the little Venice area. The night manager in particular needs to be called out for his helpfulness. When no taxi was available for an early morning trip to the train station, he called a friend who got us to our train on time. That is how you get repeat customers. Thanks!

It came as a surprise to me to find out that breakfast hadn’t been included with our booking. I must have missed something in the booking process. We couldn’t pay extra and have breakfast that morning as it hadn’t been organised. Suggest people double check when they book or check in as it hadn’t happened to us before.

A 3-bed room in the center of Livorno, close to the main attractions and the port. Just a few steps from the main shopping street. The staff was friendly. We loved everything.

We checked in for 1 night after 2 flights and Micheal Forti and staff were both friendly helpful and even aiding us to acquire a taxi which was very challenging due to limited number. Thank you for helping us and providing our start to our vacation. Well done! Bravo! High recommended.

Hotel was in a very good area on the seafront on Southern outskirts of Livorno. The hotel was very clean and staff brilliant. There were small selection bars and restaurants close by and centre of town about mile and a half walk along lovely seafront. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed as a family of 4 in a family room. Full recommendation; Clean room with good beds and air con, Excellent Service ( good Italian breakfast with sufficiant selection w excellent coffee) and great location too; eatieries and nice beach promenade in walking distance. And od course: beautiful old Italian architecture. Near to ferry port too

The rooms are nice, clean. I miss a chair or two on balcony. Parking is ok. Breakfast selection is average, but all in all, it is good. The staff is super nice, helpfull.

Rooms were shabbier than expected, but there was plenty of space. Breakfast was good and service in the morning was very warm and friendly. Good location for visiting the waterfront area but less convenient to the downtown area/canals/Fortezza Nuova.

Lovely hotel, clean and spacious rooms, we had a triple room. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they let us store our luggage so we could explore Livorno. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk away from the main square and the cruise bus stop. The hotel doesn’t have a lift however the staff carried our luggage for us without us even asking for help, which was very kind of them.

A good location near to the Market hall and friendly staff. Overall a good price quality ratio. Some nice restaurants near by.

The hotel has a fairly good location, but using the bus or car to reach the center is essential. Even if it's on the boardwalk it lacks a sea view. It's quite an old building but in acceptable condition. On the positive side, breakfast was OK with the possibility of eating at the outside tables. The buffet was of standard quality. On the negative side, it's kind of run down and not as grand as it may...

booked for one night... considering the reputation, the location and the imposing structure I thought better. externally very beautiful, paid internal parking is not the best, the room assigned to me did not totally satisfy me: very comfortable bed and large special mattress.. but otherwise the room is dated.. cleanliness leaves something to be desired due to the dust hair found on the bedside table...

I stayed in this hotel for one day and I had a good time. It is located on the seafront in Livorno so a lot of traffic but I still slept very well. Excellent well stocked breakfast. There is always parking in front in the evening. If I can give some advice, the areas need a bit of renovation, specifically the bathrooms

I stayed one night in this hotel, located near the naval academy. Art Nouveau style hotel, clean and well furnished room, good welcome on arrival. We did not take advantage of the breakfast. Structure that I highly recommend.

Room is clean, airconditioning works well, only drawback is that shower is full of mold where they put paint over it, but that's obviously not working....

Just for one night, prices not really reasonable and parking not included. The lift is too small, probably just for the luggage.
