Clean, beautiful, and reasonably priced. I will be coming back. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They speak English for us foreigners. Overall, an amazing experience.

Very relaxing stay !! It's a luxury hotel and looks amazing outside and inside. The pool on the top floor has amazing views aNd you can totally relax as everyone is generally quiet and people whisper. Is like a spa atomosphere. Would not recommend more that two days as there is nothing to do in Livorno and the beaches are rocky .

Very impressive building, stunning rooftop pool and bar, pricey food and charges for towels at rooftop pool so bring your own, although limited space anyway. WiFi is very slow. Staff kind and helpful. Opposite very busy (charged) sunbathing quayside. No beach. Limited amenities nearby. Porto de Mare restaurant 5 mins down the road was fantastic for food, atmosphere and staff! Also free parking at this...

Lovely hotel right on the seafront. Initially had a room without a balcony, went to ask for one with and they swapped our room. Room was clean with good amenities. The one downside I had was that the shower smelt very damp.

Lovely hotel with lovely views. Lucky to get a balcony. Very busy by the pool and no sunbeds available but overall very clean and very helpful staff.

Rooms are spacious with high ceilings. The hotel is nicely situated near the sea. The rooftop pool is nice but can be deceiptively cold and is too small to lap. The rooftop bar is a nice location to enjoy the sunset.

Good hotel in the center of the city. Easy access. Parking with a cost is nearby. Rooms are spacious and clean. Downside is the walls are very thin you can hear people next door and you can hear the street noise. The restaurant is nice friendly staff. The hotel is old but it s part of the charm. Reception was ok we had some pleasant people but others were a bit grumpy.

Location is good, rooms are good clean but small. Advice for Indian - you need to take plugin adopted along with you. its near by Livorno seaport and Pisa airport.

Room was clean, a bit noisy trough windows and doors. Super pleasant staff, nice breakfast with good times (6.30-10). Near city center. Good dinner. The staff made their best that we had a nice time there.

the hotel reception staff get a 100 /100 . My elderly mother and father were on a cruise ship where my mother suffered a suspected stroke she was taken to hospital in Livorno where the doctors operated for a brain hemorrhage. my elderly father was put in to the hotel recommended by the cruise ship company I flew out to assist my father two days later .. the staff were do helpful with all sorts of assistance...

Great place where to spend your holidays. Positives: great personnel from the reception to the pool bar and the dinner service. Special mention to Franco who has been serving my family magnificently and to Davide at the bar whose single macchiatos are unrivalled. Lots of green and always ventilated - even when it is very hot you hardly feel it. Rooms were comfy and well cleaned. Nice swimming pools...

The room was not very clean. The cleaning service had no fixed hours, so you could hear them cleaning from 7 to 16. No way to plan your stay during the day. The hotel was “new and nice” 10 years ago. Now it should have 2-3 stars instead of 4. Not up to the standard it thinks it is.

Nice hotel, room was spacious and clean although perhaps a little bit dated (a refurb would make it even better). Restaurant was great, I really did enjoy the food. Outdoor swimming pool was nice. Unfortunately the spa was closed because of the covid restrictions.

The hotel is very good...the service is very good....the food is very good....the rooms are a little basic... some of the staff speak English ....we would definitely stay here again

Interesting hotel. It is in excellent technical condition - as if it were 1975 today. Everything here is in the style of the 70-80s of the last century. But everything is very clean and beautiful. Moreover, everything is stylistically very precise and fits together. Metlakh tiles on the floors, shutters on the windows, architecture and signs - all pure delight of already forgotten times. Clean hotel, very beautiful scenery on the water, and the staff and breakfast was great during our 1 day stay, wish we could have stayed longer.

Liked the hotel to take a room with sea view. It's nice to sleep with the window open to the sound of waves. Beach part of the hotel is limited to the shaft of the breakwater, and therefore there are no waves in the beach Bay where it was nice to swim. Breakfast on the upper terrace overlooking the sea - beautiful! But Breakfast buffet poor. Staff were change with the Russian-speaking girl. Parking...

Friendly staff, minimal english. Nice "beach" (paved area next to the water with umbrellas and beach chairs, color coded red: hotel guests and blue: everyone else) with snack/drink stand located at base of hotel. Clean minimalistic rooms with whirlpool showers (normal shower head, jets, and waterfall settings).

Perfect for a night or two. The staff was incredibly friendly and breakfast is only EUR 5 per person. Of course, the room is a bit dated but very clean with new-ish bathroom. You don’t need more! We parked the car in the car park next door

Nice spacious rooms which are clean. Very close to the main road and therefore all restaurants are close by. Great city centre hotel. Only serves breakfast.

Comfortable, guiet, clean. Very friendly stuff. Even drew us a map for ferry. And parking house is right next door- really nice!

Can't fault this hotel for the price. My wife and I and teenage son stayed one night in April 2018 having arrived at Pisa airport, and planning to catch the early ferry to Bastia the next morning. It took us a few minutes to discover the second bed was the sofa, and was already made up under a cover, but once we'd figured that out it was very comfortable for all of us. Free wifi, air-conditioning ...

Everything was good. Clean rooms, friendly staff, except for the breakfast. It was really bad. The second day we barely ate. We just went outside for something to eat.

We stayed at Max Hotel Livorno with my family during my visit to Pisa and Toscany area. I have stayed at Max Hotel in one of my business visits to Livorno before. Very nice and friendly staff. Room was a nice size. Bathroom was AMAZING! Shower nice and hot. Bed was super comfortable. Stuff in the fridge is a very decent price. They will even do laundry for you. The breakfast was also really good. The only small problem was the outlet was loose so the charger kept falling out, and needed to be propped up to stay in.

Confortable rooms, kind staff and quite good breakfast, but very noisy if your room is on the railway side...

We had a wonderful stay, our room was clean and had good facilities. The breakfast was good but above all, the staff were great, very helpful and kind.

My second time staying here and I would definitely make this my home hotel whenever I am in Livorno!

The place is very suitable for a vacation with small children, the room was wide, the bathroom too, the breakfast was nice. In the evening there is a program for children. It has its own pool and exit to the beach. Two sunbeds with an umbrella on the first line are paid 35€ per day. and parking €10 per day. A quiet place for a family holiday.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in throughout my entire trip. The dinner they serve is excellent, breakfast is large and full of options, the rooms are large and clean, bathrooms could have better lighting but are otherwise excellent, and it’s near a nice sandy beach

Huge and beautiful building, but less working electricity/technics in the rooms. Cleanliness is improbable. The features of the apartments vary greatly. (positive and negative)

Decent place to catch the ferry early in the morning. Garage available to protect your loaded car. Airco OK. Kind service

The location of the hotel is great. Pay parking is available around the hotel. The room is rather basic but comfortable. The price-quality ratio is ok. The reception staff is helpful.

The hotel is being renovated so that's a great thing. The beds are fine related with the price but a bit uncomfortable. The station grande 1 it's in front of the hotel so tis location was what she needed.

Great water front location with park and street parking. Very helpful at front desk. Spoke english.They have parking but you need to ask 10eu per nite. Comfortable room but computer desk and bath had no plugs. Plugs only behind bed, refrigerator required me to run plug across floor.

Good hotel. Nice atmosphere. Delicious breakfast. Everything is clean. But very bad sounds isolating. Very beautiful and kind personal. But a little bit expensive for that type of rooms. I recommend this hotel

Cool animators, good location, breakfast was not bad, bar doesn't accept cards, dirty sea,friendly persanal.

No wifi - Internet not working,the guy said nothing he can do. Only in the reception has internet. If you are tall the shower is small you can't bent. It only good for night rest if you need to sleep nothing else. Food I didn't have time to go and eat. So far the elevator is not that big. The room for 1 night is €75... but I can recommend for everyone to visit this place if you need a place to sleep

Very clean, close to the port Livorno. Friendly reception. We stayed one night, the air conditioner was automatically on, even if we turned it off after sometime was it on again, on by own. The room was too dark, and full with extra beds. There was a balcony but completely covered with wall. It was more likely a hole.

A simple 3 star hotel, but nice rooms, very clean, good prices and convenient location. I can recommend.

The hotel is a very aptly located . Is small neat and casual hotel. The people there speak good English and help you with maps and taxi. The hotel has newly installed elevator so it was easy to move the luggage. Breakfast is nothing much of a spread but some fresh crossaint and usual cereal and coffee .

Pretty close to the train station, the room is clean and recently renovated, breakfast is a bit too cheap and coffee is horrible

We stayed as a family of 4 in a family room. Full recommendation; Clean room with good beds and air con, Excellent Service ( good Italian breakfast with sufficiant selection w excellent coffee) and great location too; eatieries and nice beach promenade in walking distance. And od course: beautiful old Italian architecture. Near to ferry port too

The rooms are nice, clean. I miss a chair or two on balcony. Parking is ok. Breakfast selection is average, but all in all, it is good. The staff is super nice, helpfull.

Rooms were shabbier than expected, but there was plenty of space. Breakfast was good and service in the morning was very warm and friendly. Good location for visiting the waterfront area but less convenient to the downtown area/canals/Fortezza Nuova.

We chose to stay because this hotel was pretty close to the leaning tower of Pisa. However we were late and we had to call the front desk for the keys since their front desk doesn’t stay open late in the night. The room we stayed was clean but really cramped and it was upstairs. But since we stayed there for a night can’t comment much. Not a bad experience and the front desk person was friendly as...

Very good hotel. I had a large room and it was very clean. Very friendly staff and nicely situated opposite the Naval Academy. Breakfast was ok too. I only missed an egg. Price/quality very good as well.

Apartment in a very welcoming residence, close to the beach which is also very beautiful. Swimming pool with sushi and poké counter. 2 weeks stay at the top.

Nice renovated resort, but keeping the building as it was when it was built!! Beautiful swimming pool, efficient staff and reasonable prices!!! The food experience for the moment has not been satisfactory but we strongly trust in a future improvement ... A cocktail by the pool, listening to good music is highly recommended !!!!

A nice place with a beautiful pool. We were at a party with a buffet in the pool, the bathroom at night and the next evening dance.

I you wish for a city holiday , this is a great place , og you like peace and calmness , its not the place .

Really nice staff, friendly and provided some really good recommendations for places to eat and things to do in Livorno. Breakfast every morning was good and everything was fine. Very well priced and reasonably located. Love it!

Room is clean, airconditioning works well, only drawback is that shower is full of mold where they put paint over it, but that's obviously not working....

Just for one night, prices not really reasonable and parking not included. The lift is too small, probably just for the luggage.

Very good position for visiting the center and for the tranquility of the area (and in Livorno it is quite rare ..), so the distance from the station was abundantly compensated. Elegant and refined environment, as well as clean and comfortable, in particular thanks to the very suggestive garden where you could have very pleasant breakfasts (rich, even if not international). Particularly noteworthy...
