We had a room for 3, unfortunately it was in the corner of the eaves and there was no head room for 70% of the space, manoeuvring around was difficult. It was clean but there weren't enough hooks or areas for the suitcases. Quite location easy reach to the centre. We booked spa 4 weeks in advance, and they couldn't find our booking, which was irritating. However, they did let us in once I let them know who confirmed via email. Breakfast was fine. Dinner was poor for vegetarians even though I was ordering from the a la carte menu. Same vegetables and bland taste throughout, considering the hotel rating and price I expected much better.

The only nice thing i can say about this place is that the rooms were very clean and tidy. Other than this, we had a bad experience:
- The food was not good and despite paying a lot of money for dinners in advance, basic stuff like water was not included
- Most of the staff didn't know more than 5 words in English which made it very difficult to manage
- The staff was also very impatient and not welcoming, and also had zero knowledge of the skiing site (Even basic stuff like "are there lockers?")
- The hotel is located at the edge of the town, which required a lot of walking (usually with ski equipment). The hotel offers shuttles to overcome the issue, however these are not very reliable as we once waited for over 50 minutes for the shuttle before it arrived, and then the driver was mad at us for asking what took so long. Also, there is no way to get the drivers that doesn't involve an expensive phone call (as opposed to a whatsapp or other internet based communication)
- The "Spa" requires reservations for some reason, even though it's mostly empty. Also, they let in small children that make a lot of noise and commotion - not what i expected from what is supposed to be a relaxing experience. In addition, the "heated" pool and Hot Tub are lukewarm at best.

I recently spent a week at this hotel after previously visited it in another ski vacation in 2020 and decided to come back because i had a great experience back then. It was not the case this time, now it seemed like a different hotel. Maybe new management or the covid pandemic hit hard in the hotel industry.
The room was great, very cozy with a big bathroom, it was cleaned every day, thumbs up for the cleaning staff. But the services were not so great compared to my previous stay.
The breakfast didn't have much options in terms of vegetables. Instead there was a big buffet with deserts which i think should've been better for the dinner time.
Another thing i noticed, is that some of the food from dinner was used again the next day as starters so not sure what to make of this.
The spa was accessed only via reservations and i guess somebody had booked the whole week because the only slot available was from 7PM and the spa closes at 8PM.
Also there seems to be a language barrier because most of the staff does not speak english. Dinner time took forever to get through. Very long waiting times between courses while others seemed to get their food on time.
Big like for the shuttle service, always on point and very friendly and helpful staff.

I recently spent a week at your hotel, and while there were some positive aspects, there were also several notable negatives that impacted my overall stay.
One of the major issues was the persistent cold in my room. Despite reporting the problem daily, it took four days for the hotel staff to address the issue by providing an extra radiator. This delay in resolving a basic comfort issue was disappointing and affected the quality of my stay.

Another unpleasant surprise was the unexpected charge for the garage. It would have been preferable to be informed about this fee at the beginning, as complimentary parking would have been a more guest-friendly option.
The breakfast experience also left much to be desired, particularly due to the absence of vegetables. A more diverse and nutritious breakfast selection would greatly enhance the overall dining experience for guests.

I also noticed a concerning practice of food reuse during my stay. The previous night's dinner menu seemed to reappear the next day in the starter offerings, raising questions about the freshness and variety of the meals provided.

Access to the spa was hindered by the requirement for reservations. Unfortunately, this meant that we could only use the spa after 7 pm, as others had reserved time slots for the entire week from the start. This policy significantly limited our access and enjoyment of the spa facilities.

Furthermore, the practice of reserving tables for the entire week meant that we were unable to secure better positions. It was evident that preferences were given to certain guests.

Additionally, the language barrier was a notable challenge, as much of the hotel staff had limited proficiency in English. This impacted effective communication and the overall guest experience.

On a positive note, the shuttle services provided by the hotel were outstanding. Always prompt and helpful, the shuttle services greatly contributed to the convenience and ease of my travels during the stay.

In conclusion, while this hotel has some positive aspects, such as excellent shuttle services, the negatives, including delayed responses to room issues, unexpected fees, lack of vegetables for the breakfast, food reuse concerns, spa limitations, reserved tables, and language barriers, should be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience.

We spent 8 days at the Cristal Palace hotel. We visited a lot of hotels in Italy and around the world.

Hotel Cristal Palace is the hotel with the worst service we have ever been to. They have problems with everything, they require reservations everywhere.

For breakfast, they require a reservation which is impossible to make due to full occupancy and every day they give a different table, favoring the Italians

The fridge in the room heats up instead of cooling because all the food went to waste!

If someone wants to spend time with smiling and helpful staff, this is not a good place.

Hotel is in good location, looks quite pretty... and thats all.

1) For everything you have to make reservation, table for breakfast, dinner, for spa... sometimes you wanna go to the spa at 4 pm, sometimes at 8. It is nonsense you have to make reserveation for one specific hour.

2) Breakfast - every day the same breakfast, low quality eggs, 1-2 hams/salami. Not very bad, but for this prize you expect more. You can order eggs for kitcher, everytime raw.

3) English - i dont know how it is possible, in 21 century, that majority of stuff doesnt speak in english at all. Managers yes, but waitress, guys in spa, cleaning lady, drivers null. Ridiculous.

4) Rooms - small with VERY small beds. Beds are ok for 10 year kid, not for adults. On the picture you can see how clean room was after check in.

5) Wifi - few days doesnt work at all. Later works 1/5.

6) You can order food and drinks in the bar, after order barman ask you for your room number... and thats all. You dont have to sign the bill, u dont have to give your last name. So, after check out me and my friend we got bill for 750 euro for food and drinks we didnt order, someone just take it on our room. Explanations took about 30 minutes, good for us that we had some photos from this day from the restaurants in the city.

To sum up, if the price for day would be 30-40 euro - ok. But was 450-500. Ridiculous price for what we received.

You have a lot of hotels in Madonna di Campiglio, give it a wide berth.

I had a good stay there for 10 days in September... Food & view is fantastic. I would wish a room with terrace & village view for the next time though...
