La Locanda Del Carrubo Mini-hotel

Stunning location, elegant rooms, stylish decor, brilliant chef. This must be one of the very best places to stay in Puglia. Slight note of caution, that it would be best to avoid weekends in May and September when the hotel doubles as a wedding venue. But otherwise it's perfect.

The photos express the synthesis of how splendid this place is. With great attention to detail, it summarizes both the Gargano culture in its charm and the nature that surrounds it.
The kitchen is a tour at high altitude and if you have the opportunity to have lunch outside among the rural scents of the Mediterranean scrub, you forget in a flash that cities exist.

Very nice place, good food and superb sea view

A stay at the Locanda del Carrubo is like a stay at home with the loved ones and the ones who love and care for you, just away from home.

The location is secluded yet accessible, nature is omnipresent and breathtaking, the team is fantastic.

For a simple, natural, human and care free brake to charge up your batteries without having to worry about any thing because, the worrying is taken care by the discrete and attentive team, this place is very close to paradise.

The Locanda del Carrubo is not your standard luxury retreat.
The structure was built to host high end events, mainly weddings (Fri to Sun) in such a way that 2/3 of the structure is living its own purpose during the weekends while the team pampers the very few guests who enjoy their 1/3 of the structure inclusive of pool, SPA and very good kitchen (they even have their own Pastry Chef).

The best comes from Mon to Fri when the whole structure is available for the very few lucky guests who are pampered by the full team.

Should you want to take a dip into the Adriatic? In five minutes drive you'll be taken to the “La Casa e il Mare” beach (sister hotel on the water) and if that is not enough, there is a complimentary service to take you by boat to secluded beaches near by.

The Locanda del Carrubo is certainly one of the best addresses on the Gargano.

If you are looking for simplicity, privacy, peace and a level of unassuming attention similar only to that of a loving Pugliese Grandmother then this is the place to come to.

Beware, you must be willing to put on a few pounds. The daily delivery of fresh ingredients from the surrounding farms and sea are transformed by the magic of the kitchen into irresistible plates, pleasing the eye, the nose and your watering mouth....
