Hotel La Bussola

Great location in relation to the ferry. The lady at the front desk when we arrived was wonderful. She helped is with parking for the evening, and with how to get to the parking we reserved for the following day. She knew we had an early ferry and made sure to have breakfast ready early for us. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Impeccable and spacious room! Very welcoming and helpful gentleman at reception tonight- helped us navigate around Milazzo by also providing a map. Great location for a hotel !

For my business trip, the hotel was well located. Staff eager and friendly. Fitness room was the weak spot. Don't plan on using it if you are serious about exercise.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff super friendly, the room huge and well equipped. Breakfast delicious!! Super close to the port and minutes by car from the train station. I would definitely stay here next time. Thank you for the great experience 😊

After a sailing accident landed my father in the hospital in Milazzo, I had to find a hotel to stay in and chose La Bussola Hotel. I ended up spending a total of 11 nights here, so became very acquainted with the hotel and area. From the moment I checked in, I was so impressed with the excellent customer service I received from the hotel staff. Simona went above and beyond to make me feel as comfortable as possible, providing recommendations, extending my stay as needed, etc. I don’t speak Italian, and everyone was great with speaking english. The location is absolutely ideal, located right across from the harbor and within a 5-10 minute walk to many wonderful restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable and clean and had everything I needed. The included buffet breakfasts in the morning were delicious and as soon as they saw me they brought me my coffee without my even having to ask and would then bring my car up right away. This was a very stressful time under the circumstances, and I feel grateful to have found this place to stay with these kind, helpful people, while managing everything with my dad in the hospital. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. A+ all around, Grazie!

Room was good size, however overran with ants. Breakfast was a great selection of delicious foods.

We stayed in the hotel 2 times writhing a week on our way to the Aeolian Islands.
It’s location next to the port is perfect.
The hotel is comfortable and well equipped.
Most importantly, we liked the staff. They made sure our stay was smooth so they helped us with transportation, suggestions on where to go in the city, and they stored our luggage for 5 days so we didn’t have to carry heavy bags to the islands… much appreciated :)

I came to Milazzo for a conference and stayed at La Bussola. The hotel is very clean and modern, and close to everything. I am writing this review because the staff went out of their way to help with any issues. For example, they helped me organize a transfer from Palermo for my girlfriend after her flight to Catania had been canceled. Highly recommended!
