We spend every year a long weekend with my wife in a romantic and intimate place without our kids. My had chosen this plan last time. And it was a 100% perfect choice. All details were just great. Our room was spacious and smart with a great view of the Tuscan hills. I should say that the surrounding and the view were gorgeous at each part of the hotel. And the restaurant. No words which could describe...

I am writing in advance of our stay to commend the service of everyone on the team. I called to talk to the front desk abut upgrading my room and for the first time in my life I was disuaded, being told that I have already booked a stunning room. The young woman who helped me asked me what I wanted and shared that I would have 2 rooms so I could get up early and make myself coffee while my son sleeps...

Had a great experience here in this beautiful castle in the Tuscan hills. We loved the meals in the restaurants. Superb food and fantastic wines, and great service from the staff. My wife took full advantage of the spa and pool. Would love to go back.

The hotel is beautiful, but there is something off about this place. You should check out the ghost of Velona. I felt like a cash cow more than a guest. Transfer provided by car service €110 each way as compared to €30 to €70 by private car. Why would they do this? They also take a piece of restaurants they booked for me. It’s fine. Not worth more than that. Truly not worth even the review. Incredibly expensive for sub par food, a lackluster concierge, little to no service, rude staff. However, I will note, Domenico and the cooking class was the only highlight! Last thing - don’t pay for a suite with a terrace, the doors do not open but somehow still allowed water in when it rained. Not sure.

Lovely lovely historic hotel in the heart of Montalcino. Rebekah is the best host as well as the owners who are always keeping a watchful eye to see to your needs. #9 Room was small but had a great view. A/C worked great. No lift so stairs are plentiful. Breakfast is OK. Restaurant is superb. They also park your car for only 10 euros per night.

I stayed after a day of driving from Florence. Arriving in front of the hotel with a car can be difficult. There’s really only one way into that street. Don’t use any of the mapping systems available. They will send you down small streets that cannot be traveled in an automobile. Once arriving, the staff was fantastic. They wisked my car away to park. The rooms are quaint. My room had excellent upgrades...

The food, atmosphere and service was phenomenal. Mario was a wonderful host and Anna prepared the delicious meal. Mario has the most extensive wine menu in the town, unbelievable actually! The food was over the top - excellent. This was not only a great meal, the experience was a memory we will never forget.

Very Tuscan experience with several experiences to offer! In house del Bosco Tuscan red wine is worth a taste!

The del Voscovo Suite is one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in. Even better, we were just an elevator ride away from the bar and restaurant. Hotel staff was extremely attentive and I would recommend this place for anyone wishing to get away for mindfulness and serenity. Overall, the grounds are spectacular with a focus to olden times. I would give 6 stars if I could! Our stay and tour experience with Rosewood was absolutely fantastic and even surreal! The Suite, the food, the wine, the pool, the spa……I couldn’t say anything negative about the Resort. Most importantly, the staff are all Service Masters! The front desk agents helped us with everything, their internal communication, OMG, absolutely flawless. I’ve worked in luxury hotel...

The resort was beautiful, but the food was not quite at the level we had hoped. Also, as parents of a young child, we are rather sympathetic to children, but with such a small pool area, it is not very relaxing to have very loud kids playing/yelling. Perhaps a future family pool would be a good addition to the property.

The best view from Montalcino overlooking the Tuscan countryside. It's conveniently close to the center, yet immersed in nature. In the morning, we took a delightful walk in the fields before enjoying a breakfast served on a terrace with an incredible view. The breakfast was also very enjoyable

This was our second time and not our last at this amazing little hotel in such a cute non crowded village..The view from our room 306 I think and the pool and terrace are amazing.....There are plenty of great restaurants to walk too and the other villages like Peinza and Sienna and Montepulciano are such a short easy drive....Its the home of Brunello wine so its surrounded by vineyards If your looking...

The hotel has a very nice location, close to the piazza and everything around. They have a free car parking. The staff was very polite and helpful. They gave great dinner recommendations and made our reservation for us. Breakfast was okay. Everything was clean. Could not give 5 stars because it was very loud. I could here the people next door and above very clearly. Anytime a toilets was flushed or someone took a shower, I could hear everything.

We had a fabulous 4 day honeymoon stay at this hotel. The location is so convenient in the town. The room is large and views unbeatable. Lovely breakfast. I had an amazing experience here which might only be appreciated by cyclists. I rode up the hill after a day of riding through the mud and gravel of the "strade bianche" and was greeted by the hostess who immediately offered me an area in the back yard to clean and work on my bike. As a bonus, the sliding glass door of my room opened up onto the patio so I could do "bikepacking" tasks from the comfort...

We have had an apartment on the very top of the house with beautiful views from the balcony both to the old town an castle. You can make a nice dinner there with the views. Comfy bed and everything you need for the stay.

What they gave me was not just a room but a mini apartment in a part of the house, so the rooms were large and I felt like home. Very good breakfast, only you pay for it separately.

Nice historical accommodation in the heart of Montalcino. We spent lovely 3 nights here. Is a little bit noisy with the rooms to street, but the staff is amazing, mostly the lady who handle the hotel. Because of her we liked it. Thank you!

Great accomodation in the heart of beautiful city of Montalcino..

We stayed at this place on a one night trip this beautiful city. The only issues we had were initially parking in order to get to the place. You need to park on the edge of town (about a 5 minute walk max) and walk in. We also were lucky that the manager saw us walking up because you can't get in initially without someone unlocking the front door. Overall, the room was nice and the location was great...

Lucilla and Frank were wonderful host. They gave us suggestions on restaurants and surrounding towns to visit on our three day stay. The morning breakfast were great and the place was very clean. Will definitely stay here on a return visit.

My fiancé and I went on our 3rd trip to Montalcino, and this quite possibly could have been the best. From the beginning Palazzina Cesira were very hospitable. In the morning they have a beautiful spread of food including "eggs your way", and delicious blood orange juice from Sicily! From there they suggested a wonderful restaurant that served the traditional Pinci pasta of the area. We highly recommend...

We had a magnificent stay in an old romantic hotel. First of all the hostess Elra made it a holiday to remember. She organized visits to local wineries, not the large industrial ones, but small farms with excellent wine and delicius food. She took us out in her private car, and we had long walks back on small farm roads between the vines in Val d'Orica . The valley is on the World Heritage list, perhaps...

I suspect the menu changes frequently — it’s pretty small. Had vegetarian versions of a few dishes. Really delicious. They bring a few rounds of extra items too.

Our host worked nearby (at Montalcinos best restaurant Alle Logge di Piazza) and was always close. There was an included breakfast at the bar next door where you could chose whatever you wanted (almost). There was also a common area that you shared only with the second room in the building. You had a fridge and could enjoy free tea and coffee but most of all, an amazing view over the surroundings.

Perfect location, super clean, more than enough towels and linens. Perfect for a 2 night stay, we would stay longer if we could! Oh and the view was just stunning!

Beautiful farmhouse set in a beautiful location. Ideal for spending even just weekends. The apartments are well furnished and the staff is kind and attentive. Very enjoyable the possibility of tasting at the winery.

the location of the villa is astonishing and the room has a spectacular view in the vineyards. Wine produced on location is available for direct consumption in room with a charge upon departure. Wine tasting was also offered in the nearby wine shop.

All beautiful, the Peace of the senses with a capital P, a garden that relaxes you just by looking at it, rooms that lack almost nothing (there is even a coffee machine), special wines and grappas available to guests (brandy fabulous) ... A good place, but a bit expensive... You don't have your own restaurant, you have to go either to Montalcino or to neighboring villages. Well, the worst thing is that the last 2 kilometers you have to drive on dusty gravel .... I even felt sorry for the rented car ...

The 2 nights in the terrace apartment were fantastic and came at ease after the trip to Rome. My family could spend a happy time watching the Tuscan Plain, which overlooked from morning to evening on the terrace. All the interiors in the accommodation were very neat and tidy, so I was able to stay in a good mood. Breakfast was also delicious, and the time when I learned to make Italian home-cooked...
