Recently renovated hotel 5-min drive from gate of city. Spent one night during a road trip. Free parking and good wifi. Commissioned local artists to paint murals and wall texts in halls, stairs, and rooms. Art books in lobby. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms with all the basics. Only draw back was the typical Italian-hotel breakfast of pastries and other pre-packed carby, sugary stuff.

Location is easy to reach on SS Flaminia and rooms are clean. The hotel is 30 min walk from Spoleto historical center by a road not so busy. The restaurant offers good dishes for the level of money.

Period residence in all respects. It needs a little refreshing and fixing here and there. But the view and the panorama pay off some flaws. The cuisine is good and you can see the search for excellent ingredients. The peace that you breathe is in keeping with the place.

Accommodation and restaurant with stunning views. Ancient home of popes and poets, with pool and wifi. There is no TV as in any self-respecting hermitage. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean rooms and impeccable service, present and working conditioner. In the last 1000 meters do not trust the navigator but look for the signs on the yellow signs, otherwise you will not arrive at your destination. Silence...

A very nice place with a wonderful dizzying view over Spoleto but maybe it should be taken care of a little more. pool always very clean ... the road that leads to the hermitage is very narrow and unpaved. The rooms are perfectly in theme with the presence of numerous frescoes because it has a historical appeal it will find bread for its teeth ... and certainly a journey through time

In Spoleto, the most beautiful, wonderful, welcoming, rare, unique, kind staff, a pearl of Italy, anyone would envy such a place. Panorama that fills eyes and spirit. Rooms: one more beautiful than the other. dominant structure but itself dominated by peace. I will definitely be back !!!!

Only stayed here for one night, and it was magical. This place is so old and super cool. It's like staying in a museum that you can explore, definitely going to come back. We also had dinner there, and it was incredible...like Michelin star incredible. I cannot express how amazing the food and environment is. If you can, please check this place out, it is a hidden gem. :)

the Palazzo Dragoni is a splendid old building with a history. The views of Spoleto from its windows are breathtaking. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The breakfast is to die for…most of it home made, or local specialties

I enjoyed sooo much the stay at this hotel! It is in walking distance to the heart of Spoleto, Il Duomo, and my favorite restaurant in the world, the famous Tric Trac! We happened to be there while there were filming the Italian Series "Don Mateo" so we got to sit at the tric trac beautiful tables in the piazza and be extras on the show. An elegant hotel in a cute normally quiet town. Staff are friendly, restaurant is good. There's a small pool that's welcome in the summer when the weather can be warm. This place just says Umbria.

I went there for one night stay with my wife, the rooms are clean with super comfortable bed, we were located at the first floor but had a beautiful view from our balcony. The breakfast was basic but enough to get us started. Have to say that the staff is incredible

Excellent location just outside the centre of Spoleto, with a carpark. Our room had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. This is a modern hotel - everything works well. The staff were friendly and professional and quickly solved a problem with opening a suitcase. All major sites were within easy walking distance from the hotel. The continental breakfast was fine.

Nice location, quiet and our room was nice. However, breakfast service was poor. Always running out: Ordered boiled egg that wasn’t cooked... arrived at 9.00 am each day to find no food laid out, tables not prepared, toaster and juicer not working daily. Our travel companions had to change room as there was no hot water. Then the new room had a fold out bed for one of their daughters that folded unexpectedly...

At the heart of the city of spoleto this nice hote offers really comfortable stay. Although the room is small and could use some renovation but it is the historic center of a historic town. Best thing is you get out of the hotel and you easily reachable to most of the touristic sytes.. the food is very good and fresh with a good verity every day. Staff is pleasant and friendly.

Very nice hotel close to everything. Parking lot was a plus. Extensive breakfast. If you stay in the apartment, know that it is accessed separately from the hotel up a cobblestone alley, is in a large, brick, vaulted room and does not have windows. We liked it but it may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Charleston! Our room was a superior room that was very attractive and had a very comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was great! The location of the hotel was very convenient, about a 3 minute uphill walk to the main shopping street in Spoleto and in walking distance to all of the sights and restaurants. Even the train station was only a 20 minute easy walk...

Beautiful structure in the center of Spoleto, very friendly and helpful staff, possibility of garage, the only flaw is the slightly dated bathroom. The reference restaurant Barcaccia, not far from the hotel, is also very good, with typical cuisine and really excellent friendly and welcoming staff.

Beautiful and spacious room, we also made use of the garage, the location in the center was convenient, it allowed us to get around the city with the stroller, the treadmills were also nearby and the operators were very kind, it is the second time we have stayed here and not it will be the last.

The greatest hosts we met during our trip around Italy. And the most wonderful dinner we ever had, consisting of twelve parts. For ridiculously little money. The best of the best. We have been visiting for 7 years without fail every year. Standard always kept, extremely clean, staff very welcoming and most importantly great food!

Hands-down the best meals and the most accommodating people that I have ever experienced in my life. We love them. We go way out of our way every time we are in Italy to bask in their hospitality and food craft. If I were allowed to make only one recommendation for a place to stay and eat...this would be it. It's a singular experience.

Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The room was nice and warm in the winter, and very quiet. It's located in the hills, among olive trees, with a nice view on the valley. There's a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi for the summer. The hotel has an incredible restaurant which is definitely worth trying.

We stayed two days in this wonderful place, despite the weather not being the best our stay was perfect. The room where we slept was very clean and welcoming, surrounded by greenery, a cuddle. Very kind and always available staff. Valentina always present for any eventuality, a round of applause goes to the Director Fabrizio, friendly and ready to satisfy every need of the customer! We didn't read the address... middle of an industrial park outside Foligno. HOWEVER - plenty of parking, modern (10 years old), pristinely clean, Reception helpful/spoke Eng. A huge complex with most sports catered for, a well-equipped gym, a water slide, several pools including a large one. We imagined it would be the kind of place Italian families might go on Summer vacation = Self-contained, safe...

Enter a wonderful place at your own risk. The road leading to the hotel is extremely narrow and dangerous it is filled with holes including a terrible one on there entry. The rooms have no ventilation and no windows other than the door. Marco at the front desk was very helpful. The cleaning staff needs training three days they did not remove a bag of trash. The restaurant is amazing the food was outstanding...

The location is splendid. The view, the pools, the olive trees, the well-kept greenery. We really appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining all of this. The restaurant is also good. We ate really well. The staff was kind. The bathroom in the room, however, is a big flaw. Neglected and in need of renovation. Very strong smell that only went away after a night with the fan on. I wouldn't go back...

The park like setting is stunning. Be sure to book a room overlooking the pool and gardens. Service at both the front desk and breakfast/lunch room couldn’t be more gentile and thoughtful. Great location to enjoy day trips to Gubbio, Assisi, Spoleto and other lovely Umbrian hilltop towns. Once back from touring enjoy an Aperol on the terrace before dinner. And the village of Montefalco, an easy 10...

Good room size, good WiFi, nice location near quiet cycle routes and centrally located for pretty Umbrian towns The bad; no restaurant on site (they had closed it for no apparent reason even though it’s advertised !). If you want any food you have to drive 15 minutes one-way. Nothing in the minibar, no on-site shop. Poor/average breakfast selection...

The property was beautiful, but in a very, very small village, so nothing to do here except a country road walk. The town of Trevi was a very close drive and a much nicer town than the super touristy ones nearby like Spello. I guess my big disappointment was that the hotel was almost empty. It is as most of the reviewers state, a lovely, peaceful hotel which is perfectly located among wines and countryside for daily touring. The staff are friendly and helpful (Luca is terrific) and the room is spacious, comfortable and quiet. The pool is beautiful and gardens attractive and fragrant. Our only small suggestion would be to provide in the room glasses for water and cups for hot drinks rather...

This beautiful property set in the Umbrian countryside is the ideal base for exploring the gorgeous hill towns of Umbria. The rooms are large and elegant with balconies overlooking the pool and gardens with beautiful trees in the foreground and villages and churches beyond. The restaurant serves marvelous food and has a great wine list. We had four superb days here and highly recommend it to everyone...

Suite: very spacious and equipped with a working kitchen. Sofa bed not very comfortable and poor lighting in the rooms. The hairdryer did not work as did one of the two TVs provided in the evening upon arrival (but it must also be said that they arranged everything the following day). This is a quaint family villagio close to the hill-top Town of Montefalco in the heart of the Umbrian countryside. The rooms are super clean and each have a little ground floor terrace. The family owners are very friendly and can't do enough to help - nothing is hassle! This is a great base to visit other beautiful towns like Trevi, Assisi, Spello etc, but a car is required. Would happily stay here...

Beautiful hotel with a swimming pool situated in a great location between Assisi and Spoleto. Friendly staff and tasty local wine which is a mixture of Merlot, Sagrantino and Sangiovese. Really good for families with kids. In the restaurant you can eat many local dishes and the quantity is more than enough.

I stayed with a fairly convenient Weekend offer in Umbria. Look on their website because they make various offers not available on the portals. Area: a stone's throw from the station and 10 minutes from the city centre. Breakfast: average, salty needs to be improved, too many extra things for a fee. Parking: few places available, SPA is not always available: sore point, really "minimal", small, poorly...

It is a boutique hotel in a converted old Italian palazzo. The facilities are excellent but in the room there was not even a kettle to make coffee, there was a mini refrigerator with two cans of soda. However, the unforgivable thing is that the Wi-Fi connection did not work inside the room and they use an open network that is not secure. Maybe they are used to receiving local clients who do not need...

I was a guest of the hotel with my wife for only two days but if I return to Foligno I will certainly stay in this facility again. I found the staff very helpful and friendly, the room a little dark but comfortable, the breakfast very well assorted.

Very nice and affordable hotel in the heart of Foligno. The service is way above the number of stars that it has on the front door. We were treated with white gloves from the get go. Furthermore, we had a problem misplacing the electronic key very late at night and the concierge came all the way where we were having a dinner party to bring a spare… this is the kind of service that you don’t get anymore...

Our train got cancelled last minutes and we end up staying in this hotel. Its in the perfect location and not too noisy and the breakfast is good.

Martina was a very good friendly receptionist who greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. As early as we were she was able to find us a room. Great sized room, great bathroom, great breakfast. All very nice, wonderful decor, too bad it was closed! We phoned to book the swimming pool & lunch, they gave us availability but on our arrival they informed us that the kitchen was closed and that for lunch only frozen sandwiches and pizzas were available, among other things passed off as pizzas made at the moment !! What a disappointment!

The staff and the owner Vincenzo very courteous, helpful, efficient and very attentive to customer needs. I chose it as the location for my graduation and my guests and I were super satisfied. Such a beautiful place. Whilst we didn't eat there the restaurant was fully booked and we could tell it would be a lovely night. The grounds were well kept with plenty of parking and a stunning pool. A wonderful place.

Beautiful and evocative place, with a breathtaking view, the welcome from Mrs. Nadia was fantastic, not to mention the apartment, very clean and fully equipped, and the presence of the two swimming pools is the icing on the cake. The castle is located on top of a hill, which offers a beautiful 360 degree panorama as well as a breezy climate. Although there are several apartments and common areas, the spaces are large and organized so that everyone has the privacy they want, moreover some services for collective use have been temporarily suspended due to the COVID emergency. The hotel is excellent. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The a/c was not cool enough for August. The desk clerk arranged a taxi for us to dinner and the taxi returned exactly on time. The breakfast was very good and abundant. Comfortable bed and very nice clean bathroom. The city #1 bus leaves the train station and takes you to Agora bus stop directly in front of the hotel in a few minutes...

This art hotel is located on the main plaza of Montefalco, within 3 minutes easy walk to some of the best restaurants in Umbria. Everything was great at this hotel. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast did not have a huge variety and mountains of food like other hotels but it had exactly the amount and variety needed - from cold cuts to cakes to bread to yogurt and fruit - and everything was fresh and of high quality. We stayed as a couple in early October, taking a 3-day stay with Emozione 3. We were very well received by Nina's kindness and helpfulness. The place is beautiful with a beautiful landscape and a lot of tranquility. The day we visited so many nearby places and in the evening a delicious fragrance greeted us when we came back .. it was the dessert of Kostantino that we would have eaten among other things...
