Hotel Porta Reale

We had an offsite apartment. Overall it wasn't a deal breaker. The room was clean. We had everything we needed. Just a bit annoying not to have immediate access to hotel amenities. Breakfast was great. Hostess was very accommodating. Our kids did not want to walk over to the hotel for breakfast so the hostess packed us breakfast to go for them.

We stayed at the Porto Reale, Noto from May 30th to June 13th. It was our first trip to Sicily. The hotel accommodated in an apartment annexe that was large and well equipped. Domestic staff cleaned every day . Our stay included breakfast which was had in the hotel breakfast room. The choice, variety and quality of food was excellent with lovely friendly staff to help if needed. We have stayed in hotels in the UK, the USA and Europe. The quality that made Porto Reale stand out is the staff. They were outstanding in their customer service, e.g. arranging very reasonable car hire, delivering the car to the hotel door every morning and car parking at the end of each day, towels for the beach etc etc. The staff were always friendly and welcoming - they really wanted to help us enjoy our stay in the hotel and enjoy Sicily. We thoroughly recommend the Hotel Porto Reale and its excellent staff.

We rented the top floor of the apartment behind the hotel. More space than we actually needed but absolutely essential because the actual hotel is on the Main Street and it’s very loud. We were luckily far enough away from the noise. Lovely staff. Valet to park our car. Washing machine in the room. (You need to air drop on the terrace but it’s fine) Delicious breakfast and coffee. The woman who supervised the breakfast and coffee was 10/10. The room itself is always clean, great shower! Perfect location from anything you need in NOTO. Also a 15-20 minute walk to the train if you want to visit Siracusa & ortigia. I think this is an excellent place to stay. Highly recommend. I should have taken more pictures.

Lovely hotel, well located in the heart of Noto. We were not warned about road closures during Infiorata and parked a mile away and carried our baggage uphill. But they graciously provided transport when we checked out. Really nice breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit.

If you are thinking of going to Noto, just go, but try to stay for a day or 2. The Hotel Porta Reale is a diamond . Look nowhere else as our stay was the best stay in years. As a frequent traveler the staff, bed, and architect was the finest. The breakfast buffet was the most amazing . Location perfect. Guilia and Anna Lisa were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure all was well 5 stars!

Fantastic boutique hotel. Friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome Located right at the entrance of the historic town, offers private off site parking. Beautiful, well appointed rooms with fluffy bathrobes, strong AC and balcony with views of Noto. Rooftop terrace where we enjoyed a complimentary welcome apéritif. Delicious breakfast buffet with lots of fresh local product and options. Even provided a large basket of gluten free cookies for my son. Had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Boutique hotel in the center of Noto, Staff was very nice and helpful suggesting us very good restaurants and things to do, very good breakfast and fantastic location. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend few days in this magnificent village. We will be back for sure!
