The room itself was bit dated however the hotel staff is more than awesome and location and views are second to none. We stopped here on a driving trip as a overnight before heading to Sicily and I am very glad we did. The restaurant staff and food was fantastic. The parking was easy and secure and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again the next time we find ourselves in the area,

It’s a beautiful place, very friendly staff, a bit far from the village and beach but they offer shuttle service. However, when it comes to being on time, making sure they get your order right, it’s a lottery if it works out and sometimes they just have a huge delay. Most of the people there don’t speak english or just understand a few words.

Rosario and all the team made us feel like at home. This is the perfect stop on your way to Sicily. The hotel has also a very good restaurant which we used and the quality and kindness was really great. I had such a great experience at this hotel after a bad one priorly booking a closed hotel just nearby... Very good service, kind staff and delicious food! Location on the lungomare affords great views from the sea-facing rooms, although the piazza out front is crowded--and noisy--all night. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but clean.

The location was excellent, and the staff could not of been more helpful. It was also great being above the bustling wine bar and whenever we had a drink there was always people to chat to or to just soak up the atmosphere, your staff are exceptional

I love this place. There is a nice selection of local wines and great food to enjoy the wine even more. I highly recommend parmigiana - it's very unique with smoked cheese, as well as bruschetta di mare. Delicious! We booked this at the last minute due to its proximity to the airport in Reggio Calabria. It was the nicest place in which stayed in all of Puglia and Calabria. Room was immaculate and the staff attentive and professional.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The resort is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Strait of Messina, beautiful gardens, and a real sense of peace. The staff were warm and attentive, the rooms spacious and elegant, and the pool and spa made it a perfect retreat. Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Altafiumara. The staff were incredibly kind, from the front desk staff to the restaurant staff, everyone treated us well. The food was amazing as well, and the room was very comfortable and CLEAN! We had no issues whatsoever, we wish we could have stayed longer. The food was good, but for such a large resort, the small pool could be better. No one was allowed to lie on the loungers; they were cordoned off. And in the evenings, there was music playing, which was completely unpleasant.

the location is really wonderful! It's on the beach of capo Vaticano and during all the day you have a wonderful view. The service is quite fast. Food is really good but the ice-cream, specially CANOA it's really AWESOME! I've never tried something like that, everyone must try it!

Three of us stayed in April 2024, and it was a wonderful experience. Very beautiful village directly on the sea, full of vegetation, lawns and well-kept plants. I really enjoyed my stay at Villagio Baia D´Ercole. It is an awsome location right by the sea. The rooms are super clean, the food is excellent and the animation program was the greatest. Well organized and entertaining! There was something for everyone - from kids to adults. From german songs to italian dances... and especially the aqua gym was fantastic! I´ve never seen bikes in the swimming pool...

The village is located in an extremely touristic area consisting of a general complex of villages and bed and breakfasts, about 30 minutes from Tropea. My room was generaly ok, but I have some reservations. For example in apartment with kitchen, bathroom, marital room and main room the air conditioner is located in marital room. This is causing problems: one room is arctic cold, the other hot. Another minus is kitchen created for one person use and lack of some equipmemt (for example wine glasses). Last minus is paid toilet on the beach (0,5€).
