The house is spacious and well equipped - plenty of in and outdoor space to relax in whatever the weather. David! The host David is amazing! We arrived very late, but he stood there and welcomingly awaited us. Once arrived he gave us so much information about every possible thing that we could want to do on the whole of Sicily. He even sent us PDF files with parking places and everything. The stay was comfortable and well located close to Etna, for next day exploring.

We had just a one night stop over before going to Etna the next day and it was a delightful one! We ended up having a meal with David talking of our travels, which was very welcomed and lovely. He gave us many tips for our future travels too. The joys of travelling!

We stayed two nights in this b & b (the initial idea was only one). Excellent location a few steps from the meeting point for excursions on Etna. Our room with private bathroom was new, clean and equipped with every comfort. Room and bathroom was very clean. There is an aircon in the room that also can be used for heating. Breakfast was perfect. The staff is very friendly and takes the time for you. Perfect base for excursions to the ETNA. Best is to take your own car to the base station and from there you can hike up or take the cable car / 4x4 Bus.

A wonderful experience in a small village on the slopes of Etna. The room was clean and equipped with every comfort. Breakfast is the real highlight: fruit, cakes and cones baked every morning gave us the right energy to start the day. Welcoming, trained and professional staff, gave us several suggestions on what to visit in the surrounding area. I will definitely be back

Apart from being in a very quite area with a nice big garden it was spotless ckean and you could park the car just outside B&B.

The owner is the most helpful host I've met during my stay in Sicily. Even while he doesn't speak English, with Google Translate he can help you with everything. Next to that, they did bring us fresh towels everyday. And they invited us for a dinner with friends of them which was a pleasure to experience with very nice homemade pizza's. Returning from a trip to Etna, we were welcomed by Mr. Giovanni in his villa from the late 1700s to early 1800s. A stately home with a magnificent garden. Clean and very large rooms! Thanks! Bed & Breakfast in a lovely Sicilian country house from the early 19th century at the south slope of Etna, owned by over 80 years old Giovanni. It feels like being guest of Il Gattopardo. Perfect place for excursions to Etna or just relax after climbing the volcano. If you wish Giovanni prepars a excellent lunch and dinner. Traditional and homemade. Great!

In the pictures, the rooms are somehow brighter, more spacious, newer. Otherwise normal, the place is clear. The car park is open, across the street, but protected from traffic. There is a shared bathroom upstairs. Breakfast is Italian, Hungarian may not have enough, but it's okay. Quiet place anyway. Within walking distance you will find shops and restaurants nearby. It's a B&B managed by associazione amici del parco dell'Etna it's a comfortable solution next to the Etna. Room are new with toilette inside with Sicilian picture inside (carretto siciliano).

Apartment composed of 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds and 1 kitchenette (oven, hotplates, fridge and sink). Comfortable no more. Approximate finishes but nothing disturbing (paintings on the walls and ceilings that are falling apart). In 4 nights no cleaning and no towels changed. Pleasant swimming pool (cap required).

I chose the Rosso Lava restaurant to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary. High quality at the right price., Organization and intimate and elegant location. Satisfied guests, successful evening. I recommend to everyone the fish menu, for the taste, the variety and the care in the presenttion.
