However, the overall experience did have a small disappointment which tarnished our impression. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary & wanted to eat at the restaurant only to be told it was closed on Thursdays. This info was buried in a long message and we’d hadn’t seen it. So instead we wanted to invite 2 non residents to join us there for a drink, but were told this wasn’t allowed.
This seemed a petty rule given the hotel was not that busy and spoilt an otherwise pleasant stay.
Everything was wonderful, the room was so quiet because of the old thick walls, the bathroom is modern and fully equipped, the hotel Itself is beyond wonderful with amazing restaurant and swimming pool and the most beautiful view of Perugia and the valley.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast is very delicious with a breathtaking view.
Highly recommended and looking forward the next visit
