Perugia Plaza Hotel, Perugia1 / 33

Perugia, Via Palermo 88 🧭 Map
This hotel is situated outside the main Perugia city, down a hill and a 25 minute walk from the mini metro. Its not terribly convenient for tourists. The rooms are tired. Minimal facilities with old fashioned bathrooms. We found the service OK. Not particularly helpful, expect for one assistant. Be aware that standard European plug adapters don't seem to work in any of the room plugs. The hotel will...
After a short stay in Lubliana, in our trip to Rome, we choose to stay one night for transit in Perugia, and I decided Perugia Plaza Hotel is our best option. We it`s look like we choose smart. The hotel it`s big, clean and the staff are very polite and speak english very well, despite the fact italian language can be easy understand. Nevertheless, we had a nice stay, even if it was for night. The...
A decent hotel but personally not worth the price. The bar was constantly closed and we had to ask the front desk just to make a coffee, even over the weekend when you think they would want to make money. Location is no man’s land with some groceries and a highway next to you VERY far from center. WiFi was ok, some issues going out and in. The pool was the highlight as we had it to ourselves for both...
I was recently at guest at the Plaza Hotel and I would like to express my gratitude to Marta and let you know what exceptional customer service she provided I was staying with a large group, but had to return to Canada earlier than my group by myself. Marta was kind enough to find a bus that would take me to the airport with no transfers. I was nervous about finding the bus terminal so Marta took...

Hotel La Rosetta, Perugia1 / 21

Perugia, Piazza Italia 19 🧭 Map
After reading several bad reviews, we were disappointed. Completely unjustified. Yes, the building is old, it could probably use a lick of paint and the furniture in the lobby cannot be called new. We think the service is excellent. There is always someone at the reception. Our bed turned out to be sagging, no problem at all, we were given another room, we were allowed to leave the things in the room...
Chosen for one night, passing through, given the privileged position at the beginning of the pedestrian area. Extremely far from a four star - the furnishings of the room are truly disheartening - it also has numerous deficiencies in cleanliness, a detail that has nothing to do with the age of the property, perhaps more with excessively distracted management. Sin!
Strong point: the location right at the beginning of the very convenient pedestrian area. Weak points are the breakfast (the choice doesn't expand much) and the lack of a shower tray (bathtub) in the room. The structure and furnishings are very dated. Fair price.
I highly recommend Hotel La Rosetta. The staff is quite friendly and a plus for me, spoke English with ease. The rooms are clean and spacious with nice art prints making it homey and inviting. The bathroom was quite nice with both a big bathing tub and a large shower. As everyone writes, the location is excellent, not just for access to the old city but to the parking garage if you are driving. The...
Location is excellent, right in the centre, rooms very spacious and comfortable, with nice bathrooms. All the standard amenities (but no kettle or coffee machine). Staff friendly and nice, even if they did mix up the bill at the end. WiFi was occasionally slow, to the point where it didn't want to work. Breakfast is not bad, but apart from sweet things (yes, I know, Italian breakfast) it was pretty...
Its a lovely hotel situated close to main piazza and attractions. Very clean and rooms have an antique decor which we've never been before. Room was very spacious.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The property is Set in beautiful managed gardens, making the morning and evening stroll quite lovely. There are many activities on offer. The bar and restaurant were very nice with lovely ambiance. The food and service excellent. Our room excellent
Beautiful hotel, large rooms, nice English speaking staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful garden/park, close to Perugia, excellent parking. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed, the bar only opens in the evening and no lunch possibilities. The road to the hotel is bumpy.
Pleasant accommodation with lovely gardens and facilities. The architecture and decor was great making it a great place. The restaurant setting was also nice.
Just an amazing, wonderful, friendly, haven of people, location, structure, facility. I cannot recommend them more. Just the absolte best.
A great place to stay. however, we have a complaint with regards to the diner we had. We ordered the sirloin steak (55 euro/kg). We clearly stated that we would like 200 grams each maximum. The waitress told us it was sufficient for both. When the dish arrived it was a T-bone steak with much too much meat. We could not possibly eat it all. It turned cold during diner because of the quantity. The...
Great place to stay. Rooms are very clean. Such a beautiful setting in the nature of Umbria. Restaurant served delicious food. Antonio was our waiter, he gave excellent suggestions and served us well. The 2016 Montefalco Sagrantino La Carraia wine he reccomended was exquisite! Grazie Antonio! 🍷

Great location and comfortable beds. Very helpful staff and really enjoyed our stay there. Would recommend if going to perugia.
8 night break in Perugia Very comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Everything in the city was within walking distance and escalators and Mini metro provide easy links to buses and trains
We loved the Hotel Priori. It was within walking distance of many activities— even a local theater which did music from famous American movies/Briadway shows as well as Italian songs— very special.
except the slow water pressure in the shower , and the small room , the hotel is really wonderfull . the location and the parking is the best !
Amazing dinner, fantastic local wine. Rooms are very nice, clean and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Located within a few steps from the center, can't beat the location.
Two nights in Perugia In the perfect location, and obviously recently renovated, as everything is in excellent condition. The room was a little bit on the small side, but not excessively so, and was fine for a short stay. Breakfast was above average, and with lots of choices.

Incredibly beautiful 18 room hotel (converted from castle) in super picturesque setting. Staff was extra helpful (and English speaking). Included breakfast was very good, dinner was exceptional.
The hotel & grounds were outstanding. Our room was lovely and the pool was perfect in the hot weather. The staff, especially the night staff who served us Negronis as we stared at the stars, were extremely helpful. However, the overall experience did have a small disappointment which tarnished our impression. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary & wanted to eat at the restaurant only to be told...
We had the most amazing time and stay at the Castello and wished we stayed longer! Just to say we actually slept in a real castle is incredible!! The grounds and castle itself was amazing with so much to see. They had a great pool with hot tubs and the view of Peruigia from the pool and deck areas was stunning! The restaurant on property was also top notch and service was excellent.
This was my happy place. Just incredible to stay in a 14th century castle were the Templers lived. Just outside of Perugia. The inside and outside will blow your mind. The breakfast and staff were fabulous. Beautiful views, you name it. It had it all.
It was cute and pretty old castle hotel! I loved their estate and food. The view was beautiful and peaceful. The staff were very nice and helpful. Their pretzel+croissant was my favorite!
Absolutely gorgeous places, and wonderful staff. Still only 4 out of 5, because we suffered both nights a lot from the noise of our neighbors above; sleeping was possible only with ear plugs. We had a panoramic room (i.e., a rather expensive category), and still the noise isolation was almost non-existant. We would happily return, but inquire beforehand about a room with no noise problems.

Friendly and affable staff, near the Policlinico (less than 10 minutes on foot), very close to a pizza restaurant also for celiacs, affordable prices, parking.
Excellent solution near the hospital. Welcoming staff and clean rooms. I practice the restaurant next to the structure that also allows take-away in the room.
I would give 10 stars only for the kindness, availability, of the staff of the structure. Clean and comfortable rooms, air conditioned. advised
Your special event will be a marvel !!

The 2 star hotel rating does not reflect how good this charming well run family hotel is. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. ( special mention for the housekeeping staff always warm and smiling ).The hotel is spotlessly clean. The room was very comfortable (small bathroom) mini fridge is a bonus. In the mornings we opted for the €3 coffee and croissant, which we felt was very good...
Really friendly staff and hotel's location ideal, 10 minutes walk from airlink bus. Had a great room, with terrace and a spectacular view. Quiet area of town and very comfortable beds. Free wi-fi is always a plus. I chose 7 Perugia hotels to email - these guys came back with the most informative email and details of how to get from the airport. Would thoroughly recommend.
We stayed here for the Umbria Jazz Fest. Very very nice small family run hotel. I enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff. Okay location: 15 minutes' walk to the center of the old town. Good restaurant across the street. No A/C. Weather was cooling so I slept with the windows open....mosquitoes. If you drive, parking could be challenging.

Quiet environment, very pleasant location, kind staff, but the road to get to the parking lot is unsightly and dangerous, it would be enough to pave it
I have been going to this business for some time, but I only enjoy the restaurant. The dining room has a huge fireplace equipped with side seating. It is very pleasant, in winter, to dine with the fire behind. The cuisine is simple, typical Umbrian and well prepared. You can also enjoy an excellent pizza. The value for money is good.

Convenient but a bit tired. Convenient for station early check in was helpful, staff efficient and pleasant. Room was rather tired. Several things broken and in need of attention in bathroom. Broken shower door, leaking shower head and cracked shower tray. Loose toilet seat. Suitcase stand also broken.
Upon arrival, I was assigned a room that wasn't tidy. After reporting the problem, I was given a new room that was clean, tidy, and smelled fresh. Unfortunately, however, the new room didn't have hot water for the shower. Fortunately, it was only a one-night stay. Tip: Check the rooms before assigning them.
It's understandable considering the price, but the room wasn't as bright as it looked in the photos. I had to go somewhere else for one night during my stay, so I split my stay into two separate rooms. The first room had Wi-Fi, but the bathroom drainage was poor, and the air conditioning didn't heat it, making it cold at night. The second room had no Wi-Fi at all, which is inconvenient for travelers...
Excellent location. Free parking nearby from night to morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean.
The perfect location. I left Perugia early in the morning and the location of the hotel was just perfect for me. The train station is 100 meters across the street. But this is not the only advantage. The best location in the center of everything. Pearl apartment had everything we needed including a clothes iron and ironing board. Nespresso machine also. Great little terrace with a view. Eva was wonderful, we loved it here.
Perfect in the center of Perugia next to the fountain. Pleasant apartment with a beautiful view. There are several apartments, and the photos don't always match perfectly. The elevator is very slow for reasons of respect for the excavations below, but in fact almost unusable. But the five-story walk is worth the effort.

I stayed at the hotel for six nights (October 14 to October 20) and loved everything about it. It is an excellent hotel with the most pleasant ambiance. The rooms are clean, and the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful (they spent 10 minutes with me to help me change my train ticket; I was very impressed. Two big thumbs up from me!
Interesting hotel with free parking and fantastic breakfast. Surprise was massage chair in the room, that was nice, but worked quite weak. Water in the shower didn't go in the drain well. The room was big. I really recommend hotel Gio - sophisticated decoration connected with wine and music, rooms very nicely arranged. Swimming pool on the roof was a really good entertainment. Close to the historical beautiful city center of Perugia. Personel very professional and helpful. Food was really good and high quality, big choice of Italian dish. The director should organize a meeting soon to straighten out the behavior of certain employees ... especially at the reception! The 4 stars are seen above all by the elegance that you receive
Hotel located in the historic center therefore excellent location. Overall excellent stay very clean room, only flaw for being a 5 star, I would have preferred rooms with better care in the furnishings ... from the bathroom came a bad smell of sewer not at all pleasant! This hotel is in the perfect location in Perugia. It is just at the edge of city center, making everything convenient. Several times during our stay we just took strolls up to the fountain area. Nice and clean hotel in a good location to visit the old town of Perugia. The parking could be more comfortable. I would like to have a coffee maker in the room. There was high tech in the room: wireless charging for the phone, mood lights etc.
Best location not right in town where it’s loud but right outside town where it’s a 5 minute beautiful breath taking views and museum like escalator ride to the main city with great shops. I was moved to this hotel when the hotel I booked was no longer available. (I never did get the reason.) It's a big, beautiful hotel in a wonderful location - very close to the escalator that goes up to the square at the top of the hill, and right next to the bus station.
