Chosen for one night, passing through, given the privileged position at the beginning of the pedestrian area. Extremely far from a four star - the furnishings of the room are truly disheartening - it also has numerous deficiencies in cleanliness, a detail that has nothing to do with the age of the property, perhaps more with excessively distracted management. Its a lovely hotel situated close to main piazza and attractions. Very clean and rooms have an antique decor which we've never been before. Room was very spacious.

Beautiful hotel, large rooms, nice English speaking staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful garden/park, close to Perugia, excellent parking. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed, the bar only opens in the evening and no lunch possibilities. The road to the hotel is bumpy.

Incredibly beautiful 18 room hotel (converted from castle) in super picturesque setting. Staff was extra helpful (and English speaking). Included breakfast was very good, dinner was exceptional.

The hotel & grounds were outstanding. Our room was lovely and the pool was perfect in the hot weather. We had the most amazing time and stay at the Castello and wished we stayed longer! Just to say we actually slept in a real castle is incredible!! The grounds and castle itself was amazing with so much to see. They had a great pool with hot tubs and the view of Peruigia from the pool and deck areas was stunning! The restaurant on property was also top notch and service was excellent.

This was my happy place. Just incredible to stay in a 14th century castle were the Templers lived. Just outside of Perugia. The inside and outside will blow your mind. The breakfast and staff were fabulous. Beautiful views, you name it. It had it all.

Absolutely gorgeous places, and wonderful staff. Still only 4 out of 5, because we suffered both nights a lot from the noise of our neighbors above; sleeping was possible only with ear plugs. We had a panoramic room (i.e., a rather expensive category), and still the noise isolation was almost non-existant. We would happily return, but inquire beforehand about a room with no noise problems.

Friendly and affable staff, near the Policlinico (less than 10 minutes on foot), very close to a pizza restaurant also for celiacs, affordable prices, parking.

Excellent solution near the hospital. Welcoming staff and clean rooms. I practice the restaurant next to the structure that also allows take-away in the room.

Perfect place to stay. The appartment and the whole hotel aren't new and kinda oldschool but it was tidy, cozy, welcomming and located almost in the city center. The best thing about the hotel was the staff who were helpful gave additional advises about the town. They let us eat our own snakcs and wine in their backyard with no concern. Thank you :)

The people are very nice and the reception is so good, but breakfast is limited and there is no variety of dishes, WiFi is week but in general if you are there because you're visiting Perugia, it's a fine place to stay.

The structure is located in an excellent position and surrounded by greenery, very pleasant in the evening. There is also a swimming pool that you can use without a surcharge. The owner and staff are very helpful and kind. However the building is very old and the rooms are poorly maintained. The whole complex would need to be modernized and fixed...

I have been going to this business for some time, but I only enjoy the restaurant. The dining room has a huge fireplace equipped with side seating. It is very pleasant, in winter, to dine with the fire behind. The cuisine is simple, typical Umbrian and well prepared. You can also enjoy an excellent pizza. The value for money is good.

If all 3 star hotels were like this 2 star hotel, traveling would be great. Clean, comfortable, and very nice service. I am pleasantly surprised.

The best location in the center of everything. Pearl apartment had everything we needed including a clothes iron and ironing board. Nespresso machine also. Great little terrace with a view. Eva was wonderful, we loved it here.

Perfect in the center of Perugia next to the fountain. Pleasant apartment with a beautiful view. There are several apartments, and the photos don't always match perfectly. The elevator is very slow for reasons of respect for the excavations below, but in fact almost unusable. But the five-story walk is worth the effort.

Nothing just is very close at the Train station it is mix with some shops so watch well you will see the entrance but i will suggest that the make a big sign board that will help people that are new at the evronment to easily locate the hotel and let them inform people when they are open or closed so that one would feel disappointed hoping to lodge without knowing that they are not working. I stayed one night here due to 'a sudden train strike'. As shown, it is a very old hotel having old bed/mattress, but it isn't dirty at all. Well cleaned, no bugs. If you are okay with soft-mattress(because of old mattress) this one is good enough to spend your day with very much affordable price! And the staff is very kind and breakfasts served so early. I would want to recommand this!

I stayed at the hotel for six nights (October 14 to October 20) and loved everything about it. It is an excellent hotel with the most pleasant ambiance. I really recommend hotel Gio - sophisticated decoration connected with wine and music, rooms very nicely arranged. Swimming pool on the roof was a really good entertainment. Nice place for cyclists visiting Perugia. No problem parking the bicycles in one meeting room for the night. Swimming pool at rooftop is good to refresh, before taking the minimetrò to the centre. Walk to the metro is not so nice along big roads.

Perugia is wonderful. This hotel is central to town and has restaurants and grocery within 200 meters.

We liked the room was very clean and warm enough for the period of time when we visited, it had nice surroundings, the staff was great and treated us nicely even though we arrived later than expected. We also had a breakfast included which was delicious, rich and diverse.

You can’t beat this place for location, cleanliness and price. And a big plus is the reception guy is also the barista who makes amazing coffees at all hours. Parking available so great place for a one or 2 nights stay.

Nice staff , clean and quiet rooms .The location is impractical though.If u come with public transport u have to take a 15min walk over a street where people do not care how they drive.Also you won’t be able to join nearby restaurants by foot, google maps gives you paths that are not walkable.

Great place to stay and exceeded expectations This is a clean and modern hotel. Unlike many Best Westerns in the US, this had the level of class and quality of a Marriot or Hilton.
