The director should organize a meeting soon to straighten out the behavior of certain employees ... especially at the reception!
The 4 stars are seen above all by the elegance that you receive

Hotel located in the historic center therefore excellent location. Overall excellent stay very clean room, only flaw for being a 5 star, I would have preferred rooms with better care in the furnishings ... from the bathroom came a bad smell of sewer not at all pleasant! The small but pleasant spa they should add more seats in the pool area and change the tone of the lights, in my opinion too cold ... they do not instill a feeling of relaxation ... exceptional breakfast.

This hotel is in the perfect location in Perugia. It is just at the edge of city center, making everything convenient. Several times during our stay we just took strolls up to the fountain area. Perugia itself as a tourist area didn’t seem like much at all. We used it as out base for touring the area but if we were to do it again we would not stay in that city. The hotel rooms are large and the beds comfortable. Everything was quiet because it is at the edge of the old city center, which is great. What this hotel desperately needs is a sprucing up. The carpet in our room was very worn and spotted. The couch and chair felt and looked like they had not been replaced in 30 years or more. So, you always had a feeling of mustiness. The air conditioning worked good enough for an old hotel, but had to be pumped on high at all times. Our room came with a breakfast buffet which was very good. If we ever returned to Perugia, we would likely still stay here, but know it is average and comfortable and safe, but nothing beyond that. One really cool item is the basement pool area build in ruins.

It was brilliant, great location, great service. Breakfast was to die for, spaghetti was best i have tasted anywhere in the world and the pool is brilliant

Pros:
Great location at the end of the main pedestrian walking street and opposite the Rocco Paolina. Hotel has amazing views, very friendly breakfast staff, attentive concierges who take the car to and from the garage efficiently. Rooms nice. Bed very comfortable. Stayed in room 234.

Cons:
Breakfast offering was pretty good but some of the 'hot food' was cold by 8am so not very desirable. Shower over bath and it's a tall bath, so lucky I have long legs. Short people or the elderly stand no chance of climbing into bath. The hotel is quite dated and needs to be renovated but it is still nice.

Hotel Sina Brufani is a five-star hotel in the thousand-year-old ancient city of Perugia, Italy. It is located in the center of the old city and has an absolutely superb environment! Especially on the third floor terrace, various hand-painted tabletops are colorful! Looking around, the old and new urban areas have clear outlines. In the morning, the lingering sound of church bells in the mountains and at the foot of the mountains makes people feel calm and cool. Occasionally, there is the faint sound of the organ, which can't help but make people fascinated...
However, as guests of the Perugia International Music Festival, young Steinway artists and their families, they are very, very dissatisfied with the "hidden neglect" of the staff of this hotel towards Chinese (Oriental people)! As a Ctrip diamond customer, I personally strongly recommend that Ctrip take measures that do not recommend or encourage Chinese people to be humiliated to safeguard the dignity of the Chinese people!
First of all, the middle-aged and elderly female head waiter in the breakfast room always asks for the room number every morning when facing Oriental faces (including Korean and Japanese tourists attending the music festival), and she never takes a seat! However, for the Western white people who entered the hall at the same time or later, they not only did not ask for their room number, but also showed them to their seats in person. The contrast was huge! I have traveled abroad hundreds of times for business and private purposes since 1998. I flew to Europe with a platinum card and dozens of times. This is the first time I have experienced an indescribable kind of neglect and even implicit discrimination in an underdeveloped G7 mountain town! Coincidentally, before leaving Perugia, we wanted to have a dinner with friends who are piano professors from Europe and the United States. We went to the open-air bar on the first floor to find a table. We asked the female clerk if there was a table by the window. When we found out that no one had reserved it, we made a reservation for the evening, and a male bartender joined us. I asked for the room number before and was told that I couldn’t reserve a table by the window? I said: The female clerk said that there was no reservation for that table, and besides, we were also hotel guests, but the male clerk was very "stubborn" and said that we couldn't make a reservation! I said to pay the advance payment first, but the male clerk waved his hand and refused! To be honest, this kind of service attitude is no longer a matter of mutual respect! This old hotel is old, but it treats customers so badly. I think it is an unreasonable neglect of Chinese tourists! Because our faces are Oriental, Chinese, because we are not white travelers who look “noble”? ! (If we come to Perugia next year, we will never look at these hotels that are unreasonable to Chinese people. By the way, a group of us later went to a local Michelin restaurant, which was very fun...)

Old-fashioned hotel in an excellent location. Most of the old-fashioned elements I enjoyed: good service, multiple staff members, traditional room with comfortable bed and pillows; but there were some things which could do with updating: a lack of sun beds, no roof terrace to speak of, air conditioning which wouldn’t turn off.

The air conditioning point was particularly irritating as our room (120) was freezing and we would have preferred to have our windows open. The AC would turn off for 5 minutes or so but always then turn back on again.

Broadly speaking, this is a pleasant hotel which we enjoyed although it could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Our senior university group from Madrid stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of May. Attractive hotel in an excellent location within easy walking distance of everything in the upper town and right next to the escalators which take you through the incredible Rocca Paulina to the lower part of town.

Extensive buffet breakfast; comfortable beds; very helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel. My only criticism: the high sided bath and the need for non-slip material underfoot. A walk-in shower would be a lot more practical. They also had issues with the heating and airco which appeared to be controlled centrally and not on the individual thermostats.

Centrally located 5 star hotel in a historic building. I stayed here for two nights as recommended by a friend but frankly I thought the overall maintenance and quality of service were that of a 4 star hotel. Except an elderly receptionist, all other front desk staff were very matter of fact but the breakfast staff and food were great. The room itself showed signs of decay and to me it did not measure up to the Sina standards. The concierge service was poor. Expected more from this brand!
