A place that is hard to get to, there are winding roads here. The whole house in the old style with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and additional room. Great view of the area and a nice place to stop on the way. All houses built on different levels, to which you have to enter countless steps. The charm of bygone times and the atmosphere of a romantic novel.

The house is very welcoming and very clean. The owner is very nice and helpful. In addition, various food products are available to customers for breakfast.

Very pretty house with a garden overlooking the sea in Pieve Alta. Very quiet place where you find peace and silence and you can enjoy the view of the sea from the moment you wake up. Very nice and kind mistress. There have already come twice and definitely come back.

The hotel was along the main road, and so it was easy to find. It's about a ten-minute walk from the town center. We were quite lucky that there was a spot in the hotel parking area. The hotel staff were quite helpful and accommodating.

The place is easy to find and provides parking as well as reasonable accomodation (talking about family room here which was ok, but not great). There is nothing wrong with the place, but also nothing great. :)

A bit far from the Recco city center, but near to a nice local rocky beach, with a good bar. The hotel itself is average, rooms are air conditioned and the breakfast is fair.

Upon arrival the reception staff were very friendly and parking was abundant. We had a little walk along the promenade access via a gate at the bottom of the grounds, the cliff top view was incredible. Beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning position on the Ligurian Riviera and well positioned between Genoa City and the lovely towns of Portofino and Santa Margarita. Quiet, refined and tastefully decorated. And the staff are wonderful! Very helpful as well as warm and friendly.

Loving it here, we have a room with a large balcony with stunning views of the town and the sea, the staff are friendly and very helpful, the room is a little basic, but comfortable and the breakfast really is amazing! It's also in a perfect position to explore the coast, we walked to Camogli which is beautiful, then took the train to Santa margarita, and bus back to Recco

The hotel staff were friendly and could speak good English. The location of the hotel is perfect, near the beach and near the city. Beautiful surroundings, the breakfast was perfect, a lot of choice. A nice small hotel located in a chicy neighborhood of Genova. Excellent location, quiet but close to Genova and the train station! I stayed for a weekend with a group of friends. Basic rooms but very clean. Bed ok. Nice view over the neighbouring villas and partial sea view from the balcony. Great position close to clubs and restaurants. There are 2 chargers for electric vehicles. The young ladies at the reception and the waitresses were very kind.

Schönes Hotel in idealer Lage beim Bahnhof Nervi, ausserhalb von Genua, gutes Frühstück aber furchtbares Abendessen. Wir hatten leider Halbpension gebucht. Es gab jedesmal gekochtes, aufgewärmtes Schnitzel, zerkochtes Gemüse und Bratkartoffel dazu. Nachspeise Obst oder trockener Kuchen. Es gibt nur ein Menu, keine Auswahl. Hund ist im Speisesaal absolut verboten!

Lovely hotel just off the autostrada... A bit dated but very quiet and in beautiful surroundings. The fitness center is not really much...but they do have some free weights.

Really nice place to stay, the view is amazing. The house has a pool outside with view. The apartament was really beautiful and clean. The breakfast is very good, homemade cakes, foccacia, etc. The only con is, the house is in the mountain, and the only way you can get there is by car or by taxi (20 euros), any bus is going up there, or you can walk up and down stairs for 10 minutes to the downtown...

My wife and I were here in June 2017 and were completely blown away. Exceeded our expectations, the room, view service and the food served at the Casa Balin. The owner of Casa Balin and his mom were wonderful! Looking forward to our stay in June 2018 especially now that the pool is done.

One of the most incredible places I have ever stayed at. The views are magnificient! The place clean, renovated and beautifully finished. Valter the owner is friendly, warm hearted and funny. I can't recommend Casa Balin enough. I would stay here again.

Super nice stay! It's 5mins drive uphill from the Recco town and the reward is a B&B made with care to the detail. Magnificent sea view, quality material interior and most important genuine friendly people. They also make some homemade cake for the breakfast. Loved it!

I was there for 3 days and 2 nights. The breakfast is awesome. There were a lot of selection for breakfast. Must try the cakes! The cakes weren't too sweet, just a nice. Dinner there is also good. Would totally recommend to have dinner there instead of restaurant outside. The room is also nice and clean. It has a nice wall colour and ambiance. Would definitely stay there again :))

I just loved this place. Grand old style but run down in keeping with the area. Very clean Rooms that were large with very high ceilings. Bathroom a little small but adequate. The family running it are very nice people and very helpful. Breakfast was super fresh and deliscious. Interesting coastal city to explore. The hotel is on what appears a large bit of land compared to the other buildings...

The owner is a worm and considerate person who will immediately make you feel at home. Rooms are nice and cosy, they have separate entrance. 3,5 km from the B&B you have a beach and last but not least Recco's famous focaccia col formaggio.
