Take the boat to get there - it's a bit of a hike if going by car/foot. The views and location are amazing though. Great friendly staff as well.

The stay was very good, as the view and the house's placement was excellent. The service was fine, but it could be better. Food wise, my stay was excellent, as the restaurant had a wide range of well cooked food.

Had a lovely stay at La Camogliese hotel. The hotel is located right next to the beach and easy to reach from the train station. The rooms are clean and have nautical themes. The reception and staff were very helpful and made a special gesture to mark a special occasion that occurred while I was there. Grazie!

Loving it here, we have a room with a large balcony with stunning views of the town and the sea, the staff are friendly and very helpful, the room is a little basic, but comfortable and the breakfast really is amazing! The hotel staff were friendly and could speak good English. The location of the hotel is perfect, near the beach and near the city. Beautiful surroundings, the breakfast was perfect, a lot of choice. The location is a feature that makes this place worth an experience: a wide view of Santa Margherita Ligure and the Tigullio Gulf. The service is very efficient and courteous. The gastronomic preparations are made with raw materials of the highest quality and in compositions with brilliant notes of originality.

This is not per se a luxury hotel. But it is really comfortable and the luxury is with the spectacular view, the great service and the intimacy. It feels like being in a private home very nicely renovated. The pools are fantastic and heated. The garden is great.

I just came back from a 2 night stay at this holiday and it was amazing. We have stayed at Hotel Jolanda many times over the past 14 years. We continue to come back because we like that it is a boutique hotel and in a very convenient location. Our room showed serious sign of wear and tear Our sink faucet was replaced with a bidet faucet which would splash everywhere when opened. The hallway carpet are beyond cleaning and need to be removed. But the location is very good

The hotel was average with basic rooms and sadly the service wasn’t up to scratch. There were too many “no” to things we asked about. In particular the lady at reception can be quite rude and abrupt. On the plus side the staff at breakfast were super friendly.

Overall a solid place to stay, yet very overpriced. Big plus for spacios bathrooms and the engaged staff. Regarding the beds I can assure you from travel experience in 3rd world countries: These DO NOT come short in giving you a 3rd world experience. North Korea provides better beds, without a doubt. Even in the Swiss military I've had more comfortable beds, it was a shame.

This hotel is fine, but I’m not sure it warrants 5*. On our first night we were given a room with no shower (!) which seems a bit unusual for a hotel of this standard. After complaining the staff kindly offered to change us to another room at no incremental charge, but I think this is very unusual for a 5* (and certainly should have been communicated more clearly on the website to avoid the unpleasant...

This hotel offers a perfect location for a visit to Santa Margherita and Portofino. The dock is in easy walking distance for a boat trip to Portofino, and there is also a train station within and easy walk. Lots of restaurants are nearby as well. The hotel is very nice, and the staff is excellent!

Hotel with modern rooms in the center of Santa Margherita. For a 5 star I would have expected evening turndown and breakfast with more choice and more quality products. Hotel does not have a garage: we booked parking but our car was parked on the street in front of the hotel.

Comfortable and convenient location. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was included which was a plus. We also had a view of the beachfront from our room. Only downside was that the WiFi was slow at times and water was not provided in the rooms although this can be purchased from nearby stores for cheap prices.

Faultless experience! This beautiful hotel has the best views of Santa Margherita and Portfino. Our suite with balcony and sea views was spacious and beautifully decorated with 2 bathrooms and a separate sitting room. The staff were excellent and breakfast on the terrace was stunning. For 4 days in May 2025 it felt like a fairytale in a palace.

It has an amazing garden and is right next to the sea. The concierge is very helpful and helps you organise activities. The rooms are well equipped and the beds are very comfortable, and some of the rooms have a wonderful sea side view. The one problem is the WiFi was quite slow so if you’re planning to do work in your hotel room, note that you may need to use a private connection. But other than that...
