Great hotel food is excellent only problem is its a bit of a clamber to get on the ski slope but would stay again, photo shows view from ground floor room

Friendly family run 3star hotel. Clean and tidy but needing a little investment. If your skiing or walking and want a no frills accommodation this is lovely. Super food with a 4 course options.

Really enjoyed this place. A bit dated but the staff are really nice and helpful. The bar closes at 9pm. They are generous with their 4x4 to move baggage around, you will need it. They could clear the path of snow, it's an idea.

This place is the best hotel in Pila in the winter in my opinion but the staff don't have the best English yet still it's much better than my Italian I must admit. The view from the sitting area is truly astonishing showing many of the other mountains. It is positioned with great convenience to the slopes and to the shops.

Very friendly staff, good and plentiful food ( buffet breakfast, 4 course dinner). Clean and tidy room with decent sized bathroom and comfortable beds. Situated a stonethrow from bubble, also ski in/ski out, makes it possible to ski from 'dawn to dusk'. Will come here again!

Great location, very friendly and obliging staff, generous meals, nice steam and sauna facilities, good lounge/bar. Thin walls so can be noisy if you have loud neighbours. I would stay here again though I would bring a kettle!

Excellent staff, who couldn't have been more helpful and professional. Really good food, with a wide choice, all of a good standard. Excellent location with a pleasant, relaxed evening atmosphere. I'm unsure now why I didn't give it maximum stars ? So I've gone back and changed it.

Fantastic hotel. Warm welcome. Staff are so helpful and nice. Owner Mario is a wonderful host and I can't wait to return. Food very good - superb quality and variety as was wine and great bar service too. Rooms spotlessly clean. Pool and sauna clean and a wonderful place to unwind and ski in/out right beside cable cars to Aosta and ski chairlift. Paradise! We will be back!

Lovely lounge area, very homely Lovely lounge area and staff were very friendly. Nice spa area which is FOC before 4pm. Room was a bit small, not to well insulated and dark but lovely views and WiFi was very good for a hotel

First time in Pila (and first time skiing for 20 years). Booked this lovely hotel for family holiday and only have good things to say. Staff are very friendly (and work very hard!) and look after you well. We were able to book our ski & boot hire via the hotel and they were ready and waiting for us in the hotel boot room and the skis a 5 min walk away in the hill in the locker. Evenings were delightful...

1 week for 3 in a family room. Easy check in, clean room, good temp control system and nice shower room. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice. Evening food was good too - massive portions. We hired skis through the hotel which was easy and good value - all ready for us in the boot room, we also got our lift passes from the hotel - so easy. Excellent hotel. Rooms are a good size and clean. The food is delicious with generous portions. Close to the pistes (7-10 minute walk). Natacia and JP and the team really make an effort to look after you. I have been 4 times and likely to continue to be an annual trip.

The location is great. The staff was fantastic. The girls and boys of the miniclub, Dalila, Ludovica, Denise, Giovanni, Simone and Lele are extremely nice and friendly. Even though the hotel might need some renovation in the common area, they all made us feel very welcome and did a great job with the kids, the karaoke entertainment, and the theatre shows. A very neat and clean, small family-run hotel on a mountainside with a beautiful view over Aosta. Very laid back and relaxed. The hotel is very modern and stylish on the inside and the breakfast is also very good. I would only recommend staying if you have a car.

I didn't stay in the hotel, if that's an option. We ate in the restaurant, which had delicious food. It was really loud, though; it was hard for me to follow conversations in the atmosphere. But the food was nice! Standard traditional Italian fare.

Very helpful and friendly staff always ready to satisfy their clients' needs. Few minutes walk from Aosta centre. I definitely recommend a stay at Hotel Miage and look forward to come again soon.

Good traditional hotel with nice gardens. Good sized rooms. Air conditioned. Free parking.

Big rooms, all of them have balcony with great view on Aosta and the mountains around. Very close to the lift for Pila to go to ski. Breakfast is not that big but it’s good enough. Andrea from the staff was very friendly and gave advice on where to go for dinner and ski rental. The hotel is not meant for skiers but it worked fine for us.

A pleasant family run hotel, that has a swimming pool and rooms which are semicircular due the whole building being circular. The decor is dated but the staff are friendly. We went as part of ski party and found the food at times great but then cold with some strange menu items.

Very nice place with a nice view of the Alpes. Very cozy rooms, super clean. The breakfast was a little bit simple but very useful.

I am really not sure about what to say about this place. My room was average. I liked the fact that there was a bath in my room, and I used it twice. The lavatory was OK, but the door would only stay shut if you actually locked it. The shower was poor and needed replacing. The food was questionable. The pasta and lasagne were glorious. Dinner was ever so slightly above average. Breakfast was very poor...

Nice enough, nothing special. Family run, with good views of the Aosta Valley and a nice roof top terrace but it is far from any local facilities apart from a good pizzeria next door, so a car would be advisable. (There is a decent sized free car park). Has a good swimming pool. Rooms are OK, shower very weak, beds nice and firm. There is a Bar downstairs but the hours seemed variable. Food was ok

I really loved the design, and the location is just amazing. You have the railway station close by and the ice cream shop if you want to go and get an ice cream. Unfortunately the food was a bit cold but the cake was ok. The room was nice even tho the TV was small it worked very well and it had good graphics. The service was ok not the best but ok. When I arrived after a long difficult train journey a member of the staff was rude to me at check in, making comments about my belly. When I asked about an elevator I was told there was none and I could use the stairs to work off some weight. Who says that to a paying customer? I stayed there for just one night, the room is very clear, the bathroom very spacious. The view from the hotel leaves you out speechless. I'm giving just three stars instead of five because the staff (except a person) was not so kindly with us three. They offer the storage of your luggages for free also during the day you have to leave.

Great hotel in a fantastic location! Charming hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms were quite large for a European hotel. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean. Steps away from the main plaza and several outstanding restaurants only minutes away walking. I will definitely come back to Aosta and stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Had a fantastic stay, nice small hotel right in the town centre, very convenient.

Although this hotel doesn’t have it’s own parking space, yet the 6euro parking lots nearby are a perfect option, it makes us like local and it mean so much to us just being fewer days to live like a local. Breakfast buffet were a good option if you want get on you outing sooner. We very happy with our stay.

When I booked the hotel at ******* I paid a supplement for breakfast, but when I checked in I was told that breakfast was not included and had to pay extra for it.

A lovely hotel close to the centre. Beautiful room with a view on the mountains, very comfortable and clean. The staff makes a difference: extremely kind, helpful, they make you feel really welcome! They also have a garage.

Nice hotel in the middle of Atosa. Nice spacious bedroom, good breakfast. Limited reserved parking, no charging for EVs. However you can park on the street at your own risk or there’s a garage about 2 blocks away.

More like a 3 star hotel. Carefull, gym and outdoor pool closed in September 24. Hot tub and finish sauna do not work. The indoor swimming pool and staff are nice. Would be worth approximately 75e/night in my opinion.

Good hotel, worthy of 3 stars, wifi doesn't work in some areas, as it is a large building full of walls, the TV doesn't work on the channels, the outdoor pool area is very good, good breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel on our arranged holiday with interski. The friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us and our children from the minute we arrived. Friendly staff Arrived late, was told to park in a public car park opposite the hotel. Not ideal. Car park turned out to be full. Then was told they actually had private parking but was 100m away. Took 30 minutes to sort, again not ideal late at night after driving a long way. Apart from this, the staff were nice and helpful. The mattress was extremely firm, and only two pillows on a double bed...

Room was spacious and warm, beds were comfortable. We could unload and load the car in the courtyard at the bottom of the stairs; the car had to be parked across the road in a public car park which importantly had 2 electric car charging points. Breakfast (included in room rate) was typically Italian - and good for it.

We have stayed at the Residence Chateau on our trip to southern Italy. It is very quick to get to from the A5 motorway, love rooms and great choice of breakfast, when ever we are on this route it is always our No1 over night stop. thank you

I walked in at 8 at night with no reservation. Was given a lovely double room and access to the garage to store my motorbike for 90 euros total. Had a great steak dinner in the restaurant, maybe a tiny bit overpriced, but very good and left happy the next morning.

Stayed at the Hotel Express Aosta during a ski holiday at the end of the 2025 season. The rooms were excellent for the price and serviced daily.
