The reasons I gave 3 instead of 4 are: 1. the pre-arrival experience as it was absolutely impossible to get in touch with the hotel and not possible to get any information about the stay, the services etc.. 2. Also time of check-in lasted 1h as not enough receptionists were on site and gave us wrong information about where to park and how to reach the right parking (imagine how fun that it was after...

We stayed for 6 nights over UK half term week and it was about £1500. We were told our kids were about the only ones in the hotel...so the kids club wasn't supposed to run but told to ask the "entertainment" people in the morning which was helpful. We did see the kids club people in the morning and they said to bring the kids at 3pm which didn't seem like ideal timing given their lesson ends at 1pm...

Wifi Internet was not existent in the rooms, in the lobby was poor. Not possible to do anything. Kept disconnecting. Mobile internet ( 5G) was poor also. Not possible event to call no one. It is the staff at Club Esse that make this place so special. They are incredibly warm, attentive and helpful. It's right in the resort so you can practically ski to the door. It's not the newest but everything was kept very clean. The dinner was a buffet, with a choice of fresh anti pasta, two choices of pasta and two choices of meat for main. First time in Pila (and first time skiing for 20 years). Booked this lovely hotel for family holiday and only have good things to say. Staff are very friendly (and work very hard!) and look after you well. We were able to book our ski & boot hire via the hotel and they were ready and waiting for us in the hotel boot room and the skis a 5 min walk away in the hill in the locker. Really enjoyed this place. A bit dated but the staff are really nice and helpful. The bar closes at 9pm. They are generous with their 4x4 to move baggage around, you will need it. They could clear the path of snow, it's an idea.

This place is the best hotel in Pila in the winter in my opinion but the staff don't have the best English yet still it's much better than my Italian I must admit. The view from the sitting area is truly astonishing showing many of the other mountains. It is positioned with great convenience to the slopes and to the shops.

Very friendly staff, good and plentiful food ( buffet breakfast, 4 course dinner). Clean and tidy room with decent sized bathroom and comfortable beds. Situated a stonethrow from bubble, also ski in/ski out, makes it possible to ski from 'dawn to dusk'. Will come here again!

Great location, very friendly and obliging staff, generous meals, nice steam and sauna facilities, good lounge/bar. Thin walls so can be noisy if you have loud neighbours. I would stay here again though I would bring a kettle!

Fantastic hotel. Warm welcome. Staff are so helpful and nice. Owner Mario is a wonderful host and I can't wait to return. Food very good - superb quality and variety as was wine and great bar service too. Rooms spotlessly clean. Pool and sauna clean and a wonderful place to unwind and ski in/out right beside cable cars to Aosta and ski chairlift. Paradise! We will be back!

I found this Hotel by accident and I have been impressed by the rating and the positive reviews on booking. I must admit that the place is simply wonderful, as all the other guests said. Wonderful view on monte Rosa and Monte Bianco, excellent food, breakfast and dinner. Beautiful, comfortable, clean rooms. The staff, a local family is so kind and thoughful. I truly recommend it

Great hotel with nice and friendly staff that is keen to help you feel welcome. Good food with fair prices in the restaurant. The breakfast is nice and you are offered fresh coffee. The only complaints are the horrible beds and the responsive rooms.

we stayed at the hotel last week and it was great. Nice rooms which are cleaned very good every day. A perfect location with a great view on the mountains. A nice cosy restaurant with great food and with new things on the menu every day. And most of all very friendly people who are very helpful and very flexible. My favourite Val d'Aosta B&B. Lovely people, lovely room, perfect location.

We were looking for a place to eat during the European downhill cup. The staff was smiling and pleasant. We had a surprisingly good Soupe Valpeline. Thus we came back the say after to get our breakfast. The dining room is mica and has a stunning view on Cervin and Mont Rose.

A bit basic and the toilet is, for the British at least, horrendous as it's a hole in the ground! No civilised people should have to use one of those any more. That said, the food is good, especially the burgers and the staff are friendly.

We stay here regularly on our travels. It’s convenient for the Autostrade, dog-friendly and has a nice garden. The restaurant is not usually open for guests. Clean with friendly staff. Parking is available and it has views of the Alps.

We had a great stop over here and the concierge was super helpful. We were pretty frazzled at the end of a long drive from UK towing our bike and this was just what we needed. Bonus room at the top with the stunning view. I note the other reviews, but this was not our experience. Everything was clean and the buffet breakfast was good.

Great view from the room balcony, clean room and kind staff. Very limited breakfast, no choice, stale bread and quite boring with the same stuff offered every single day. If they do upgrade a bit, it makes it a much more pleasant stay.

A pleasant family run hotel, that has a swimming pool and rooms which are semicircular due the whole building being circular. The decor is dated but the staff are friendly. We went as part of ski party and found the food at times great but then cold with some strange menu items.

I am really not sure about what to say about this place. My room was average. I liked the fact that there was a bath in my room, and I used it twice. The lavatory was OK, but the door would only stay shut if you actually locked it. The shower was poor and needed replacing. The food was questionable. The pasta and lasagne were glorious. Nice enough, nothing special. Family run, with good views of the Aosta Valley and a nice roof top terrace but it is far from any local facilities apart from a good pizzeria next door, so a car would be advisable. (There is a decent sized free car park). Has a good swimming pool. Rooms are OK, shower very weak, beds nice and firm. There is a Bar downstairs but the hours seemed variable. Food was ok

This is a family run hotel, with unique decoration, including hand-wrought ironwork and 1970 tiles. Every detail for the guests' comfort has been thought of, and carefully carried out. The owners are charming and the terrace and individual balconies outside of most rooms give you a wonderful view of the mountains. I'll be going back!

We spent one night in this hotel in May, on our return from Ticino. The room was spacious, clean and quiet (located at the back). The welcoming and very nice boss...he spoke French with us, because none of us spoke Italian. We were able to add the breakfast that we had not ordered when booking... Very satisfied with the stay in this hotel.

Hotel 700 meters from the center of Aosta. Quiet area with ample free parking. The hotel is nice for a 3 star in terms of breakfast service I would give it a 4 star. The nice, welcoming rooms. If I have to make a note, the room is too hot. And the pillows are the sore point... they are either too low and not very comfortable or very hard. Without that comfort, the rest is very good.

Nice, simple hotel with friendly staff

The rooms, while dated, were comfortable and extremely warm, which was great in the cold of February. The staff were very kind and trustworthy, keeping the rooms very tidy every day.

A wonderful 4 night stay, Adriana and the staff were so kind after my bicycle accident. The location is great, the rooms are comfortable, the wifi was good and the evening meals delicious. Supermarkets nearby and a 10 minute walk into centre. The price is very reasonable for Aosta, would happily stay again.

First of all, location is unbeatable to visit the city. Room has that Chalet look. But have to say it was clean. My room was the 1st one entering the building but did not have problem with noise from people passing. Host have good communication through WhatsApp. I would use again if I have to.

We are a group of 10 staying in Aosta for a 3 day mountain biking adventure. Le Reve Charmant was top notch. Cozy and Comfortable lobby and living area. The rooms are well appointed with all potential needs met. The Le Reve Charmant is in a great location with easying walking but quiet at night. We highly recommend for any kind of stay.

We had been on a road trip through europe - after having sern now more than 15 hotels we did vote the Reve Charmant to be the best hotel on our trip.

I have traveled a lot but I must say that the kindness of the owner and the meticulous care and attention given to every detail inside and outside the structure is beyond excellent! Mr. Antonio has reserved a private parking for us a stone's throw from the chicken coop not to mention all the accessories in the room even the hair straightener ... the chicken coop and the owner are magnificent

We stayed for the Christmas markets, we were very satisfied with the welcome received from the owners, kind and helpful, the accommodation very well cared for down to the smallest details, excellent.

Everything really perfect, personal garage just outside the ZTL, breakfast in affiliated bars more than abundant and excellent, wonderful room, unimaginable services. Highly recommended!
