We booked very last minute after a failed VRBO. I’m surprised we got in. Really friendly staff and the restaurant wonderful. Breakfast was typical Italian but included. Close to Poppi and if it had a pool we could stay for weeks…

Beautiful view on Poppi Castle. Very friendly staff, good food for very reasonable prices. Great pizzas! Compared to 2 years ago some items were taken off the menu, that’s unfortunate. But I can recommend it!

Excellent restaurant and hotel, just outside Poppi. It offers an excellent view of the hill, at night the illuminated castle gives magic and peace. It is possible to eat outside, and in the summer evening there is live music. Typical cuisine and good pizza, good choice of wines. I recommend for a relaxing evening... an excellent "Fiorentina" and a good local wine.

We stayed here for one night. Lovely people. Our room cosy. The restaurant menu us extensive and the food is so full of flavour. It is a very peaceful place. We loved it.

Very close to the castle of Poppi and one of the main squares, with a super nice bar. Great view of the surrounding area and the Tuscan mountains. We had dinner there, in the garden, and the food was amazing.

We went for one night and stayed for 8! The owners were lovely, the accomodations were comfortable and the whole experience was great.

Tasty food. The restaurant offers varied dishes from the Italian cuisine. We liked the pasta with ragu and the beef slices with rosemary.

We were given the smallest n darkest room possible. Had to ask to change the rooms. But was only one room can be changed out of 2 we asked for. Resturant food was not good. They had a party at the same time. All attention were diverted. Our dishes were cold. Location was perfect. Opposite poppi Castle.

Room was small but comfy and very, very clean. View was absolutely lovely, furniture has an old timey feel to it which I very much enjoyed. Do not expect fancy, new stuff, this is an old building with its own charm and quite rustic, nevertheless the bathrooms are fully equipped and spotless. Did I mention how clean it was? Very clean. Did the booking on a whim as the place I was recommended did not...

The staff were exceptionally friendly and had great suggestions for local cuisine. The pool area was serene, the location was quiet and picturesque and the room was spotless when we arrived.

Really enjoyed my stay at Parc Hotel, staff was most helpful and amiable, they make you feel welcome. The food at the restaurant is great! Pizza is one of the best ever had in Italy!

I was struck by the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Very kind and helpful staff. Nice view. Just a few flaws: it lacks private parking, fridge and air conditioning. For the rest, a charming little hotel, unpretentious, but welcoming. Good morning breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel October 2023 for two weeks. We got a room with a spectacular view of the valley.. and a short walk to the Popi castle which was amazing. The hotel staff were courteous and friendly. I can’t complain about the breakfast, it was simple and filling. We look forward to our next visit.

The receptionists were just wonderful, arranged for a driver to pick me up from the station and take me back the next day (I had to pay as I'd expected), they let me check in early and stay till the driver collected me, the breakfast was great, the room was spacious and comfortable, hot shower, beautiful view.

Crazy location immersed in the hills and surrounded by nature. We spent a weekend with friends and we had a really good time, thanks also to the owners who hosted us and proved to be wonderful people. The structure is really complete with everything and nothing is left to chance from the professional kitchen to a beautiful brick barbecue. Really unique :-)

The house is situated on a hill with a nice view and a beautiful and clean swimming pool. The house can be rented as a whole or an apartment (2). Very kind owner. The great advantage is peace and quiet and the charming town of Poppi located a few kilometers from the house.

Stayed 2 nights just outside Poppi. Its a beautiful location: quite, private and with a great view. You need a car to get around the wider area as it's a 45 minute walk to the town. The host does provide bikes and they're great for nipping around when the weather is good!

Very idyllic place where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle. Alma and Uwe are attentive hosts and varied with delicious food. The rooms are a house from the 16th Century according to simple, but lovingly furnished. Recommended by us!

Wonderful place for groups, the old country house has a distinctive flair. Fantastic location overlooking Poppi, the castle and the surrounding hills. The associated lake a minute from the house invites you to swim. And Alma and Uwe do everything to make their guests feel good. Will definitely come back.

A jewel surrounded by nature. Very nice renovated farmhouse that can accommodate single people or groups. A seminar / dance / music room, a group kitchen, a spacious garden and a private pond make it a very pleasant place. The couple managing the place is very friendly. Dream holidays!

The historic building, the wild nature and the loving care by Alma and Uwe make the Casa Purgatorio a very special place, to which I return again and again for many years. Here you can really switch off and leave everyday life behind. The property is particularly suitable for groups, seminars, workshops, etc.

Very nice apartments with Mediterranean ambience just typical Tuscany! Very nice old house with several apartments of different finishes. Had a full kitchen with microwave , stove , washing machine , coffee maker and seating for two people . A bedroom with double bed , TV and closet . Plus a very nice large bathroom with shower and BD. Simply fantastically beautiful and perfectly adequate for two....

Excellent B&B practically a luxury apartment complete with every comfort. A buzz. In addition they also have a restaurant under the apartment where you can eat great. Wonderful stay, lovely hosts! Our favorite things during our stay were the fantastic Luigi, the grand pizza oven outside the door and the beautiful views from the terrace, in that order. 😁 All in all a great place with a lot of history.

We had a great time at Podere la Casina. We were eight people (4 adults and 4 children), and had more space than we could actually use. The house is very big, and the rooms are bigger than they look by the pictures.
