Reviews
Very recommended for those seeking relaxing time at the north of Sardinia. Great views from the restaurant and the rooms.
Talking about the rooms, the AC (one of our main worries) was perfect and the TV worked properly. They were very clean and the view was fantastic.
The pool was amazing, very fresh and clean with a lifeguard that is very attentive towards kids.
The only thing and the main reason why I don’t put 5 stars is the food… we had breakfast every morning, we also ate at Lucina for dinner and we tried the food from the Pool Bar. We felt like the options for dinner and the Pool Bar were very limited and even they would run out of dishes within the narrow selection.
I would say that the only thing they’re lacking is better food with wider options even if it’s pricier (which I don’t think it’s the reason).
Other than that, our stay was perfect, highly recommended.
The sunset view from the lounge is heaven on earth!! Thank you to the staff for the warm welcoming.. We’ll for sure come back🤍
Thanks from Morocco
With this success I could have just booked a random hotel with no stars and get the same service.
Pros: the location, the view, but we didn’t dare to have dinner at their restaurant as the reviews were bad and the breakfast of ours showed us enough to not willingly spend more money there.
So if you want to feel like a welcomed guest, you're not welcome😀
The good
The view from the ocean view room is excellent.
The lounge and rooftop bar are very comfortable.
The staff that serve breakfast are very friendly.
The Bad
The room had a strong smell of mildew.
There is mold in the shower and hallway.
The room is very tired and unappealing.
Housekeeping is not consistent
In my opinion, it’s not even close to a 4-star hotel as advertised.
There is rust and corrosion on taps.
The air conditioning did not work properly.
The front desk staff are unhelpful and appear disinterested.
This hotel might have been sensational when it was built in the 1960s, but it is, in my honest opinion, one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at.
Upon arrival, there was no one to assist with bags or show you to your room. There was a mess in the bathroom. I called reception, and it was cleaned. The bedspread was stained, dusty, and dirty. Another call to reception, and it was changed. The room smelled strongly of damp and mildew, triggering asthma symptoms after the first night.
I advised reception that we wanted to change rooms, but they told us, “The hotel is full, can’t help you.” However, an internet search showed that other rooms were available. The air conditioning only allowed one temperature and one fan speed. I advised reception, and they said they would fix it, but nothing was done. There was rust and corrosion on bathroom fittings, mold in the bathroom, and gaps where joinery work was not completed. 2 face towels had large holes in them.
The toilet is so close to the bench it’s difficult to sit on it properly without hitting the bench.
The furniture looked like it was made in the 1960s and also smelled.
The staff at reception looked like they had heard these complaints many times before, and the attitude was, “Oh well, it is what it is, you should be grateful we let you stay here.”
It’s not unusual after you leave a negative review for the hotel to respond with “ had you let us know that you were unhappy we would have done something about it” they knew we were very dissatisfied with the room but they just don’t care.
The restaurant has an outdoor area, and if you would like to have dinner there, they charge €15 per person as a cover charge.
We had breakfast included in the price, which was average at best. Should you want a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice, then be prepared to pay an additional €10 for the privilege.
We booked and paid for 6 nights but left after 5. Tourist trap.
In my opinion, it’s at best a 2.5-star hotel room in a 4-star location that is very overpriced. Suggest you Avoid.
The room was very tiny, looked more like a single room than a double. The pillows were very soft and thin, the bed covers were stained, and the air inside the room very humid. A lot of improvements needs to be made.
Staff at the hotel was helpful and respectful. We had breakfast included but not so much variety in the menu. Every day they had the same things.
The dinner was nice (tasty) but you have to wait more than 30 minutes to be made and it arrived almost cold.
I would not stay at this hotel again. It does not deserve 4 stars.
