Albergo Ristorante Paradiso Hotel

Just wonderful! The room was simple but perfectly adequate for me - the bed and bedding were really comfortable- but the view was simply wow! I left my windows open at night to listen to the waves and boats bobbing just below. The service was impeccable; they really couldn't have made me feel more welcome or done more to make my stay perfect. Absolutely loved this place and really hope to return.

Really enjoyed this hotel. The room was a loft with tons of space. The view was incredible. It was the end of the season and the hotel was very quiet. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was good.

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Not only was the bedroom spotlessly clean but the super comfy bed had freshly ironed sheets and pillows. Breakfast was lovely served in an air conditioned room looking over the water. Staff are lovely as is Regalo, the owners dog who although very old is much loved. Drinks on the terrace before going into town were lovely.

Had an amazing stay. Lovely family run hotel. We received the friendliest welcome from Stefano who also made us great Aeprol spritz on the terrace. Rooms maybe small but make up for it with the lovely view. It was really clean and breakfast although not fancy was all lovely and very fresh and delicious. Stefano always had time for a chat and was a lovely host. They were also very generous with our check out time which was really appreciated. Would highly recommend this Hotel to everyone.

We Absolutely loved our stay here so much that we stayed an extra day! Fabricio, his beautiful wife, their great dog and all of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! They have a great terrace to enjoy some wine and enjoy the view. The town is perfect to make a home base to take day trips by ferry to Vernazzo and the other great coastal towns nearby! Definitely recommending this hotel to any of our friends coming to this beautiful part of Italy!

Great views of the Gulf of the poets, very nice people. We loved Porto Venere, and there's a very short walk to the main town from the hotel. The ferry ride to Cinque Terre has great views, and La Spezia is just a quick bus ride away. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but the food in town is very very good.

What a wonderful find! After the craziness of the 5 villages in Cinque Terre, Hotel Paradiso was just what we needed. Hotel is set in a beautiful location, rooms are clean and comfortable and the terrace is wonderful for a drink. But what makes this hotel is the staff. Welcoming and warm, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you.

My family had a wonderful experience staying at the lovely Hotel Paradiso in Portovenere. The rooms were all quite comfortable and had a wonderful view of the bay, where we could relax and watch the ships come and go. My youngest daughter loved that her room had a loft with a little skylight that could open so she could peek her head out and enjoy the view.

The hotel is a family business and Fabrizio and his son Stef are incredibly hospitable. They were attentive to our needs and loved to learn about our backgrounds. We were only there for three nights but they truly made us feel like family. Fabrizio's amazing wife Titi makes delicious tarts and each morning we were greeted with a delightful spread of cakes and savory goodies. The breakfast there is second to none. Having your cappuccino while watching the tranquility of the bay was a wonderful way to kick off the day.

The relaxing terrace is a beautiful spot to enjoy a happy hour and refreshment. And like the menu says, the wine bar is "always open!" I recommend having an Aperol Spritz and admire the view.

The hotel is just a short stroll from the lovely downtown area of Porto Venere, which is a charming village made up of delightful shops and restaurants. You will enjoy fresh fish and mussels, amazing pesto and my favorite, ravioli with walnut sauce.

If your travels take you through Portovenere, you should strongly consider staying at the Paradiso. It is easy to access the Cinque Terre from there, via the hourly ferry service. Staying at the Paradiso was a real highlight of our two week vacation to Italy and we hope to come back and stay there again soon!

Family run hotel. Great service. Fantastic terrace. Beautiful view of the ocean and mountains. Great location-walkable to downtown. Room clean (small). Clean and updated bathroom.
