Hotel Villa Franca

This hotel left a lasting impression on me. It offers one of the best views I’ve ever seen—absolutely breathtaking and perfect for relaxing. On top of that, it features one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever tried. The food was authentic, delicious, and the ambiance was unforgettable. It’s truly one of the greatest places to stay, and I highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates great scenery and exceptional dining.

After an EXTENSIVE research of where to stay, we are so glad we landed on Hotel Villa Franca. Yes, there are other hotels that are closer to the town but we are so glad we didn’t have that experience. We wanted an elevated, adult only vacay. The town is great to walk around, shop, and grab food but it’s so touristy. Some have noted they found the golf cart taxi from hotel/back to be annoying. We did not find that to be true at all. You know the schedule of every 30 minutes and you work around it. It’s really not that hard. Getting in a golf cart vs a car was also refreshing. Now back to the hotel itself - from the moment we booked, they were in reliable communication for any questions/concerns and that only hightened upon arrival. The staff…EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM…was so nice and met our every need, even guessing what we didn’t know we needed. We ate at Li Galli and the experience was great. Very intimate with only 6-7 tables. We especially liked that the wine pairing wasn’t a set pairing. They asked our taste profile and whether we preferred white vs red and curated the tasting to match that as well as the tasting menu we decided to have. Additionally, we ate and/or had drinks at the pool restaurant and it was amazing. The view, of course was gorgeous, but the food and service was also excellent. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the water. The room was on the smaller side but we weren’t there for space in a room. They did an excellent job of keeping it tidy and the turndown service was greatly appreciated. We did the spa and it was a nice break. Overall, we’d highly recommend, unless you WANT to be in the hustle of town. Side note-also recommend Positive Positano for a good cocktail in a no frills spot looking at the water. It was delightful:)

My husband and i absolutely LOVED this hotel. We stayed a week. The concierge ( Alanora and all the others ) were simply fantastic with Helping us navigate car service and reservations. We LOVED the rooftop bar and their food was excellent. Can't say enough about the views. We had a sea view room with balcony. The hotel sits high up and the views are beautiful. Hotels modern and clean

Every staff member was highly qualified and clearly used to dealing with really demanding customers (not me!).
The Location is incredible, the best you can get in Positano, as it stands in a dominant position on top of the hill you see in every photo of the little coastal town.
The space is intelligently divided in every corner so that the experience is complete with a mini spa and a fine dining restaurant. I could not have asked for more!

Villa Franca is absolutely outstanding! Situated at the highest point of the Positano hill, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views from its rooftop — it’s truly one of the best spots to take in the beauty of the Amalfi Coast!
The amenities were top-notch, including thoughtful touches like a Dyson hairstyler and a steamer in the room, which made the stay even more comfortable. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. An unforgettable experience — highly recommended for anyone visiting Positano!

The best last stop of our 16 day Italy trip. The location is wonderful with 360 degree views of Positano from the rooftop pool deck. We spent three days at the pool soaking up the sun, atmosphere and drinks/food. It is a very modern style hotel with great vibe. The breakfasts (we had one in the restaurant and two on our balcony) were the best! The service is off the charts great. Anything we called for was delivered in mere seconds, it was mysterious how quickly they came! The room was larger than we anticipated and very comfortable! Definitely a highlight!

Beautiful hotel! Views are the best in Positano! Service has been absolutely amazing. The concierge staff has been extremely accommodating and helpful. I cannot compliment them enough, terrific help on restaurants, beach clubs, whatever you need!

We’ve recently Stayed At Hotel Villa Franca, From the Moment we arrived the transportation from the airport was very exceptional, the check in was Really Smooth, at first They showed us around the Hotel and the amenities, and the most beautiful views from all positano, the rooms were spacious, spotless clean, and very luxury.

the Friendly Staff went above and beyond to ensure us an unforgettable stay, they truly care for their Guest, I highly recommend this Place, and can’t wait to Be Back,
Over all it was a Great experience.

I stayed here with my husband, business partners and their spouses and it definitely impressed all of us! The view is to die for! The pool is on the roof with a bar and food while you lounge in the most comfortable chaise lounge chairs. Room view was also amazing and the room was fabulous with a very comfortable bed. The shuttle down to the town was very convenient and I can’t say enough about the service! They pamper you from the time you walk through the door until the time you leave! Highly recommend. Bite the bullet, it’s worth the money!
