Zass restaurant another level, service, food, atmosphere and of course the amazing views ! Carlino's restaurant which is on the lower level is so good for either lunch or dinner - beautiful surroundings and the lemon pasta to die for ! Everyone from the guys that refresh your room to the reception were super helpful with everything

I took skewed meat and my wife tried the pasta - both were fresh and good. Not an English speaking restaurant and they are not used to tourists, but the place was pretty full with local people- always a good sign

Cannot argue that this is one of the top hotels in the world. Everyone is super friendly, very much a family atmosphere. Everybody always seems really happy and enjoy their jobs

As a result, it is the only luxury hotel with its own private beach club, tennis courts, etc. Their upscale restaurant, Zass, is also a truly remarkable dining experience with attentive servers and awe-inspiring views

We must give a shout out to Pascale at the pool area, along with Alessandro and Erica, super attentive, always super helpful, and cannot do enough to make your trip even more wonderful

While visiting Italy for our 30th wedding anniversary, my wife and I stayed at the Hotel il San Pietro in Positano, recently voted a top 10 luxury hotel in the world and with good reason! It defines luxury and sophistication yet maintains a timeless charm and unmatched views of the Mediterranean Sea hundreds of feet below

Jessica and the team in the front desk, Rafaele and the crew in the morning breakfast, Captain Palermo on the boat tours, Chef Vincenzo with his phenomenal healthy cooking and very patient cooking class, Mai and her kind, relaxing massage, the lifeguard boating and housekeeping team, Johnny and the wait staff in the restaurant and bar, the gardeners and bellhops all went above and beyond

The hotel is beautiful, our villa was perfect, spacious and had the most incredible view! The food, the drinks, the grounds, the friendly staff and the customer service was all 10/10

This was our 2nd trip to Villa Tre Ville and oh my how the prices have gone up in 10 years! We split our stay with San Pietro because of this, which ended up being so fun to do both because they're very different, but still very much enjoyed our 10 year anniversary stay

The beach club upgrades they've made are amazing, and we would wait out the Positano day trip crowds at the beach club and then head into town in the evenings

Staff very friendly, attentive, beautiful place

The stairs to the pool was an unforgettable experience in itself. The pool with a private beach offered stunning views, and the on-site restaurant served the most delicious dishes

They suggested us things to do around the town and helped us book everything. The room was super comfortable with amazing room service. It had a jacuzzi in it which was fun. Best hotel we have ever stayed at hands down

We asked about laundry services and they apologized that they didn’t have in house services but two minutes up the street was a place that for 25 euro washed you laundry and returned it to your room

My wife and I came here for our honey moon and the entire experience was fantastic. The breakfast was great with a lot of options. What made them a cut above the rest was their customer service

They have a WhatsApp channel and you can ask them anything and they will respond. For example, we asked for a garage in Positano and they immediately recommended a place

Highlight of our stay in Italy. The staff are super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Their shuttle service helped us get around the towns very easily

Has a shuttle to take u down to private beach and back up. It is possible to walk but steep climb back up. The front desk is super helpful. View on terrace is great out to the bay

Clean and tastefully decorated hotel. The location was very convenient as it was located a few steps away from the train station and stop for the shuttle bus from Naples Airport

Their seaside restaurant (accessible on foot through a steep road or by free shuttle service) made pretty good food as well

We stayed here for the last week of August. It is a beautiful building in an excellent location. It's a two minute walk to the train station, ten minutes to the beach and about five minutes to the main town

It overlooks the sea and mount Vesuvius in the distance. The jacuzzi is available to book for free for 40 minutes at a time but we didn't end up using it as we prefer the beach

The sandy beach was gorgeous with lots of loungers which we took advantage of most days. There's also some reasonably priced bars and cafes close by to keep you hydrated and some clean toilets

The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, it was a buffet which didn't change but had decent options and lots of nice coffee and juice available. We would definitely stay here again

The hotel was very peaceful and welcoming with a beautiful scenery. The room was specious and clean. Beds were clean and comfortable. The location was great and train station was only 5 minutes from the hotel

Our room was very good and cleaned every day. Our room had a shared balcony with plenty of sun loungers which was also tidied every day

I came here with my two daughters and it started badly with the airline losing my mobility aid however the wonderful staff at the hotel got me the free loan of a wheelchair for the length of our stay!from the local pharmacy

My wife and I stayed at the Eden Bleu for four nights as part of an organised group of 25. The hotel was comfortable and friendly. I don't recognise it from the moans of those who posting below went in a group in May

I loved the area as it is full of character and charm, much more authentic than some areas on the Amalfi Coast. The family even organised a party for our group on the last night and it couldn't have been better!

There was nobody sat behind the bar waiting for customers but when we wanted a drink the receptionist called a member of stuff to serve us and we could go and sit in the comfortable area to the left of the door

This hotel is amazing clean modern and very comfortable. The small fishing village is full of amazing and not too expensive restaurants-a very special pier restaurant where you can watch the sun go down

We had a rental car and the staff parked it securely in the gated parking area. We had access to the car anytime we wanted. The beach club down the bottom of the pier is as so good too

We stayed with our children for one week and this trip had been absolutely unforgettable! The staff are so friendly and accommodating! I can’t say enough about them… They really go above and beyond and helped us make our first family trip to Italy one to never forget

We did not stay at the hotel but we ate dinner in their dining room. It was a fabulous experience especially because of our gentleman server. He was so excited and passionate about everything on the menu that we were too

High cost performance, The service is very considerate, The town is roughly between Naples and Sorrento, so if you drive by yourself, you will not be disappointed if you choose this hotel

The shared apertif platter was really delicious. The view is incredible and it was a lovely experience. Definitely come here if you're looking for a spectacular view while you dine

One small suggestion: it would be even better if the sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels on the beach were included for hotel guests without an extra fee. Other than that, everything was perfect from start to finish!

I had such a pleasure stay here, peaceful and beautiful little town, not so many tourists as Sorrento, but just 20mins train from there. The best thing about it is the incredible view and private beach

Incredible location; older hotel that has been upgraded with modern amenities. Lobby is on the top floor and all rooms overlook the Med, as the hotel is literally built into the side of a cliff.

The location is perfect, it’s not T the center of everything, it’s a bit remote, but still accessible and near the town. I would definitely stay there again

Gorgeous getaway outside of Sorrento This resort was beautifully located North of Sorrento with breathtaking views and all the amenities. The sea view room was extremely cool

The place is 15 minutes from the train station meta which is practical to go to sorrento or napoli. The beach are not far also 15 minutes but they are all private

View is awesome, we were 5 in a Bungalow and everything went well. Few things I didn't like was that there were ants in our kitchen and that the pools could have been a little more clean

Good specially for families with kids, they can enjoy the pool for swimming and tanning,and the terrace of the bungalows for breakfast. there s also pingpong tables and a restaurant

Service for parking is 10€ a day (for them parking your car and for a lot in the garage). Conclusion: We would definitely visit again as we didn’t intend to use the private beach and we’re gone all day

If you’re looking to stay at the hotel and enjoy the ocean choose the public beach nearby or another hotel

Does not have free wifi and the 'private' beach is full of rubbish staff aren't always nice. Rooms aren't always at a good standard. Yet some roms have great views.

This hotel/ resort is old school! It has a breathtaking view of Naples bay and Ischia! Cobble beach that is maintained daily

A wonderful hotel, decorated in a nautical theme, couldn’t ask form more in terms of location right on the sea, shuttle bus ran every day into town, due to the mad prices on taxis

The property had a private beach area. The views were spectacular and there was a shuttle service provided to take us in town. The breakfast was average.

  The location is away from other restaurants and attractions but this is made clear in the description when booking, it wasn’t a problem for us as we had a car, they run a shuttle to the nearest railway station at Vico equense, if you have a car it’s easy to drive there and park in the underground parking in the center of town, from there getting the train to anywhere you want is easy and cheap

Only two slight criticisms, 1 the shower wasn’t particularly hot or powerful and 2 they need to vary the restaurant menu at least a couple of times a week if only by a few dishes. Overall I would recommend this hotel

Room 2as not worth it in any way, only pretty view was from the center outside and the beach, though i did slice a gash through my foot having tried going deeper then my knees

The overall feeling of the hotel is very good, the service is also good, it is right by the sea and you can go swimming. The breakfast is a standard Western breakfast and the room is also OK.

Sorrento itself is just about walking distance too, or about 5 minutes by taxi if you're lucky with the traffic. Friendly, personal service and good food

Lifeless hotel with a rooftop without service and a cold jacuzzi No bar in the hotel fortunately there is the Seabar opposite Very questionable room service with random replacement of towels and forgetting in the room (plastic bags etc…) Finally, the hotel overlooks a very noisy street

The beach club was really great as well. We loved that it was a short walk to town as it's a beautiful walk and was a lovely way to unwind at night. Cannot recommend Grand Hotel Riviera enough

We stayed at Grand Hotel Riviera in Sorrento for five nights during our honeymoon in mid-June, and it was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, the service was some of the best we've ever experienced

The private beach club is another standout feature that makes this hotel special. The service was great, and we enjoyed many spritzes and a few club sandwiches while relaxing during our days there

They also have their own private beach area, which was gorgeous! Everything was spotless - The housekeeping staff did a great job every day

We had such a wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Riviera in Sorrento! It was our first time in Sorrento and I was overwhelmed with options on accommodations, but I’m so happy that I went with this hotel! Everything from the beautiful room , the views , the staff ( Gianni and Francesco at concierge were amazing and very helpful with booking restaurants , transportation and boat trips, as well as giving us...

They welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of prosecco and chocolate cake. Francesco & Gianni at the concierge desk were both incredible

Max Pollio at the front desk said that he would continue to contact the police at the station in an attempt to find my bag. It was a new suitcase but I had a new (never worn) 700EU pair of Ferragamo shoes in there

It hasn’t changed a bit and our stay was a joy from beginning to end. The first pleasant surprise was our room. We were out in 501 and had a view of Vesuvius and the water from our window and balcony

We stayed at 5 star hotels in Venice, Rome and at the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori. This was the most impressive of them all. The rooms were pristine and spacious

The walkout balcony with a hot tub, overlooking the bay was breathtaking for sunrise and sunsets. I had my suitcase lost/stolen at the Rome train station

We only wish the menu at the beach resort had better offerings. If going to Sorrento look no further! Stay here without a doubt!!

I strongly recommend walking to Giovanna Rock Beach, which is really surprising!

The sea view room is beautiful, and the environment of the ordinary room is also very good. The most noteworthy thing is the Michelin restaurant in the hotel. The black truffle pasta is the best I have ever eaten

Surely one of the most beautiful hotel locations in the world. Absolutely stunning vistas over the bay and towards Vesuvius. Often hotels on the Amalfi coast are not truly “5 star”, with tired dated rooms

Not here - great sized spaces, excellent showers and air conditioning. Have a martini on the terrace, or take the elevator and listen to the ocean at the hotel’s private jetty/beach area

Want a towel for the pool area? They'll bring you one but they won't lay it out for you. Nor do they ask if you would like water or a menu. They never bring any type of standard accompaniment (crisps, nuts, olives etc

You're basically on your own after the towel and you have to physically get up to flag them down to take any type of order. Same goes for anywhere else in this place

This is a somewhat old fashioned hotel that has music in the sitting areas - a piano player - to just enjoy the atmosphere. This was my second time here. I recommend the rooms overlooking the sea rather than the road
