The entire staff is excellent, while also being friendly. You feel like you’re on a private island but can socially engage as much as desired, which is always nice. The grounds of this hotel are simply magical

Parking is available only for the hotel's guests, but there's plenty of space along the road above. Definitely recommended for a special occasion, or just a romantic dinner

I took skewed meat and my wife tried the pasta - both were fresh and good. Not an English speaking restaurant and they are not used to tourists, but the place was pretty full with local people- always a good sign

Hotel Pasitea was really lovely. I personally loved the vintage decor and thought the hotel itself was very pretty (its covered in beautiful pink flowers outside that must have taken decades to grow)

I absolutely loved this place. The view from the room was an absolute dream, and the location was so incredible for us because we did not want to be in a loud area but wanted to be close to main Positano

As another plus we are a gay couple and felt absolutely safe and at no point “othered” by staff, which does happen in other parts of Italy. Overall I cannot recommend this place enough

Loved it! Amazing views, nice room and delicious breakfasts. The walk to the beach takes about 5 down and 10min up because if the stairs but worth it. The restaurant at the beach has incredible food too

It's a looong way down the stairs to the beach. Takes a while to get there and back up. That said, it's a wonderful place. Positano breakfasts, overlooking the ocean, are splendid!

The room had a balcony that opened right up to the sea. Walking distance to the best beach spot in Positano. The rooms were spacious and so was the bathroom. Felt very authentic! Hotel was clean

In our stay in Positano we decided to stay in La Caravella! And I’m so glad we did! This place is the best, I really don’t understand how it has bad reviews! First of all the location is AMAZING, and you can’t beat the price! No going up and down stairs with ur luggage and bags, it’s right on the beach

The place has Lounge chairs in the front, which is amazing because you don’t have to pay the 25€ Sun bed fee of the Positano beach. We simply left our things in the Caravella sun beds and went for a dip in the beach

Seaside view with the sound of the waves. Private sun-beds in frond of Spiaggia beach with free access to the beachfront. The expensive hotels in Positano have very difficult to access uphill

Hard to imagine a better view of Positano.

We were able to book water taxis and a boat tour through the hotel and both picked us up right at the hotel's beach club. There were also so many terraces and balconies to sit and enjoy the lovely views

Hotel guests are able to take a unique elevator through the cliff side down to the beach club where you also have fantastic ocean front views and the option to swim over to a private beach

We loved being able to enjoy both the high rise overview of the sea as well as the oceanfront view, something not every hotel can offer. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful

One of our favorite attributes of the hotel was the carved out cave along the sea you walk through in order to get to the beach club. It was fun to explore this neat hotel

This hotel is built into the side of a cliff, with beautiful sea views from your room, the lobby, the restaurant, breakfast, everywhere! Pictures do not do it justice

Excellent 2-night stay, Margherita made our visit in Praiano so memorable and amazing. Their service and hospitality is the best I have ever experienced and you can truly feel their genuineness. I can’t recommend enough!

Let's see - parking was EASY (they have a lot!!), they welcome you in with a welcome drink, and when you're ready, head up to your room. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the pool had a very nice view

The hotel is set up on a steep hill, but they save you from having to make that trek by offering a hotel shuttle service

breakfast was mainly European affair with but with Fresh Ommelettes. from croissant to bread to Pasta. We will be returning definitely

Family owned nice little place, away from crowd yet close to town. Owners welcome you every morning with a smile and complimentary breakfast. Rooms are good size and very clean. Beach is public but never too crowded

We didn’t stay overnight but stop by the restaurant that is owned by the same lady and her Mom. They were so sweet and attentive, definitely recommend to stop by even if you just want a glass of wine or a cappuccino.

This place is a little slice of heaven. The cove and surrounding restaurants are great. La Conchiglia is clean and comfortable, with a wonderful family taking care of you

Exceptional place, right on the beach, marvellous view and unique experience. It is a family-run hotel & restaurant with very good food; I recommend in particular Pizza and Clams Spaghetti. Will be back next year

LOCATION IS UNREAL! It is located on a beach, in a cove with huge rock formations on both sides. Food was fantastic and reasonable priced

It's also just a short walk away from the bus stop from where you can take the local bus to Positano. It also has boats for Capri right from the beach where it is situated had a great coastal walk 2 mins away

One of the primary reasons why I loved this place is because you can literally roll out of your bed and get to the beach ( Marina Di Praia ) if you are staying here

As in this coast, many challenging steps with your luggage. You have the quiet of remote as well as the difficulty and limited choices of remote. Need to pay for cab or ferry to go anywhere off the tiny beach or hotel

Sun sets early behind the hills so not a great deal of beach time; approx 3-4 hrs to swim

Villa Franca was perfect for our honeymoon! It's a little higher priced, but this was our splurge for hotels since our other locations would be cheaper than Positano. Rooms were beautiful, clean, and good size for Europe

The lamb was beyond tender, the pasta dish was the most delectable dish we had the entire trip and the lemon dessert with the soufflé melted in our mouths. The pool was so impressive and the views were insane

We finished a class of water and the waiter was there filling it up. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and were able to steer us in the best direction for our choice of dinner

The views are immaculate and ambiance is untouchable. We had dinner at the fine dining restaurant inside the hotel and it was the best meal that we have had since we got to Italy

The staff was extremely attentive to our every need. We had an issue with one of our excursions and the lovely lady at the front desk offered to call the tour company and change the meeting place and time

Service was great, the restaurant at the hotel was also very good. The hotel staff was helpful and attended to all needs and questions. We stayed in room 304 and had one of the best views of the ocean.

Such a wonderful experience! The hotel staff were all extremely accommodating and the daily breakfast was unbelievably delicious! Tony, the head chef and breakfast manager, is so fun-loving, personable and hilarious

It is noisy because you are in between two streets, but the view from the room made it completely worth it! Plus, the room itself was very nice and we liked how private it felt

Each room has its own colour scheme with floor tiles reflecting the local tradition. An excellent buffet breakfast is served on a terrace where you can watch the constant flow of boats. The attentive staff were friendly

While everything we tried was more than delicious, our hands down favourites were the gamberi rosso (little prawns marinated in lemon juice served on a bed of fresh fennel) and the anchovy and zucchini millefuille

Must also mention the outstanding service from all the staff, in particular mention our server Pasquale - he was attentive, gracious, warm, genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great evening

Breakfast is included and has plenty of options from sweets to salty. Homemade cappuccinos were our go to every morning with the option of soy milk if intolerant. Their restaurant is incredible

This resort is the only one allowed on the beach front and their standards for sure will exceed your expectations of a 5 Star hotel for a city with such a romantic history

Great experience when we stayed here back in 2019. Hotel has a great location by the water so you can jump on a ferry and check out the sites nearby (ie Amalfi, Ravelo, Capri etc)

When visiting the Amalfi Coast in Italy, Positano is just as beautiful as you have heard or seen in the movies. The trip from Rome was enchanting and engaging to say the least

It’s also walking distance to really good restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend wearing comfy shoes if you want to explore around the hotel

It isn't too far from the beach and is still removed from the main streets so it's a bit quieter

If you ask for a room on a higher floor, you'll be able to see the entire east side of Positano and breathtaking views of the sea. They serve breakfast to the room, and you can eat while enjoying the sight

It was a middle room 104 with a large balcony. The room was very nice and spacious. Very first class hotel and well kept. A lot of road noise though, if that is a concern look at the rooms above the pool,401 to 405

The furniture is classic and adequately comfortable, but the town has so much to offer that there's no reason to spend all of your time sitting on the hotel couch! The staff is as friendly and as helpful as can be, led by Rosita

It is a hike to the town center, but we enjoyed walking off our meals. The only drawback is the road noise from the rooms, but I kept the review at 5 stars because we got over it since the price was right

Hint: If taking the SITA, get off at the Chiesma Nuovo stop and then walk downhill, take the stairs to the right (2 sets, take the one on the left of those two), and you'll take a right on the road at the bottom and find it on the right

We would have loved to have coffee in the mornings on the balcony. I believe Antonio said they’re working on setting up a food service

You can hop down to the little supermarket (Latteria market) and they have really reasonable prices for good coffee and baked treats)

This accommodation is just awesome. We were so sad that we stayed there only one night. You have all apartment for you and with so huge terrace with a sea view! The owner was so nice

There is also a kitchen inside with ingredients for breakfast. The only thing is that there is no parking place, so you have to park your car somewhere on the road

And be prepaired, that there is a lot of stairs to get to the apartment. And it's very nice walk to Positano center, it will take you 10-15 minutes to get there
