It's not a real 4 stars.
It's costly, but the buiding is very old (fairly well kept, though), rooms are very basic and old, beds very tough, and service is poor - breakfast ends at 9.00, they are a little flexible but they are not happy.

We were there on holiday as a group in August. Although classified as a four-star, the hotel can at best be considered a three-star. The hotel is mainly frequented by elderly people who spend the summer there. There is an air of nostalgia for the old glories of the eighties / nineties, a period in which the hotel must have given its best, the rooms in fact, although clean and comfortable, are a little dated and show signs of age ( the beds, however, are very uncomfortable!). It is located just outside the town of Roccaraso not far from the center. The environment is still very familiar, peaceful and quiet; the breakfast is very rich and the products are fresh and replaced every day; dinner (or lunch) is good and varied with a choice of three first and three second courses, accompanied by a rich buffet of vegetables and desserts.
