San giorgio is an excellent hotel. We have not stayed there but we use their pool facilities and always have lunch there. The food is excellent. The staff are brilliant and always try and speak English even though I try and speak Italian. Would highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting scalea!!

I'd recommend this place for the delicious fresh fish. We had the mix fish starter, pasta with tuna and aubergine and mix of fried fish and all dishes were above expectations. Very pleasant local white wine. The staff were absolutely lovely, extremely polite, helpful and accomodating. Great price for value.

Everything about this property was first class. From the staff to the room which was spacious also the Wi-Fi was excellent. They could not do enough to help you a wonderful hotel.

I slept in this delightful b & b for just one night with 2 friends returning from a bike ride and we found genuine and generous hospitality. The owner is very kind and nice and he also "accommodated" our bikes. Wonderful house with balconies and stairways with a lovely patio for breakfast at the beginning of the pedestrian street of the historic center, convenient for everything! Thank you

Fantastic value, plain but spacious, clean & fully functional room & bathroom with awesome view. The owner, Simone, is kind and helpful. He even kindly let us use his washing machine. The albergo is right in the centre of the village with private parking. There's a brilliant bar 100m away in the piazza.

In this basic and welcoming structure we found everything we needed. A comfortable bed for sleeping, cleanliness and helpful staff, a strategic position for various trips. I especially thank the owner Simone who was of infinite availability and kindness.

Pretty B&B over the sea with a fantastic view. The beach is easily accessible via approx. 250 steps. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are functional and clean, the breakfast as in the entire southern Italian area: coffee, croissant, cake, some fruit for us completely sufficient.

Villa Crawford is so spacious and peaceful that it feels like you're the only people staying there. Andrea is the most hospitable host we have ever had and goes out of his way to ensure you are happy with everything. The views are spectacular and the location is great too. We could not recommend this place enough. The most beautiful stay in all of Calabria!

Nice hotel, stayed there for a week with the family a couple of years ago and it was nice. Not a luxurious place by any means, but a great location. To get there by car you have to drive a pretty narrow road with hairpin turns and Italians have a rather flexible point of view in regards to lanes and right of way 😋. You also have to wear a cap when using the hotel pool.

We only stayed one night but the welcome was excellent. The b & b is nestled in the narrow streets of Villa San Nicola, Mrs. Teresa got in touch with us and showed us where to park for free and how to get to the b & b on foot. She was super nice and was willing to help with any problems. The rooms are basic but cute and functional. The bathroom is a bit small, but nothing insurmountable. Very comfortable...

The staff is very kind and the B&B is located in the historic center. Very nice rooms and the terrace where you have breakfast with homemade jams (excellent that of strawberry grapes). We recommend a small suitcase because you cannot arrive by car which must be left 5 minutes on foot but uphill but then it is very comfortable. At Ivana's house it was a wonderful experience. Arriving in town by bus under an endless downpour, Tonino came to save us with umbrellas and kway. The village is small but safe for children. The water slides to the pools are the best for the little ones.

A beautiful, well maintained property. We were the only guests on a night in mid May. The patio surrounds a sparkling pool and has loungers and seating. Unobstructed views of the bay. The upstairs suite is in a shared area with the owner. The WiFi also doesn’t consistently reach. This can feel as though you are intruding so it may be more comfortable to book a regular room.

Big mansion, B&B style The property is a big mansion with lots of rooms so it’s like a B&B style . The couple of the house were very great with me. The night that I came I was late. The man stayed up to open the gate for me to come in with my car. They cook the breakfast for me in their kitchen. The room was nice , had a pool and a nice view from up top of the mountains .

Last September we had our wedding at the beautiful Castello di Praia, I can not say just how wonderful and special it was! The team on site is AMAZING!!! After being there I can confirm the positive reviews I had read about this B&B. New structure, kindness and friendliness of the owners, rooms equipped with every comfort and excellent and abundant breakfast. It was also possible for me to park the motorbike inside the structure. The hotel is very conveniently located: close to the old town and the beach, and a five-minute walk from a large supermarket. The train station is a 20-minute walk away. Although the common areas of the hotel need renovation, my room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. I felt very comfortable.

Resort equipped with sll conforts, with large green spaces, a wonderful swimming pool and impeccable service, young, friendly abd helpful staff. We purchased an extra spa path for a fee and it was very relaxing. The beaxh is clean and the sea is very beauriful.

Riviera de lux room. The room is small. For 2 people with luggage for a long stay, I suppose, impossibly small. For 1 person is more or less suitable. Hotel is clean. Quality of food matches 3***. We stay in modern part which is closer to the beach, rooms are ok however very small.. If you dont pay extra, you get the view to the busy steeet. Double bed for small children not the best option and there is nothing else to choose from. What is really wierd, requirement to swim in swimming caps at the outdoor pools…. Food is good, especially pasta :) Service very friendly.

Great service at a nice facility with average hotel rooms. The food, however, was really, REALLY GOOD! The only downside at Hotel Santa Caterina Village is the deplorable internet provided. The internet here is ALMOST WORTHLESS!

Beautiful location, close to the sea with private beach, which, sadly, is only open from 8-20h. Very tasty food and cuisine in a form of buffet with free water available in the restaurant. The hotel also has pool areas that require swimming hat, a bar where you pay with your hotel card and an open theatre.
