Lovely hotel in Taranto, great view and nice pool, they are currently doing renovations, which will update the rooms. The only drawback was parking being so limited.

By far the nicest staff in town. Rooms were nice enough. My seaside room was date but had a great view. The superior room was newly remodeled and spacious for a European room.

The hotel is currently being renovated and the design plans look amazing. The location of the hotel is second to none and the view over the Gulf of Taranto is breathtaking. This was a wonderful experience. For the price, it is a very good deal. Breakfast included and what ever nationality you are, you will be very satisfied with the choices. The restored Monastery is gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful just to walk around there. I stayed three nights and it was not long enough to take full advantage of the facilities and spa. The best place I have ever stayed in. The food was excellent as was the pool and the accommodation. Not to busy and those we spoke to were similarly impressed, almost didn't want to review as I didn't want it broadcast how fabulous the place is. Hoping to travel back when covid becomes normalised.

It ia ok for overnight in Tarando. Free parking and breakfast ( the bkfst is not very good bit enought to start the day ). The room is ols but it was clean and warm in winter. The TV is a joke , an old small TV direct from the 80's. Taranto does not have good rates in yours hotels so keep it in your mind.

The hotel is new and clean. Very clean. The housekeeping staff is fantastic, they are defiantly some of the best! The real gem is the spa downstairs though, Irma is an absolute magician of a massage therapist. Two very hearty thumbs up!

Beautiful modern hotel designed for international business traveler, but perfectly nice for tourists as we were this time. Perhaps the top place of this style I have seen in Italy. Room very comfy, rooftop bar, infinity pool and amazing restaurant. Short menu but it rocks.

LOVED this hotel! It is new, modern, clean and spacious!! There aren’t many amenities in walking distance, however, the Rooftop Bar, restaurant and pool more than make up for it. The breakfast covered everyone’s favorites- whether from Europe or N. America. Highly recommended!!

Perfect location between the city centre and the sea side. We had a very warm welcome by Marzia. We enjoyed the room comfort, the bed is super cozy. The restaurant offers local dishes with a modern touch and the breakfast in the morning is simply delicious. Andrea at the bar makes unique cocktail!! Sometimes happen that the three stars that you find on internet are real. A nice hotel, wonderful position but: the room without personality, a big noisy air conditioner, no parking linked to the hotel. For one night it's ok...for more nights you can find something else.

Sooo outdated. Great ambience of previous times. Rooms rebuild in not a great way. Very simple, missed some cleaning and even power socket. Great location, but don’t choose if you are expecting good hotel.

Really Nice stay. Good choice of breakfast. A little dated but still well maintained. Downside there is no veiw from room. Windows. Only side of building. Front of hotel rooms are being renovated.

Hotel is very central to Taranto, right on the main square (piazza). Room was small with a single bed and only a courtyard view, but I got what I paid for. Breakfast was a little disappointing with only the basics (white bread rolls, no wholemeal or any sliced bread) , and the cappuccino was from an automatic machine rather than the usual Italian standard of being made by hand. Service was good.

Great pool area (with bar/restaurant) but sometimes the music is way too loud. People come to relax and the music is annoying. Nice rooms and apartments. Nice garden area with playground, tennis and volleyball court. Close to a (not so nice) beach. Close to several restaurants, small supermarket. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Nice quiet room and great location. Poor breakfast, only sweet bread and some cake no meat or cheese or any other protein.

Very comfortable, nature like environment, good gardens, relaxing walk around the compound, friendly staff. I will recommend it again and again.

Can only speak about the swimming pool. The staff is really helpfull and nice. Offers everything you might need when going to swim on regular basis. I'm doing a swimming course and the level is balanced and the teacher is good. Pretty clean and tidy. Easy to arrive and park. Only thing is you have to pay for using the shower and hairdryer and they don't have an option in which you can just go everyday...

It's a little bit hard to find (don't trust in Google Maps for the last few blocks) but the location near the sea is brilliant. The apartments are very basic but sufficient, except that the shower flooded when we flushed the sink after doing the dishes. Nice but 1km to MD supermarket. Bus stop is only 300m from hotel. Beach is rocky but there are some steps to climb in. Unfortunately there was a power cut in the area on our second night so we couldn't do anything between 2100 and 0600.

Food was good, but be careful not to be fooled. When ordering we pointed that we are not too hungry and want just one fish fillet, not whole fish. English speaking waiter helped and translated this to the local waiter. Imagine our surprise getting the Whole! fish after 1 hour of waiting . Needless to add that fish was overpriced. We stayed in this interesting hotel for one night. We had arrived with sunset. A spectacular sunset over the sea, because the hotel is located on the sea. The very kind reception room and bathroom, beautiful and clean environments. Not every day, it was breakfast in the room overlooking the sea. Great!

We happened upon this hotel in Taranto by chance and already from the entrance we noticed the kind and welcoming staff. Once we entered the room, which was tidy and clean, we noticed an immense sea view and slept very well. Bed was confortable, bathroom was big, staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast had a lot of options, mainly sweet breakfast as it is usual in Italy. Although the rooftop bar was not open, you could order drinks downstairs and drinknthem upstaris or BYOB. :)

Beautiful Hotel in the midst of old run down town/Island of Taranto... (Think Naples !). Very friendly staff. we originally booked into San Andrea Degli Armeni ( closed Summer '13 ) and were brought by locals to this Hotel. very friendly staff. Be prepared for the locality which is very "authentic" and very southern Italy !

We changed 5 B & Bs in the space of a week and Don Alfredo is undoubtedly in first place for everything. We had two apartments (Nicola and her grandmother Clelia) one with a sea view and the other with a sea view and a beautiful terrace. The very spacious rooms, done with taste and style. This was a wonderful place to stay. It was a fair sized apartment, with air conditioning. Our room was on the seventh floor and we had a million dollar view of the city. Pena was very friendly and punctual and brought us a nice breakfast every morning of coffee crossiant sandwich yogurt and fresh fruit. The bed was very comfortable and there is also a pull out sofa in the living room. We can't wait...

Very nice flat we had. On the second floor flats have a very huge terrace. Fully furnished with air conditioning and big flat for your comfort. The owner is nice and friendly giving you tips for visiting the area of Taranto.

It is a very good place for vacation or job mission! In the middle of the town and access to everything that you may need. The apartments are very lux and modern and very clean. The hostess , mrs Pamela is very kind , gentle and friendly who is realy helpful and made my stay here joyful!

The hotel is well located on the edge of the historic city center, right at the shore of the Mare Piccolo and surrounded by many restaurants. The staff was very kind and supportive. The room was well equipped with all it needs.

Not an ideal location if you don't have a car and want to visit the beaches, although near the train station. To reach the beaches, get a bus from the Ingresso Porto bus stop to CTP bus stop at Viale Virgillio (near the Nautilus restaurant).
