Hotel Meridiano in Termoli

Modern structure, large and comfortable room, good quality of food, polite and efficient staff (special praise to Elisabetta at the reception and Danilo in the restaurant: friendly, helpful and well-mannered). But there are some flaws, which for the amount paid are significant and delegitimize how much good the structure offers: for the 1/2 board (served at the table) made as a couple, it is possible to request only 2 courses out of 3 (for example appetizer and first course but not the second, or first and second course but not the appetizer, or even appetizer and second course but not the first); furthermore it is possible to choose between fruit and dessert but you cannot have both. In short, of a complete meal, paid for, one is served with 2 courses deducted. Absurd. It is for lousy people dead of hunger. The serious thing is that at the time of booking (2 nights half board we paid €470 for 2 people) all this is not said. We also paid the extra for the sea view, but our room, no. 407 was one of the most secluded on the side of the structure. Finally, the beach service: umbrellas too close (we had no. 209 at Lido Mistral) to the point that for a bit of shade in the afternoon we had to resort to the shade of the neighbor. Unheard of. The 2 stars go only to the skill and efficiency of the staff, but for the greed of the owners this structure deserves zero stars. I recommend a visit to the town of Campomarino, not far away, famous for its murals and for the rich program of summer events.
