The hotel is located on the top of a hill, walking distance to the beach. The view from the balcony is the state of the art.....! Absolute fantastic. Even the hotel needs a little bit maintenance, the clean rooms, the helpful staff and mainly the view makes this Hotel to top place to stay.

A nice hotel with full board, very good for family with kids. You can do windsurfing, sailing, canoeing (for free) and scuba diving (paying). The scuba diving center is great, high quality and authorized to bring you to nice dives in the natural park nearby

If you don´t know speak Italien, you have a big problem. Almost no one knows foreign languages (English, French, Spanish) ​​in this resort. You must sign (in case check in) document in Italian language, it's not okay if you don't understand. Labels and instructions are also mostly only in Italian. We were given exceptional service from the moment we contacted the property asking for a 3 bed room close to amenities like the pool and restaurant as one of us was recovering from a broken leg. Il Monastero Hotel is a hidden gem—underrated yet unforgettable. Very friendly and a nice clean place. Nice pool. A bit of a walk to the beach 30 mins if your bit old. Enjoyed a 5 night retreat at this magical hotel, the energy felt amazing. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the staff very friendly and the food was delicious, with lots of choice for vegan and gluten free. The beach is a shortish walk away and was always quiet when we went.

I have to say I was overwhelmed with the beauty and authenticity of this place. Its been beautifully preserved in its originality, and has heaps of character. Its barely a 10 minute walk to the beach. Half an hour drive to the nearest port. The other thing I found exceptional was the staff care. They all went above and beyond to fulfill our every request. Wonderful hotel. Staff were exceptional and couldn’t be more helpful. Nice cool drink when we arrived. A beautiful breakfast and free espresso coffee to go with it. Lent us an umbrella for the beach. Solanas is a village to mix with the locals. Really nice long sandy beach with 3 lidos. 3 or 4 really good pizza and seafood restaurants in the town.

We have arrived to Hotel Solanas with a dog. Sofia, Aurora and a nice lady at the kitchen area made our 5 days stay really special with their kind and helpful attitude. We got a great and very clean room (each day was cleaned our room) on the second floor and there was no problem with the late check -in, we got all of the information on time. This hotel is amazing and the guys working there create truly special atmosphere! They are extremely helpful and hospitable and they made our stay in this hotel even better :) Breakfast as well as dinner are really tasty! Also the bar, we've really enjoyed the cocktails and I can especially recommend the signature cocktail 'Solanas' with a unique and refreshing taste, which you won't find anywhere...

Really nice spot to have a lunch. The food is very good and the service aswell.

To say the hotel is close to the beach is an understatement. It is literally at the beach. The beach itself is as picturesque as any in Sardinia and for some obscure reason less crowded than the others around it. Add to that a very friendly and helpful staff and you can't recommend the hotel highly enough.

Most all you can eat buffets are awful... cruises.. all inclusive resorts. THE FOOD HERE IS AMAZING! The dinner has all you can eat grilled fish and steak (or lamb). You walk up to the grill area and they serve you right off the grill. All the food was great. The SPA is an amazing value and one of the best we have been to. Relaxation room, saunas, steam rooms, and the treatments... all really good...

Lovely place (nice layout, architecture and green spaces), great services and professional/friendly staff. A special mention to the SPA - personnel is superb and the venue is extremely well organized/maintained.

We recently traveled to Sardinia and stayed at the property. The rooms were beautiful and the staff made the trip very enjoyable. Mauro the manager for the outdoor bar made us the best cocktails every day. The beach wasn’t crowded but lots of kids (infants) at this property.

Welcome to the business end of things! Whatever you do - if you qualify as family - do not go for the according offer. Last time around we chose an off center building, that was fine. Incoming bus tourists will apparently entice hotel to handle you as collateral, even if you are staying for long term and these folks come around very briefly. Would grade this hotel as a 4 star definitely not a 5 star as advertised. Rooms old and in need of a refurb. They felt damp and smelt damp too. The rooms didn’t feel clean particularly the floor. Explained the situation to reception who were nice and helpful and offered to inspect the room. Poor quality with kids food at the restaurant Kento. Freezer food was served up and charged 16euros for frozen...

I recommend this resort, even if it is not on the beach. It will provide you to the beach with a partner hotel. In return, the staff is friendly and friendly from the waiter to the reception. Me and my family had an amazing time at the Cruccuris resort. The service is of the highest level, the personal professional and friendly, the location unforgettable. We travelled with a one year old and the kitchen always made sure to make appropriate food for our child. Overall was a very relaxing week, and we could not be more satisfied. We will be back, hopefully!

I've experienced only the restaurant. But it is really nice, good price for good quality and a wonderful fresh and chilly location. A must if you are around the area. Also pizza is not bad and of course you can choose between really good wines

Everything was a dream! The location of this hotel is exceptional - the beach is one of the most beautiful in South Sardinia. We loved the food, felt totally relaxed in their beautiful gardens and on our lounger facing this majestic beach - and the staff were lovely. We'd love to return!

Were here for dinner. Had grilled cuttlefish and steamed mussels, both were very fresh. Villasimius is an extensive holiday place. Restaurants and hotels are expensive.

Very nice 3 star hotel! The little bungalows are new and have a very nice terrace and view. The pool area is made up with hundreds of different flowers and looks so beautiful! The grass is always perfect and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant that belongs to the hotel offers high quality delicious dishes! So the food is more expensiv than in usual 3 star hotels but the food is really 5 star...

The rooms are clean an modern, as ist the whole place. Combined with the good service, great breakfast and good Location its a very pleasant experience. Next beach is approx. 2km away but there is no way to walk there safely with kids (roads without bordwalk) and there are nicer beaches not too far away. But then again there is the very nice clean hotel pool.

All the staff was super friendly starting from the smiley gardener who educate about the plants in the garden, till all the receptionists who are so lovely souls. Our stay was perfect. Our room had a terrace and we were able to see the pool and beach as well as the mountain. On the terrace we got to see some amazing sunsets. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. Had some issues with the coffee machine the first day but it was resolved immediately. Room only had one power outlet so that wasn’t too helpful to charge phones when multiple people were...

Very nice and friendly resort. Located in a somewhat remote area but still in a quiet area. In line with the market price. Very nice and polite staff. A major flaw are the few parking spaces outside and the unavailability of parking spaces for the disabled. Good quality pool, activities and services. I advise it.

Super nice hotel near the beach (the beach is not that great), I suggest going to Beaches a little further out the city. But the hotel itself is amazing, the service is the best I have come across anywhere in Sardinia! Really amazing and at reasonable Rates for the rooms
