ibis styles Mini-hotel

The AC is basically non-existent, it shuts off after 10 minutes, and the staff informed us that the temperature settings are limited. The room would never go below the ambient temperature. Shower drains were clogged and constantly pooling. There was no proper duvets provided, only old thick itchy blankets. The shutter blind for the window was stuck and unable to close, and the “curtain” was extremely thin, enough to see outside the window through, which made sleeping in the mornings even harder. Staff were nice but unable to rectify any of these issues.

Good breakfast food and coffee. 20 min from (old) city center. Noisy rooms due to the railway nearby, broken mosquito nests, no room intimity (you can see the neighbours apartments interior). Too expensive for what it offers.

We have been Ibis member for well over 15 years, and always had good experiences with this brand. However! This hotel seems off in so many ways. It did not look like a well styled Ibis. And the quality of the rooms were poor. The nightstand was just a metal stool which had a phone on it, so I had almost no room for my mobile and watch. Even the shower leaked in the worst way possible in room 404. And we had considerable noise from the passing trains in the back of the hotel, so we were forced to close the window and turn on the airconditioner for some cool breeze. The free WiFi will only give you 250kbps when you’re lucky. And the breakfast was quite poor. Without a doubt one of the worst experience in Ibis styles yet. Although the desk employer was friendly like we are used to. The quality of the hotel and the current state that it’s in took us by surprise.
