Pellegrino Palace Hotel

We spent a week in this hotel. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and large. The restaurant is excellent with a varied and always replenished buffet.
Nice, helpful and very patient waitresses.
The only drawback, the animation!
The boys on the beach in the morning got busy proposing the water Gym, group dances and the long-awaited "aperitif game".
In the afternoon the animation (ghost), as scheduled, should have been in the pool.
The head animation always on the phone and the few things that were organized by her were nothing short of embarrassing and not very suitable for the little ones.

We stayed at the Pellegrino Palace Hotel from 21st to 28th August. The place is beautiful surrounded by nature. The friendly and very kind staff, good and fresh food, very good waiters and always available. Good animation, with Gio and Rosa who never made us bored. Definitely a place to go back!

We have just returned from a week in the hotel. Widely satisfied with the availability of the staff in general: receptionist (Annamaria) always helpful and smiling, super nice and attentive restaurant staff (in particular Enza and Ilenia and the maitre d '), room attendants ready for every request. The buffet is always well stocked and the dishes are varied and well cooked. The beautiful swimming pool, equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, the beach right in front of the hotel (with assigned place), the tennis court and the ping pong table have certainly cheered us and our kids.
One drawback: we expected the (advertised) animation typical of the villages, but this element is practically non-existent. The 2 animation guys, albeit always kind and willing, left almost in disarray by the animation manager, mostly busy with alternative occupations (lifeguard, bartender) or talking on the phone. The times of the (few) activities almost never respected. Fun water aerobics / group dances in the morning on the beach; for the rest just a little baby dance in the evening and nothing more. There is practically no entertainment for children / adults; no initiatives, no involvement. The only evening show proposed (throughout the week): to forget! Definitely to be reorganized and strengthened.

Excellent structure with nice rooms, clean, with spacious wardrobes and with large terraces. There is a large swimming pool (attention: caps mandatory!) That is always clean, with lots of sun loungers, umbrellas and sofas and a bar area. The beach is right in front of the hotel / residence and is equipped with umbrellas and deck chairs. The restaurant is excellent, the food is always good and varied with a large buffet. There is also a tennis court available and a ping pong table. Reception staff always available and professional. Very nice waiter (in particular Enza and Ilenia) and chefs from 10 and praise, both for skill and for sympathy.
What is really wrong is the animation, not so much because of the 2 boys (Eleonora and Stefano), who, although inexperienced, were busy, but because of the head animator who did everything (barman, lifeguard, etc.) unless the animator. He was on the phone all day, did not organize anything, did not involve and did not participate. At least 4 or 5 animators (with experience) would be needed, as in all villages. Then everything would be perfect.

Excellent structure is also good for people with disabilities, the rooms are large, clean, quiet and furnished in a sober way. It is really close to the beach just across the street parking them is convenient. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained as are all the common areas. I did not give five stars because the buffet that was presented daily was repetitive and lacked small but important oversights, however the food was good and an applause to the young and polite waiters. Most likely I will go back to spend a pleasant holiday like the one I spent.
