Reviews
On Booking.com, it was beautiful! And we saw that it had good reviews, but it's not! There was stains all over the walls, the bed wasn't even made, the toilet is disgusting, and the room smells like PEE!! They even refused to give us our 165 Euros back! We had to dial 119 because the exit gate was closed and no a single key fit the door! This hotel is a SCAM! The images advertising it are fake! It hasn't been cleaned in years!
The hotel has no official entrance, no lobby, no common area and no available facilities. It feels more like indoors camping rather than a decent room offered for adults. The building is old, very old, not charming old but just strangely smells old. They try to make it up with fake electric diffusers that probably make it even worst. The elevator is small. So small you need to choose whether to use it for yourselves or for the luggage. Not an easy choice my friends when there are too many stairs to climb. The room itself looks like something that was put together during a Boy Scouts summer camp activity. All furniture were light, unstable (the toothbrush holder even fell off the wall during the night) and everything but comfortable. The bed was probably the worst part as it had the base of a foldable bed and a weird semi fluffy mattress. It was noisy and creaky but well, we just had to stay still during the night, no biggie.
We survived the night to take a shower but that was a problem of another level. The shower is in fact a plastic tube in the middle of the room and looked like nothing I’ve ever seen in a hotel before. It was small with absolutely zero water pressure and significantly contributed to us feeling in an expensive yet not luxurious summer camp. Both the shower and the toilet had no windows and the room smelled of humidity.
The location of the place is great indeed but it just doesn’t justify the outrageous price of the room. I highly recommend you to choose a better place and deeply regret not doing the same.
Cons: only cons is that they close for two hours during lunch, however they stayed opened until 8 pm. No flexibility for half day rate due to their cleaning schedule. (Only reason I’m giving a 4 and not a 5 star)
We took the most expensive room (200€ daily rate) which had the lovely terrace and a suite and we do not regret. It was a great experience and we would definitely come back
You can’t get a better location than the center of town. It may be a bit noisy on the weekend, but things calm down around 10:30 and start to quiet down. It’s dead silent between 23:00 to 07:00 on weeknights.
Do you want access to the center of Treviso? Book this hotel. You will not be disappointed!
I stayed here specially for the view and was more than satisfied with it.
On the top of the location, the room was very beautiful in modern design with tourist guides of Treviso and the region, photography and literature books.
The stuff was extremely helpful with great English and kind hospitality!
There are no options of breakfast here, but it is not a problem being situated in the square full of cafeterias and restaurants.
Just pay attention that the guest house is NOT ACCESSIBLE, on the third floor without elevator.
