Hotel Le Corderie in Trieste

This place is ok for the day or two but no more then that.
And I don't agree that it is 4 star hotel. Staff is wonderful and they deserve 5 star for sure. Very nice lobby but rooms..I mean they were clean, air conditioning is working like tractor 😂, but there was something off...I don't know what...but something..
Location is ok but it's up the hill so prepare for that and it's up the hill!

We stayed at Le Corderie for two nights. It's a bit outside the center, about a 20-minute walk. But that's not a problem. The hotel doesn't have its own parking, so you have to drive around a bit, but we were usually able to find free parking nearby. At first, we had a very noisy room because the air conditioning was installed right in front of the window. But we were able to change rooms without any problems. The staff is very polite and accommodating. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room didn't work properly, so it was a bit warm overnight. We didn't book breakfast, as you can get a delicious breakfast anywhere in Trieste. But what we saw at the hotel looked very good, even for the price of only 10 euros. All in all, we highly recommend the hotel for a short trip to Trieste. A few minor flaws, but very acceptable by "Italian" standards. And at a fair price. We would come again.

The hotel is in a very quiet and peaceful place. It is quite a long walk from the port: 30-40 minutes, and you need to take into account that you will have to walk uphill (it is very difficult with suitcases).
But at the same time, the walking path to the hotel from the center / from the port can pass through the main attractions of Trieste (the Fortress, the Roman arch, the Roman theater, the church), all of them are within walking distance. In the fortress there is a good observation deck (access after 19:00 is free, that is, without buying tickets) and a bar on the observation deck (though there are practically no free seats in the bar - it is a rather popular place)
The hotel is clean and cozy. The room has clean linen, a comfortable bed, good lighting. Kettle and tea accessories, Access at night (23:00 - 07:00) by code on the door, since the reception is not open at night

Nice quiet hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Various and delicious breakfast.

A great discovery this hotel where we had a very good stay. Everything was perfect, a very friendly welcome and a very nice room.
We had an excellent breakfast with quality products and a large choice in a beautiful room.

Together with my colleague, we had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Le Corderie for more than 2 months... So there was enough time to collect and evaluate a lot of impressions :)

It is a very nice place, very homey and cozy.
It is so thanks to the very pleasant and intimate interior and of course thanks to a few people who manage the hotel and take care of the guests.

This human factor is very important, we can say the most important! Everyone who works at Hotel Le Corderie is friendly, open to conversation and always ready to help.

Every day in the hotel begins with a beautiful breakfast, carefully, even artistically prepared. You can see the heart and wishes for a good day in it. It's something unusual and these little details are amazing.

Definitely this is a place where we would like to come back and if you plan to visit Trieste - this place is the best choice.

I stayed for one week at this hotel and can only rate my time there as a 5 star experience. Thank you so much to Rosella, Giada, Nikolas and the entire hotel staff!
