Hotel Resort Mulino a Vento

This is our favourite hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff and service in every section were amazing.
The photos are good but it is even better in person.
The room we stayed was spacious, clean, modern.
Breakfast was outstanding!!
Restaurant on site which was great and a few great restaurants in walking distance. Very close to Otranto by car also.
Outdoor gym + bike rental + ping pong table a really nice touch!
We will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Borgo Mulino a Vento Resort and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Here are some highlights of my stay:

Staff and Service: The staff at Borgo Mulino a Vento were incredibly friendly, professional, and multilingual. Their warm hospitality made the entire experience feel welcoming and comfortable.

Dining: The menu offers a delightful variety, including excellent vegetarian options, and the wine list is superb. Every meal was a culinary delight.

Facilities: The pool area is beautifully maintained and spacious, even when the hotel is fully booked. It’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun.

Entertainment: Evening animations are organised (eg: typical Puglia buffet, or music bands,…) and also visits to the on-site mill. The bar is fantastic, offering creative cocktails and staying open late enough to fully enjoy the ambiance.

Accommodation: The bungalows are beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. The bedding was particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest.

Pet Friendly: As a pet lover, I was thrilled to find the resort is pet friendly, making it an ideal choice for those traveling with dogs or liking the presence of cats.

Wellness: The resort offers a wonderful selection of massages, adding an extra layer of relaxation to the stay.

Location: perfect to visit Lecce, Otranto, Santa Maria de Leuca (and the marine caves, etc…)

Overall, the family run Borgo Mulino a Vento Resort is a fantastic destination for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.

The resort is very clean and peaceful. Breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean and have a nice shower. Major downside are the prices and the location. The village next to the resort is very small and does not have many facilities like good restaurants and only a small supermarket. The resort itself is really expensive regarding food and drinks. 4eu for cappuccino (in Italy?!) 7eu for orange juice and also the restaurant is really expensive especially regarding the size and quality of the dishes. Other services like a baby bed and laundry service are also paid and more expensive than usual.

Absolutely great. Love everything here. Great staff. Beautiful pool. Great to relax. Love the breakfast.

Pleasure to be here, we are the only English speaking guests, not a problem for the staff as they communicate effectively. Rooms lovely and we'll kept, WiFi goodish. Food and service great, wine yummy

I liked the place. I can’t definitely complain about food since both the buffet breakfast and the dinner were really nice. I strongly recommend to try their pasticciotto: the best single piece among the various pastries!
