Asia Hotel

It’s cheap and cheerful but that’s it. It doesn’t say online but you have to pay extra for hot water even if you didn’t select a room without hot water. There is air con in the room but they will take the remote unless you also want to pay extra for air con as well. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom (probably have to pay extra?). The towel in the room was yellow with dirt. The man at reception was very rude on arrival, acting as though we hadn’t made a booking. We asked the lady at reception how much was laundry she told us $1 per kg. When we arrived later with it the same man told us it was $1.50 until we pulled him up on it. The rest of the staff were pleasant but he made us feel very unwelcome. Don’t expect any extra information or guidance for tours, food or anything. We were hassled every time we stepped outside the hotel by tuk tuk drivers, fighting between which one will take us, they should give recommendations on a tuk tuk driver if they are going to be outside the front door of the hotel all the time.

Well located and staff super friendly and respectful! But rooms aren’t super clean (especially under the bed) and there are ants everywhere in the bedroom coming through the bathroom ventilation, electric plug, windows.. wherever they come from it was really annoying because I couldn’t lie in bed without ants on me ... The hotel is nice but they have to do something with the ants!

Decent place. Basic amenities but very convenient location. Walking distance to many places. No breakfast n restaurant. Good price through Agoda. Nice staff.
