Liva Hotel

Līva Hotel is located in the center of Liepaja. There are shops, bars and cafes next to the hotel. The Old Town is right across the road. It took me 25 minutes to walk from the bus station to the hotel: a straight road which is super convenient.
The room is cosy and neat with a teapot and all the rest.
Breakfast was great: not a la carte but delicious and enough to keep one full for a day. I paid extra 12€ for my breakfast.
The hotel is nice and clean. Unfortunatelly, I didn't take the pictures because I was blown away by the beauty of Liepaja but trust me, you won't regret if you choose this hotel; especially if you prefer comfort.
I will add the photos of the city. I bet it is 1000 more beautiful in summer.

Excellent hotel in central Liepāja. Breakfast was good (watch out for the birds if you want to sit outside). Room was spacious, clean and cool, there is both a fan and AC. Lots of restaurants at walking distance. Beach also easy to reach.

Bus and train station can be reached by tram (tickets 1,50 from the driver).

Despite the very reasonable price, I got a cozy, immaculately clean room equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The added perks, like parking in a secure closed area and the high level of safety measures (restricted stair and elevator access), made me feel at ease throughout my visit. Plus, having access to the gym included in the price was a fantastic bonus. Overall, a fantastic value for money with top-notch amenities—I'll definitely be returning!

Freshly renewed hotel. My room was clean and cosy. Yes it is about oldish style - but everything was really nice and I liked it. Very good breakfast

I stayed here with my two small kids while passing through Liepaja. The rooms were simple & functional, I didn't expect more or less for the very affordable price. Service at the reception was friendly and clear, parking right in front of the hotel's door. Breakfast was absolutely great, exceeded my and my kids' expectations!

Let's start with the bad.

The rooms were quite noisy, I could very well hear everyone, especially in the morning. It sounded as if someone was renovating their hotel rooms. I was simply trying to sleep...

It was very hot, the thermostat wasn't controllable. The only thing you could do is open the windows, but that would let in the street sounds and possibly wake you up.

I didn't like the beds nor the pillows. I did not have a very good sleep over there... The mattress was quite hard.

I unfortunately had a clogged shower, but I got another room at the reception. So good service for that!

The good:

The service is good. I speak Latvian so I can't tell how well the personnel speak English there. Probably quite well if it's someone younger.

There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores in walking distance, which is nice!
You get a parking ticket at the hotel, so the parking is free.

I had a business trip and had to use the notary office, which was literally 3 minutes of walking from the hotel.
Which was perfect for my trip!
The views outside the window can be nice, if you get the right room.

I would recommend this hotel if you have a short business trip in Liepaja. But don't expect super luxury sleep :(
