Where to stay in Ventspils

Great location- everything is a nearby, friendly staff, quiet room and a quite comfy bed. It really needs refreshing- it feels like the time has stood still since 1990 in there... It' s cheap though. WC ventilation was surprisingly loud. Breakfast choice was quite small, but tasted OK. Coffee was good.

The room was beautiful, and had travel cot as requested. As a cleaning business owner I inspected the room (I know I'm naughty 😁) It was very clean, only 2 minor things -the drawer had crumbs in and toilet brush holder contained some water. Would of been nice to have some coffee in room. But the breakfast is different story. There was no baked beans left when we arrived, and when asked none provided...

Rooms are basic and outdated but acceptable to stay for few nights. Buffet breakfast is ok. No restaurant in evening but there are many restaurants around to go to. Location is very good.

I really love the hotel, everything is awesome, but the breakfast is not as it used to be. I've found some small bones or something in the pancakes and a hair in the oatmeal they serve.

Good service. Some few complaints over minor things, such as a low quality toilet and shower. The included breakfast is decent, and has a variety of common and Latvian dishes. Cleaning is decent and the beds are properly made. The price is right, I'd recommend going here and may come back myself.

Very nice lady on reception, numbers very clean, newly renovated, we got nr 312 it's very nice,clean and modern, was very surprised for 3* hotel to be so nice. It's very good location close to all amenities... Definitely come back

Camping near the sea was an incredible experience. Waking up to the sound of waves and stunning views made it unforgettable. The campgrounds were clean and well-maintained. Perfect for those seeking tranquillity and a deep connection with nature.

Love this place ! We stay there with my family , but Toilets( is so dirty) , light is so bad :( But I love fact there have showers and kitchen

Beautiful view, close to the ocean. Not too crowded, good cafe, showers and kitchen. The camping is overall quiet, the people are very friendly. Planning on visiting again.

Very, very liked. Wonderful apartment. Nice hosts. Everything you need is in the kitchen, living room, shower. There is a sauna for an extra charge (in the same room). Near the beach, pier. Catering is closest right next door. I recommend.

Great place for 10 people :) has three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom. All equipment :) nice hostess!

A great place to stay with your family. A lot of space. There's everything at home - besides all the equipment (as usual), there are other things you need (dishwasher, kitchen towels, toys and games, etc.). Nice and helpful hosts.

A really nice place to stay, the staff is polite and helpful, rooms are pretty and clean. Would recommend.

Sound and smell isolation is very poor. In the morning our room smelled eggs and everything what guest was cooking in the morning. No air condition was found or mirror in the room. Staff very helpful, location is ok. Room was big and clean.

Quiet place with nice rooms and apartments. It has a nice patio where you can make a bbq and also has a kids area to play

All great, for this price perfect choice. The only disadvantage is weak walls. You need to wisper to let your neighboorhood sleep. But in general I highly recommend.

Incredibly tasty food. Large portions and not overpriced. The staff are just hard working angels. Just go eat there You won't regret!

Close to the sea. Large portions and friendly prices. Home cooked meals, nothing too fancy. During the summer you can sit outside in glass terrace.

Had to wait in line for a while to get a table and honestly have no idea why everyone was waiting to get in there. Food was absolutelly tastless, meat was overcooked and dry. Waited 15 minutes to get a bill, nobody brought it, so had to go inside and pay it.

Probably my favourite restaurant/cafe in Ventspils. The food is really good, and the last time I went I loved sitting in their outside covered area. The staff are friendly. The service is excellent, and it's pretty close to the beach and the bus stops to the rest of town.

We were here just for dinner. Large portions, tasty, good price. Delicious kwass. Not far from the sea.

We went for breakfast. Ate cheese and curd stuffed pancakes. They were delicous and I ordered tiramisu which was lovely too. Coffee was ok.
