Palmon Bay Hotel & Spa

The hotel was lovely, and the staff were genuinely great, treating everyone with care. However, I’m unsure about how racially friendly the environment was.

During checkout, I repeatedly asked if there were any outstanding payments, especially since we’d had a massage that wasn’t part of the all-inclusive package. The receptionist assured me there wasn’t. However, she kept me waiting for a long time while attending to others who arrived after me, which was frustrating. Eventually, I got upset and reacted before she finally addressed me.

When I got to my car, she came running, claiming I owed money. This was incredibly confusing and upsetting because I had clearly asked about this during checkout. Her behavior made me feel as though she was accusing me of trying to steal, which was humiliating. Later, one of her English-speaking colleagues came to apologize for her actions, but the damage was already done—I was genuinely embarrassed, and it’s hard to describe how that felt.

Aside from this incident, everything else was great. The food was amazing, and I really enjoyed spending time at the beach across the street and relaxing by the pool.

The breakfast options were very inclusive, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I’m usually someone who skips hotel breakfasts, but this time I didn’t—and that’s just how good it was.

The rooms were decent and offered a great view, which I appreciated. However, during our stay, there were power outages, and the hotel didn’t seem to have any contingency plans in place. This was quite concerning, especially since it was summer and extremely hot. On the bright side, the rooms were cleaned daily, which was nice.

I think it’s just so expensive but received bare minimum. Just don’t have high expectations

First time ever that I've felt so compelled to write a Google review. Spend just one night in the hotel, had an amazing time, and the staff was so great every step of the way that I had to come here and give all the stars. I hope everyone there gets a raise every week. Will be coming back often.

Our stay at the hotel was amazing. The service was great. The staff was really friendly and helpful in every way. Ivana at the terrace restaurant was brilliant in her service. Me and my partner really appreciated it.

This hotel is phenomenal, the location is perfect lots of restaurants to experience various types of food, not that there’s anything wrong with the buffet food it’s near perfect with lots of choices. There are also lots of local businesses surrounding the hotel to shop for souvenirs or snacks. The staff and the service have been nothing short of excellent the rooms are exceptionally modern and the staff work very hard to maintain the cleanliness of the hotel and maintain a prompt service. There’s 2 shallow pools if you have little ones or if you fancy a cheeky cocktail without actually swimming. I’ve tipped the staff for the service I’ve experienced and I’d encourage any future guests to do the same. The only downside I noticed there were no bins situated on the hotel grounds which I can imagine adds extra pressure to the staff to collect the guests rubbish and dispose of it. Overall I’m delighted with my experience and I’ll definitely be back- until next time Montenegro 💖

The hotel is perfectly located for all the restaurants along the front and evening entertainment, but far enough to not be noisy at all. The rooms are modern and very comfortable, and the WiFi in the rooms and around the hotel, pool, and private beach is excellent. The beach isn't really a traditional beach, but is one of the best as its private. The water was cold in July so be warned! The pool is a really good size. The rooftop restaurant is ideal for some drinks with a great view. The hotel layout is very peaceful and beautifully done.

Watch out for the lifts, they encourage you to use the one closest to reception but there is only one and you can wait a long time! We used the two that go to the restaurant and just walk back through to the rooms.

We did bed and breakfast only as there are so many food options around for a good evening meal.

Everywhere was spotlessly clean. They are very precise about not checking in before 2pm and were a little hesitant at the pool too give us towels without a room number but they did, so it was fine, but reception should give you a ticket or room number so you don't feel awkward.

Overall though, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here. The little towns nestled around the water at the bar of mountains means it is very picturesque.

Loved my stay in this hotel. Super friendly and well trained staff, tidy rooms and delicious food. Very nice spa with reasonable prices and professional physiotherapists. The hotel pool and beach access are amazing and family friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. We travelled with our 5 month old baby and the service we received was absolutely first class. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly.

The pool and beach is really lovely, with stunning views of the bay. The indoor pool and spa is also a nice bonus! Lots of nice chill areas with comfy sofas. Roof top bar and pool side bar offered good quality food and drinks. Our room was on the smaller side but finished to a good standard and very well laid out - nice big wardrobe, good shower.

Breakfast was also nice - good range of options!

Really lovely hotel. Room on small side but perfectly adequate and kept very clean. Beds comfortable and shower great. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

We had no issues with the food despite reviews we read. It's not burgers and chips if that's what you want, but more like home cooking with local dishes. Not many veggie choices though.
We loved the country and the hotel and intend to return for a longer stay so would recommend it.
