This hotel is great if you want to get rest, its situated in the end of promenade so you have your peace at night away from clubs and peoples. Beach is in the front of hotel (200m), but we prefered to go in the center of Igalo which takes 20mins from hotel by walk. Food was okay value for money, and prices in the restaurant in hotel are affordable. Staff in hotel were great and very friendly to us...

It's a very good place for us. On the edge of the Igla, between wild greenery. In front of the hotel is the church and in front of the church is the end of the Montenegrin Riviera. The center of Igalo is 5min walk and HN is 20min. Price and quality is excellent. App 3 rooms, small kitchen with very modest selection of dishes. Food in restaurants is perfect for a very good price, so it's not worth cooking...

Wonderful and honorable stuff. Cheap staying in the middle of nowhere, closest beach is the worst, go by car and visit other places. Ask locals for renting boat, we got a great deal for 80 euros for a day with driver :)

Truly enjoyed our stay in the 1bdr apartment. Very comfortable. It’s 10 minutes from the city and beach by walking. Parking and garage also available. Had to wait for the receptionist during check out time- was annoying maybe you put a mailbox next to reception.

The apartments are very spacious, bright and fully equipped with everything you need, from dishes to appliances, including a dishwasher. Huge hotel with promised free parking, but their parking capacity is maybe 80% of the needs, so luck factor is there for finding a lot. The hotel is old, more like 2 stars if we follow Western standards. The beach is not private contrary to what is written. Note 2 beach bars/clubs nearby so if you don't like the noise avoid it because it's there all day and night (impossible to relax at the swimming pool for example and you can hear it from the room too). Everything is really nice here, except you will have to walk on a stairs for a while because the apartment is up on the hill, just like most of the houses. A beautifully located hotel in a location a little bit remote from Herceg Novi. Huge plus points are the team, the cuisine, the views over the bay and the gardens. First trip to Montenegro and stayed in early June for 9 nights and the weather was high 20s - low 30s. Lovely hotel, staff and especially the scenery around the Bay of Kotor. We absolutely loved our week at the Perla and would love to go back one day. We have 2 kids (11, 8) and they had a blast. The hotel is new and elegant, and the reception is friendly. The rooms are a bit small. The rooms overlooking the sea are better than the rooms at the back, because the rooms at the back have a river or stream that needs maintenance and have a bad smell. I recommend the rooms overlooking the sea.

Second time here, but this time in a new building. Nice room, excellent soundproofing between rooms. Everything you need (water, tea, coffee capsules, slippers, robes…) is available. We had a room with a view of the bay, quiet and beautiful. The Internet was disconnected a couple of times, but this problem was quickly solved after contacting the reception. It’s my second time this year staying here and it’s one of my favourite. Rooms are very spacious and modern, rooms with marine view are a dream to sit with a coffee on the balcony and enjoy the marine views. Their new beach club is great also, only issue is I wish they would put sand on the beach instead of stones as the stones are not so nice to walk on and become bigger as you walk I to the sea...

Great hosts, amazing view, next to the beach. Clean and simply perfect for what it is, top value. Spacious parking in the shade across the street, highly practical. Also, Kumbor is not too densely populated and is such a great alternative. Beachfront bars and restaurants below the property are great value as well.

Portonovi Resort is the most luxurious in Montenegro, offering top-notch amenities, stunning sea views, and elegant accommodations. It's a perfect spot for those seeking a premium experience on the Adriatic coast. All the clients Tivat Limo has driven from Portonovi were extremely satisfied.

We got access for a small pool, not really cleaned with a lot of chemicals smell. The nice pools you see on the website - we have no access to them. It is misleading as you see beautiful pools that you cant use...if we knew it before we would take a room with a pool. The beach is very nice with good service and access.

To be honest, the only reason why I mention this place is because the resort is built on the spot where the navy headquarters once stood and I served there in the marine corps almost 3 decades ago. I have fond memories from that time and some life lasting friendships. I must say that I'm ambivalent about fancy hotels, that means nothing to me.

My room was a bit dark but clean, with small kitchen, nicer bath, big balcony, decent internet but not really the international tv channels the site boasted. Most local and russian ones. Cleaning was fine. One longer power cut during the week. 80 meters to the beach.
