The fact you're on top of a shopping complex may seem like a negative, but it actually comes in quite handy when you need something the hotel doesn't provide (not much). Fantastic location (above shopping centre with supermarket) in victoria which is central for public transport. Staff incredibly friendly, our aircon temporarily stopped working late at night and the staff on desk were super attentive and fixed it within 5 minutes. Rooms are immaculate. This hotel should be much higher than 3 stars as the service and general amenities are outstanding.

This hotel is by far the best I have ever stayed in. Some people say the location is not great but I think it’s the best thing that the hotel is located above a busy shopping centre! We’ve enjoyed our trip to Gozo in this quirky restored farm house. we didn’t really have any major issues, however there was a damp smell under the sink and in the downstairs toilet, the showers were honestly a trickle and the oven took hours to heat up.

We had a 3 night stay at The Carob Tree. Everything was spotlessly clean, breakfast was lovely. Matthew and Clementa were very helpful. Matthew’s helped us plan our days and we enjoyed every recommendation. We wish we could have stayed longer and will be back.

Beautiful property located within walking distance of Victoria. A real oasis of peace and calm. Matthew and Clementa were so welcoming and offered great advice on walks, restaurants and sights. We based ourselves here and were able to complete most of the Gozo coastal walks. Good public transport. Would highly recommend.

It was our second stay in this marvelous boutique hotel. From the cleanliness and calmness that you find once you enter the door you can't not enjoy your stay even if it's only for a 1 night stay! The place was very clean. The personnel were very attentive to our needs, especially since I am lactose intolerant and at the morning breakfast, I found alternative milk that I had requested waiting for me. This beautiful, quaint boutique is quiet and very well kept and just a few minutes away from the Xaghra piazza filled with restaurants and Victoria. I will definitely visit again.

After the noise and chaos of Sliema we fled to the peace of Gozo, and the beauty of the St Patrick's Hotel. The location is stunning and the hotel is beautiful in an old-fashioned way. We had a seaview balcony whic felt almost above the waves. The staff were very helpful and friendly, advising us on the Gozo Carnival, which was great fun, and also the local sights and restaurants.

We stayed 9 nights in the Farmhouse of the Cornucopia Hotel, and it was absolutely lovely, even better than I expected. The farmhouse is a separate building within the hotel’s grounds. The Cornucopia Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good. We were told we had been upgraded but our room fell short of what you expect in a 4. star hotel. The mattress was awful, you could feel and see all the springs, the pillows were lumpy and poor. The patio door to the balcony did not lock. The door to our room was difficult to lock & unlock, taking 30-60 seconds to open...

The place is very comfortable. The staff are very friendly. The system for the breakfast is very good to avoid waste. They use local products.The rooms are spacious and super clean. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The pool area is organized and the pool is not very deep. The view from the pool is breathtaking. This is our go to boutique hotel every time we visit Gozo 3/4 times a year. Situated in the beautiful village of Xaghra it’s a real gem. Wonderful friendly hosts where nothing is too much trouble. We went May June and July, we enjoyed it all, the staff were very helpful, the pool has sea water which we prefer, the rooms are big and have a kitchenette, and most of all the Internet is good which some hotels do not have or you have to pay for it. Definitely we come again.
