Cornucopia Hotel

Had a really great stay at this hotel. Nice room with an incredible view (we had the Valley view room and the Citadel at night was incredibly beautiful). Two pools and wonderful grounds. The staff and people who run this hotel are lovely. Always on hand to offer advice and point you in the right direction and incredibly friendly. I really appreciated the fact that on our last day, they let us use all the facilities long after we had checked out - we had a late flight and it was nice to come back from exploring to just chill by the pool with a book.
If you want a romantic break away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland I'd highly recommend this place. And spend the extra money on the valley view if you can. Well worth it.

A lovely first visit to Gozo and very pleased to have stayed at the Cornucopia Hotel. All the staff are pleasant and obliging. The food was good although there was very little variation to the breakfast menu, but being a buffet meant we could choose from the array of hot cooked food, cereals, fruit, yogurts, breads and conserves and pastries.
Our room was really nice with a large balcony overlooking the Marsalforn Valley.
The Jet2 rep Terry came one morning to see us and he arranged car hire for us (£25 per day) They came to the hotel and picked us up and then we had full FREEDOM of the island. Previously we'd done the open-top bus tour which gave us a flavour of what to revisit.
You can walk 10 minutes to the village square where the church is a MUST SEE. Amazing opulence with the stunning ceiling painting and lavish use of gold. There are half a dozen bars and bistro restaurants in the square and close by, between the square and the hotel is the bus stop to Victoria.
We walked to Marsalforn one day by turning right from the hotel and taking the steep path to the left after a quarter of a mile and following the valley path.
All car parking is free on the island which is great.
The island was quite desert-like in October after a very hot summer. If we come again we will choose May instead, so we can witness the well-reported lush floweriness of the island in Spring.
Xlendi is a good place to go in an evening to eat dinner. Very picturesque with the reflections in the water of the bay.

The hotel is very charming and the staff is really friendly. The breakfast was nice, and the rooms are very spacious. The pool areas are nice, and we found enough sunbeds even though the hotel was full. Would recommend!

We were given a surprise gift for our first anniversary at this hotel. We loved it the minute we walked in. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere, warm welcome, professional staff, brilliant views. Our room is spotless, as is the hotel. We will be back for sure.

This is an exquisite family run hotel which cannot do enough for you.
Our room only had a standard double bed which was the only issue we had with the room otherwise it was spotlessly clean and maintained daily.
The food was excellent and exceptional quality and the portion size was “proper northern” they were always asking if you wanted more.
The staff continually went out of their way to help and ensure you had a terrific holiday. They even arranged for us to eat in the restaurant 2hrs early on our last evening as we had a very early morning taxi to take us to the airport.
Overall a lovely hotel that we highly recommend.

Very beautiful, small and cozy hotel in a quiet location. The staff are very friendly, attentive and polite and we felt very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned regularly and towels were changed daily. The food turned out to be very good and tasty. There is currently a choice on the menu and it has not been repeated for 14 days. Kudos to the chef. The only criticism is the numbers. They really need a makeover and will give the whole thing a final "kick" ;-) Another 5 stars from me. If we return to Gozo we will definitely book this hotel!

Cornucopia is a hotel we visit often... the bungalows are ideal for families with children with their own pool and breathtaking views of the valley and sea. The hotel rooms are very cozy and clean. The pool is beautiful especially at night with all the lighting making it so romantic and peaceful... the rooms overlooking the valley are spectacular... the hotel is very clean and the staff are amazing! The manager Brian is such a nice person and always makes sure his customers are happy and satisfied at all times. Peter and Toker, the receptionist, are always very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant is very clean and the food is divine! All staff are taking special precautions to ensure the safety of customers...hats off to all the restaurant staff, especially Maria, Joanne and David for their excellent service 👍

There was a problem with the Wi-Fi in one of the rooms and I contacted the front desk - shortly afterwards Brian (unfortunately didn't get his last name) visited the room and saw a problem that could not be immediately resolved. An alternative room and an improved version were offered. Gladly accepted and problem solved in minutes! Also spent the day in one of the outside pools (there are several) and it was a great relaxing day. Very attentive staff and proactive management. I'll definitely be back soon.

Centrally located on the island, this friendly and welcoming hotel is a great base for exploring. A high proportion of the other guests had returned many times which is always a good sign. Reasonably priced as well, both in terms of accommodation, meals and drinks.

I stayed as an independent traveller but the hotel is also used by package operators.

Wonderful hotel, room furniture is a little dated but perfect as a base in Gozo. The nearest bus stop is ~5mins walk which takes you to Victoria central bus station.

The staff were very attentive, pleasant and polite.

We visited in November, outdoor pools were a little cold at this time of year but relaxing next to the pool was great in the winter sun.

The room was very well sound proofed, curtains also very good at blocking out the morning sun. We had a room facing the island, the view from the balcony was outstanding.

Breakfast was reasonable with a good selection of hot food and cereal.
