After the noise and chaos of Sliema we fled to the peace of Gozo, and the beauty of the St Patrick's Hotel. The location is stunning and the hotel is beautiful in an old-fashioned way. We had a seaview balcony whic felt almost above the waves. The staff were very helpful and friendly, advising us on the Gozo Carnival, which was great fun, and also the local sights and restaurants.

We have just returned to Ireland after having a very pleasant time at St Patrick's Hotel. Both the hotel and Xlendi are perfect for a relaxing holiday. We have stayed here before, and we would stay again. We have a sea view room, as the view is amazing. We went May June and July, we enjoyed it all, the staff were very helpful, the pool has sea water which we prefer, the rooms are big and have a kitchenette, and most of all the Internet is good which some hotels do not have or you have to pay for it. Definitely we come again.

This was a lovely hotel on the beach. Extremely comfortable room lovely breakfast and extremely friendly staff. We were on a hiking trip in February and enjoyed touches like great coffee and excellent showers. We ate in the restaurant downstairs which served delicious food, and we were able to borrow a pack of cards to while away the evening.

Very kind and helpful service. Very good breakfasts. Guests have 10% discount in Zafiro when eating other meals. There is a very pleasant terrace on the 5th floor with a lobby and a wide view for the whole Xlendi Bay.

We only stayed one night so as to avoid the hours long queue for the ferry on Sunday late afternoon. I asked for a seaview room as the Xlendi Bay is quite spectacular. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable with firm pillows. Tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was spacious also. We had good free WiFi in our room and all through the hotel. Great apartment has everything you need the bed was very comfortable. The towels were changed and our bed made. Nice touches of a welcome drink and discount on food if you ate there. Beautiful views, clean and well-sized rooms, run by a really lovely family (who make excellent homemade marmalade). We were there in the off-season (mid March) but it still felt warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Such a great experience at Sweet Life. Francesco is an exceptional host - rooms were equipped with AC, a nice balcony (we had room 7 which has the best view), a bath tub and a TV. Breakfast was done by order and fresh. Highly recommended

In one word : fantastic Kempinski has this homy atmosphere and at the same time the personals is very attentive and caring. We’ve enjoyed our trip to Gozo in this quirky restored farm house. we didn’t really have any major issues, however there was a damp smell under the sink and in the downstairs toilet, the showers were honestly a trickle and the oven took hours to heat up.

Our stay at Hotel Ta’ Cenc was mixed. The room itself had issues – we found ants inside, the balcony was dirty with an old cigarette, and the air conditioning could only cool to 22°C, resetting automatically. The personnel were very attentive to our needs, especially since I am lactose intolerant and at the morning breakfast, I found alternative milk that I had requested waiting for me. What a gem of a hotel. Set in a quiet village about 10 mins from the village square. Ritash and his team are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are good with a small ‘Juliet’ balcony. This is our go to boutique hotel every time we visit Gozo 3/4 times a year. Situated in the beautiful village of Xaghra it’s a real gem. Wonderful friendly hosts where nothing is too much trouble. The Cornucopia Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good. We were told we had been upgraded but our room fell short of what you expect in a 4. star hotel. Perfect! Wonderfully comfortable stay in a beautiful, period-style property that is tastefully designed throughout. Sonia is an amazing host and prepares the perfect breakfast. Excellent location, and free public parking just a few minutes walk away (drop your bags off quickly first then walk back). Highly recommended.

Good location, few steps to the sea. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and owner. Gave advices what do see in Malta, where to park a car. It was nice to have a talk. Very wide breakfast. Very tiny bathroom. The duvet was without its cover. And looks like air con was not working.

This hotel by all means exceeded my expectations, for the price the room was squeaky clean, breakfast was delicious ( and catered to my needs as a vegetarian) and the matress was extremely comfortable. When we arrived at the hotel we had to wait around 15 minutes for the reception to come and greet us. There was no air conditioning in the reception which is really bad because of the high temperatures we have. Room was big enough apart for the bathroom which was very small! One side of the room was all glass to see over the street but there is lack of privacy because curtains did not close very well...

Rooms with terraces, balconies or pools. Cons: on map appears closer to village centre than actually is and although within walking distance, not so pleasant walk due to traffic or if raining. The roof pool is a joke. It is hardly 3x4m and mainly used by children jumping in and out while their parents play with their mobiles nearby. Lying on the deckchairs next to the air-conditioning extractors isn't what one would expect of a peaceful, quiet surrounding. They say it closes at 7 pm but they asked us to leave at 6 pm. It was amazing room, clean with everythingyou need. Booked the room with the pool which was a nice way to chill put and relax. Highly recommended! They even put some balloons and flower petals for my girl as it was her birthday. Very much grateful for their effort.

Spent six nights here at the Calypso in November. Great location with some fantastic walks along the shore road. Rooftop terrace with pool and the rooms with a seaview were the reason why I booked. Would stop again.

The place is okay, but not sure about the four stars. The room was not up to my expectations based on price, but the view and location was great. Was disappointed that they don’t have guest birthday policy and fridge, but breakfast was amazing and they have beach towels which was so useful!

I returned yesterday after a wonderful 2 weeks solo holiday at the Hotel Calypso. On arrival I discovered I had been upgraded to a room with a seaview....the view from my balcony was really lovely. Yes the rooms are a bit dated but extremely comfortable and very clean. Housekeeping was in every day and towels were replaced regularly. Clean and nice location. I can tell the building is old but it was very clean bur the balcony door was nearly impossible to open.
