Very relaxing. The stuff made us feel so welcome. The weather in the winter time on this side of the island is a bit unpredictable and can be windy on the beach.

Everyone is super welcoming, kind and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and compliments the landscape. It was busy but never felt crowded. Everything is very clean. The food and drinks were good. The room is spacious and comfortable - we stayed 3 people in one room. We had a fabulous time! Thank you Veranda!

This was our second visit to Veranda Palmer Beach the first being our honeymoon in 2007. There has been a few changes, an extension to the patio the removal of the gym with the kids club taking it's place and there was also the addition of the juice bar that provided afternoon tea every day which was lovely. The hotel occupies a lovely plot with a beautiful beach and turquoise sea, the boat house provides a good selection of water activities so you can be as active as you like or you can just chill on a lounger. The restaurant is buffet style serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, there was a good choice of dishes (unless you only eat English food in which case you would struggle) The service was good but with a few niggles, the staff are predominantly very helpful and friendly with a few exceptions. We would especially like to thank Faisil ( guest experience manager) for making our second visit as special as our first. Please bear in mind this is a 3 star hotel so the facilities and food/service reflect this.

I was at the hotel with my family for a weekend getaway in May 2025 and it was a pleasant stay. Rooms are kept clean and tidy. A good variety of food is available at the main restaurant. We enjoyed the ambience of Friday evening entertainment which showcased different facets of Mauritian culture. Drinks prepared at the main bar near the pool were fantastic. Special thanks to Mr Kewal and team who did their best to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Hospitality displayed by all staff is indeed commendable. The swimming pool only should be cleaned more thoroughly and chairs at the main restaurant require some upgrading. Overall, it's a very good hotel and value for money.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location. First time to Mauritius and we chose this hotel. Staff very friendly and lovely to chat to. Special mention to Deepah, Ecoban, Yanish, Neelish, Asha, Boodhun and Neilson our driver. Firstly can i say we had the cleanest room we have ever stayed in ( ignoring the tlc the bathroom needs ) - Asha thank you and your wonderful towel art. Restaurant had such a cheerful Deepah, a beautiful person who made her guests very welcome. Food in the restaurant up and down for us. Breakfast was fine but sometimes we struggled with lunch and dinner, the food on the cooler side and lack of variety and choice . But I know they are working on this issue. Location was super and no trouble ever getting a bed on the beach or by the pool. Great days out with Neilson driving and sharing his vast knowledge as we toured this beautiful island. Txs to Faizal for his kindness and effort he is doing to change things.

I came to visit with a friend and we had a great time. The hotel is beautiful, has beach views from the balcony and has exceptionally friendly staff, we felt very welcome! They offer a lot of activities (water skiing, boat tours, afternoon tea, etc.) so you won't find yourself bored but it's also a great place to relax as the beach is incredibly beautiful! I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Mauritius :)

What an amazing experience! From the quality of food to the friendly staff members. The effort of communication for different activities at the resort. Small things like refilling our fridge everyday and cleaning the room to make it look like the first day we arrived! Definitely on our bucket list to return. Shout out to Eddy and Estaban at the boat house down by the beach for just making our stay fun and entertaining !

We visited Veranda Palmer Beach hotel. We are having an amazing vacation. Thank you to the superb, excellent friendly service. 100% service from Eddy who took us for a glass boat ride, we snorkeled. My favourite DJ Estaban who kept us entertained, playing lovely music. He took us for a walk on the beach, horse riding and we had a session of fuseball and tennis. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We can't wait to visit Mauritius again. Please give these lovely gentlemen a good raise, they kept us entertained..👌💯❤️🇲🇺
