The complex is located on the South coast of Mauritius, surrounded by tropical gardens, the extensive grounds of the former sugar cane plantations, crystal-clear waters of the ocean lagoon. We had such an incredible time during our stay!
Everything was just perfect from start to finish.

The food was absolutely excellent - every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were delicious and the atmosphere made it easy to just relax and enjoy every moment.

What really stood out to us was the staff - every single person we interacted with was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It made us feel right at home. Throughout our entire stay, there wasn't a single thing that went wrong or that we would have wanted done differently.

Thank you to the whole team for making our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to come back!

What a superb setting! It was a little paradise. The staff were excellent, super friendly and very helpful. The food was great and there were a couple of restaurants as well as the buffet restaurant. There was plenty to do there.

Towards the end of the holiday the bathroom goodies weren’t being replaced as much and the towels were slightly rough but that was my only concern.

We had the most wonderful time staying in the lovely Awali . All of the staff and everybody there are incredible. They made us feel so so special. We had the lovely 100 candles dinner one evening and Luciano the waiter was so helpful. Friendly and made the evening so special. Anyime we ever asked for anything it was was always met with the response . "Of course Sir" Jo and I want to thank you all so much for a truly incredible and special stay

We had the most incredible stay at Heritage Awali Golf Resort & Spa. I want to give a special mention to Jenifer, Geraldine, Prisca, Pallavi, Stephanie, and Sonia at the Timomo Kids Club — they did an absolutely amazing job looking after our toddler.

They were so friendly, kind, and professional, and we felt completely at ease leaving our little one in their care. They provided lunch and carefully noted down all the important information we needed for our toddler, which gave us complete peace of mind. It made such a difference to our holiday knowing he was safe, happy, and well looked after while we enjoyed some time to relax and play golf.

A huge thank you as well to all the waiters and waitresses across the resort’s restaurants — every single one of them was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special mention to the front of house lady at Infinity Blue who always greeted us with such warmth, and to the Vanessas at Savana, who made every meal feel so special. The level of service and care throughout the resort was exceptional. The food was also excellent.

I only wish our stay had been longer! Thank you to everyone at Heritage Awali for making our holiday so memorable and stress-free. You truly made it an unforgettable experience.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Awali Resort! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning the rooms daily and thoughtfully checked in to make sure we had everything we needed — without ever being intrusive.

From the moment we arrived, every member of staff — from the porter to the waiters — was consistently friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Their hospitality really made us feel at home.

Our kids absolutely loved the Kids Club, where the caretakers were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure the little ones were happy.

Our only disappointment was that we lost a pair of our son’s shoes and his swimming mask, which were unfortunately never handed in to lost and found.

Overall, we had such a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back!

The location and surroundings of the hotel are beautiful, with a pleasant climate, although the wind often blows stronger than usual. The quality of service is good, and the staff does exemplary work. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the furnishings are slowly becoming due for replacement; to this end, tasteful renovations are already underway. The food is of excellent quality, and both the kitchen staff and the chefs perform at a high standard. Overall, based on my experience during the two weeks I spent there, I recommend this hotel to anyone planning a vacation in Mauritius.

Fantastic resort along the South coast of Mauritius. It tooks only 45 minutes from the airport to get there. The sea is awesome as well as the sunset. The staff was professional and always smiling. It is an ideal resort for family, but there are lots of adult-only areas to enjoy the peace of this place. All the restoraunts were extremely good, included the buffet with a great variety of differents type of foods. Activities and escursions can be organized directly there. We'll come back!

We enjoyed our holiday immensely at the Awali. The staff were great, the locations, well the pictures say it all.
The signature restaurants are very good and we also used the facilities at their sister hotel next door, thoroughly enjoyed the Beach Club.

We were disappointed with the buffet and only eat in an evening once and made use of the other restaurants. The breakfast was also OK.

I do feel that the hotel could do with upgrading / remodelling as it is dated. The rooms also, very clean but possibly in need with an upgrade as they are tending to look a bit tiered.

Generally though I would say it’s a good 4* hotel with great staff with an outstanding location

Really enjoyed our stay and enjoyed all the activities on offer. Our kids loved the glass bottom boat trip and the included snorkelling trip daily. The sunsets were lovely.
The rooms however are a little tired and the sunloungers require an upgrade.
The big downside I’m afraid was the service. Some exceptional staff but many seemed disinterested and regularly forgot orders.
Still, it didn’t upset us too much. We were not in a rush any day but I could see how some people were not pleased with their forgotten orders and requests.
Thank you for taking care of us with the late checkout. It made our last day a full enjoyable day.

A Relaxing Stay with Exceptional Service

We had the pleasure of spending the weekend at Awali on an all-inclusive package, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff. A special mention to Krisha at reception, who made our check-in seamless and pleasant.

The hotel room was lovely, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a great space to unwind. Throughout our stay, we were impressed by the attentiveness and professionalism of the team. Nicolas at the bar made fantastic drinks and always greeted us with a smile, adding to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

On Saturday evening, we dined at Infinity Blue beach restaurant, and it was a highlight of our stay. The food was excellent, and the service from Deena was top-notch. She was attentive, warm, and made the experience even more memorable.

Overall, a wonderful getaway with a great team who go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome!
