Where to stay in Male

I have had 4 amazing nights at this resort and one of the many highlights was coming to the restaurant and being greeted by the wonderful Sabina who went above and beyond with taking care of us. We arrived by speedboat transfer on 6th may for a 5 night stay.. we upgraded when booking last year to a water villa and we were given villa 423... we loved every minute of our stay.. staff are so friendly..we loved the allocated table and server idea at meal times.. food was amazing and probably the best we have had on a holiday... It was just a short speedboat ride from the airport, and the pick-up transfer was on time. Love their services and the vibes of the island, I felt really recharged after the trip. They went extra miles for providing late check out (which we truly appreciate) given our late night flight back home. We have stayed at their water villa (best decision ever!!), amazing sea view. We had our honeymoon at Embudu Village, and the trip was magical. The island is beautiful and well kept, and the surrounding water and marine life were amazing. Best resort I’ve been to. From arrival to departure, our butler Shinta was so thoughtful and accommodating. ALL the staff from at Baros is so friendly and always has a smile on their face. The room is cleaned every morning, noon and night. The housekeeper service is in place, and the three meals a day are exquisite, fresh and colorful. I lingered and was already considering coming back next year.

It was an OK stay. I only stayed for one night, nothing spectacular. I just need a bed that night because the immigration officer said the property I booked for that night is not accredited. Typically a easy, clean and friendly hotel for business or just merely for transit. Surprisingly good food considering it as easy lodging. Delicious breakfast and tried their buffet dinner, no complain at all. Sitting right in the middle of the male island, 5 min ride fr all jetty.
