Location is superb in the middle of city center Alor, with restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. No frills get your sleep kind of hotel.

There is a leakage due to the broken water tap in the bathroom. The towels also have a bad smell.

Had an ok-above average experience staying at this hotel. Room was fine, comfortable and considerably clean..Very strategic location - short walking distance to Aman Central..Has basement parking, but the parking space for each car is quite small..
Only one down point from my experience - there's no lift connected from basement to G floor and room floors..As such either you have to load your items at the main entrance, or you have to carry them manually through stairs if you park in the basement already..
Will stay here again if I come to Alor Setar..

- Shower glass screen not able to fend the shower water and wet the toilet

Booked a king room,paid extra through agoda . the check in lady was insisting on collecting only cash RM 50 for deposit and I was not having any cash and had to walk while carrying my toddler to the nearest atm which was the hospital to withdraw cash.after I came back again to check in,was transferred to another person.I collected the key and went out for dinner,few hours later I went to the room only to find out it was a double single bed room.then I asked them why did they give me a wrong room,then they rudely replied oh our rooms fully booked,agoda sent the booking to booking .com and we gave you whatever room was available, so you call agoda la and ask them lah.Contacted agoda they replied it was the hotel policy to give any available room during check in.So next time when you check in don’t hesitate to ask them what type of room they are giving you regardless the type of room you booked online.Very useless hotel management.The only positive thing is the location of the hotel .The room was very dusty and it “looked clean”.bathroom was smelly but “looked clean”.

Booked precisely a standard KING room. Checked in around 3pm ish with my colleagues who booked same room type. They all got king room. While i, who was attended by male staff, who rudely said that the room is subjected to availability. I asked if I get to change room next morning (booked 3d2n). Staff said to ask the morning staff, rudely so. Then I asked the morning staff, who denied my request but at least politely, mentioning that the room is full. Regardless, this made me think twice to come back to this hotel.

Complaint About Front Desk Reception Etiquette
During our check-in, one of the Indian receptionists at the neighboring counter was speaking rudely and aggressively to housekeeping over the walkie-talkie. Her tone was harsh and inconsiderate, making it difficult for us to communicate without raising our voices. Even after realizing that we were displeased, she made no effort to lower her volume and instead seemed to act provocatively.
I expressed my concerns to the receptionist assisting us, who sincerely apologized. However, despite overhearing our conversation, the Indian receptionist ignored us and continued shouting into the walkie-talkie.
Shouldn’t such behaviour be addressed immediately rather than forcing guests to endure such arrogance?
