Hotels in Alor Setar

Stayed here few times when traveling for work. Room is clean and tidy. Your room is either facing paddy field or main road. Breakfast options are ok but can be improved because we noticed certain menu is kind of fixed, especially if you stay for few days. Good hospitality by the staffs. Provides shuttle service to/from airport. Need to improve on room service. Few of us noticed the staff didn't replace...

The room was good - spacious for two. The pillow given was not enough (1 only). The iron was not function and tear my cloth, even with the replacement. The room card access only been given to one person. The food is average (the ingredients were not fresh) and lack of variations.

Only stay there once. Not far from the airport. In overall, my stay was good. Except that breakfast is not what you should expect from them.

Very nice place and hotel. Comfy and clean. Have few types of dishes within reasonable price. Islamic and syariah compliance. 5 star hotel reasonable price. Very valuable choice. With high speed free internet,definitely it fulfill important thing for me as business trip. And for sure , if I bring my family, this provided internet will be one of the most criteria in searching hotel.

Clean room, superb scenery of paddy field. Very near to airport. Need transportation if want to go to city area

Muslim friendly for sure. Nice pool area. Variety of food buffet. Close to the airport and just 15 minutes away from town.

Love the shower and breakfast...the water pressure was good and the breakfast has many variety of choices and it was tasty...the staff was very kind too...not far from city...the room was spacious but a bit outdated...can be improve in future...

Had a great time. Yup this hotel was built way back. We came here twice or more when I was young tagging along my dad when he went outstation to Alor Setar. Small and simple. Situated near (not really that near, you can walk but I suggest you bring your car to carry all the good stuff back) the Pekan Rabu. A lot has changed. All in all, thanks for the pleasant stay.

Nice accomodation. Nice room but house keeping team need to sterelize blanket and etc as my daughter got bitten by bug bed.

Excellent place to disconnect from the world as the WiFi is temperamental & slow when it works! Have complained for 2 days now but the staff here might have an ear infection.

I really liked this hotel. Yes, it is quite old and slightly away from town, but the room was wonderful. It had a very comfortable bed, a desk with chair as well as two reading chairs. The room was very big for the price paid. It was clean, the wifi was good as was the shower. The free breakfast was not very appealing, but there is a great food court - the China Town - nearby.

Old hotel but big room only facilities need to improve. Probably nrw flat screen tv. The wifi ok. Overall average

Despite a nicely built hotel, the maintenance is poor over the years as in Msia! Hairdryers ran out ! During busy checkout left only 1 very efficient Indian lady all by herself, yet during evening hours so many male Malay staff pretty free, how is that possible 🤔. When we were getting our car out of the basement hotel parking, a van supplying products to the back shop blocked the road! We ended...

1) I gave it four stars cuz the WiFi is quite weak and the price per room for two single beds is kinda high as there is no breakfast included. All the equipment are working and the rooms are bright. Very clean too. 2) Service is good at the counters. Parking is available in the basement and it's free.Quite safe because it is bright and has CCTV.( so try not to lose the parking ticket. This is a 2star hotel from the hotel association. Location is very good (next to Aman Central mall and Alor Star Tower). But the room has no wardrobe! Aircond is powerful, same goes for hot water shower. If you are here for just 1nite, then this may serve u well. Free parking BTW but limited at basement.

Near to Aman Central, Menara Alor Setar, Pekan Rabu and other tourists attractions. Helpful receptionists, easy check-in and check-out process. Limited basement parking. Room and toilet was very clean. Can get very noisy at night due to event held at the roof top of this hotel.

It's not expensive. Just nearby Aman Central. The biggest mall in Kedah. Room internet connection was superb!

2 single beds,a very awesome-comfortable-clean bathroom,fully functional faci (a FLAT SCREEN tv,2 port for 3-pin plug,aircondition and many more) for only Rm98.00!!! a VERY GREAT DEAL :D

For a 3 stars hotel, it has provided sufficient facilities for my short trip. Spacious room, basic amenities, tasty breakfast range and even a newspaper in the morning. A bit old and outdated, no complaint as it is worth its price. Recommended!

Although its a abit old and contemporary but have the rustic feeling and alot of ample space in the rooms. Have one of the best amnesties i had in hotels i been to.

Was very satisfied with the room and bathroom..got ourselves a deluxe-room by the way.. the bed was spacious and clean.. Located near Alor Setar city and breakfast provided is was good for the price of RM8 though.. But we were a bit dissapointed with the front desk device

OK for a short stay.. breakfast is alright.. malaysian food will be plain rice, one lauk and fried mee. Western food: potato wedges, scrambled eggs, chicken ham slices, bread. Fruits and some kueh.

value for money. the facilities are a bit dated but a comfortable stay non the less. buffet breakfast is included

Corner lot house located in neighbourhood with ample parking space. Quite good location and room are cozy too.

Budget homestay. Should have do some refurbishment now. Room is clean yet Bedsheet got stains, mattress can feel the spring.

Clean room and comfy bed to rest. We took a quadruple room for our family, just nice. Only problem need to take stairs to the room. Travel light is the best.

location was in a resident area but very near to town and also very near to KTM alor setar. customer service awesome. parking lots for guests provided with FOC. room was quite good and the cleanliness was maintaned well. lowest price per night is RM98, but if you book in online you may got lower than it. cafe inside the guesthouse shut down permanently. there's a smoking area in level two. all acess...

I gave 3 star for the service not because they have a poor service . It is because they have a membership for regular but i couldnt apply because the story keep changing , wonder they really have membership or not haha 😆 1st - Stay here 3 times then u are member here and can have exclusive price 2nd - i went, they say u have to walk in 3 times to enjoy our membership ( i've stayed for 4 times before...

Fairly new hotel, rooms were very clean and amenities per what we paid . It was Rm 86 for a twin room per night. Some food stalls and coffee shops nearby and a lot more choice when you drive out another 10 to 15 minutes away. Staff were very polite and a great help with enquiries and recommendations for dinner choices and nearby places of interest.

Affordable, comfortable and clean. Found this little gem of a place by chance and I love it. Simply brilliant for a traveller on a business trip. Very close by to Alor Setar Mall.

Very clean and great sound proofing. I didnt even hear the noisy swiftlet hotel behind the hotel in my room. Decently spacious family room with 1 full bed and 1 twin bed. Smell new.

This hotel is really worthy for its' price. I have been staying here for two times and I'm sure I will still come back to this hotel in future. The rooms are clean and tidy. Absolutely 5 star rating from me.

Good water pressure to get a relax shower, cool breezing air-conditioning to have a good night sleep and a wonderful swimming pool to wipe off tiredness. Love this place very much!!

This hotel room don t have carpet due hygiene purpose because they don't want the room the be smelly i think. Toilet very big so the room size. 1 think i don't like, need to check in by 3.30pm.

Repeating customer here. Spacious, clean minimalist room. The new wing have tower view. Bathroom's clean, with water heater, very good water pressure. Sufficient plug point. Abundant free parking. Swimming pool are open to hotel guests for certain time frame. Not quite satisfy with available tv channel and unstable wifi though. Online meeting always got disconnected.

All in 1 sports centre. Has badminton courts for rent, futsal court, swimming pool and a dance floor. Is also a hotel

The room and the bathroom are clean and the same as advertised. The location is great near the city center and also near the highway exit. Helpful staff and easy to search for food local and to pin for food delivery service.

The room is the best! Eventhough you can see along the road but you have to find the entrance. I mean the right junction.

Bicycle friendly, can wheel the bike into your room. Very old school, rustic but its clean and room is with aircond tv and water heater. RM50. Very close to food stalls and chinese food courts

The owner is really nice as told. Booked room for single at rm45, got AC and hot shower. Really comfortable and muslim friendly as kiblat and sejadah were prepared. Non-smoking room and no pets allowed. Safety pin num used to enter room and front gate always closed for safety. Really recommended. Surely repeat staying here next time

Very friendly owner. Single room is a bit on the small side but has tv, shower and bathroom. Internet is super fast. Best place in Jitra. Doors have a keypad so, no worry losing the key. Highly recommended.
