The hotel is in the city centre so getting to places is relatively easy. There is a Sunday street market around the hotel, so driving out may be a challenge till noon.

Stayed there in the weekend in December. It was 28RM only, super cheap.
The staff is freindly and helpful. The room is not completely private but not a dormitory. I mean there is a door with a lock but the partition is not completely covered, so you can hear voice from neighborhood easily.
It is not very very centre but walk into busy area in 5 min. The shower is OK and the hotel provides towel. What do you expect more for the 28RM hotel? Very good.

Clean, nice, best dorm to stay in Ipoh town. Dispite it's location it's a bit far from town from walking distance but you can still get food in nearest restaurant. The famous Chinese white coffee restaurant is not far from the dorm. Strongly recommend to stay in.

Everything is perfect. This is my favorite hostel in my whole trip. The hostel is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot water, shared space, wifi,... If I have a chance to return to Ipoh, I will still choose City Hostel Ipoh. Thank you very much!

Clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Common areas were comfortable with good facilities, would stay again if I visited Ipoh again. Thanks!

The worst hotel ever...when to check in around 11 due to road jam .Once reach there..the place already closed .try to press bell for help .no one respond..after 25 minutes a minor girl came ..tell us we was late ..Then went up never return.. ask to wait . Then a customer came ask us to go up using her card. before we went up there were some group of guys came..they were talking between them. Then a guy came and ask us to stay up for a while...there is also another guy who was waiting for room as well .he try to call the owner...the owner said .better u guys go out if not I will call the police and ask us to cancel the booking. We leave the place because they threaten us.
