Anjungan Beach Resort

My husband and I spent 4 nights here and it truly was paradise. The location is wonderful-- within minutes walk to the main night market shopping strip and the pristine Coral Beach. It's like being in the jungle-- cats, monkeys, hornbills all roam free within the nearby trees. One night we even saw a wild boar rummaging through the bushes!

The rooms are large with beautiful wall-to-wall windows and absolutely wonderful balconies. I loved the comfy, large bed, modern shower and vanity area. Lots of storage and even a safe.

The staff is very accommodating and helpful-- they even helped us rent scooters. I was really impressed by the breakfast-- it changes every day and everything we ate was delicious and fresh. There was fresh juice, fruit and coffee and tea out every morning.

The pool area was wonderful, as well! Clean, clear, lots of places to lounge and sit. Sadly, the spa was not working when we were there, but we still enjoyed the pool.

The only minor issue we had was with housekeeping on one day-- noone cleaned our room, despite us leaving the sign out on our door. We asked reception about it in the early evening and were told someone would come at 7:30 pm (we needed towels and our trash taken out) but when we returned at 8:30, no one had come. However, I called reception and they immediately sent someone to collect the trash and refresh the toiletries and towels. I really appreciated that they quickly rectified the issue.

STAY HERE. It is an incredible value for the money, the location can't be beat, and you'll feel like you're in tropical paradise. Great for couples and families-- I hope someday we can come again!

Awesome location which is 2 minutes walk distance to Teluk Nipah. You can access to food easily however the price can be pricey or not so delicious. If you are looking for the Chinese food or cheaper food, suggest to get a car or use their scooters to roam around. Restaurants near the pier area are tastier and cheaper.

For the room condition, the floor is a little sticky when you bare the foot and can spot the mold at the toilet room. Bed is cozy and free from bed bug.

Do remember to close the balcony door when you leave the room as you do not wish to see a dirty room which messed by monkeys!

Hotel staffs are friendly and accommodate our request all the time. Oh ya, their breakfast is good, do try their local food selection instead of usual breakfast.

Great place to stay for the price, very friendly staff. Excellent location with the fish markets and a swag of places to eat right there and a very short walk to the nicest and cleanist part of the island with a few restaurants that target westerners food and drink wise.

Best place for honeymoon and family gathering. There's a lot of food stall and near to do beach activities.
