Walvis Bay, The Esplanade 🧭 Map
They are busy with renovations, however it still seems a bit run down. Had to change rooms due to a few issues, but the recommendations for the change came from them, which was appreciated. The hotel's restaurant can be recommended - the quality and prices are good.
I would not recommend spending more than 2 nights, at this hotel. However, the staff are amazing so friendly and welcoming. We ended up checking out early.
I just had dinner there. We watched the football. We found the food and drinks to be very expensive. The food tasted great but for the price it was a very small portion. Namibians like to eat. For N$162 for a schnitzel. The mushroom sauce was made from canned mushrooms. Also paid N$60 for a Rock Shandy. Come on guys...
Visited the restaurant for Christmas lunch. The exterior of the venue holds alluring scenery. (*Wish i had captured images.) The buffet held an array of delicious savoury and sweet delicacies. The dessert bar was a slight let-down. I would steer towards desserts such as icing cupcakes, red-velvet cake with cream cheese icing; unfortunately, they did not offer those options. A suggestion would be adding...
Views from the room were great. Peaceful in the mornings. The bathroom could improve (in bath shower with curtain is always horrible), breakfast was okay, room service great too. For its price, Marriott can do better
Location is great- right on the ocean. Staff went out of the way to please particularly the guy covering night shift. Rooms were ok, shower was terrible with wrong height and old fashioned, however looks like they are revamping some of them.Try to get a room thats been revamped. Breakfast chef was friendly.

It’s a good place to stay in. It is close to the port. Their restaurant serves delicious food.
One of the best and affordable hotels in Walvis..Best breakfast buffet and neat and quiet rooms..wifi, room service
The place is so welcoming and has good services. Worth recommending for
It was a wonderful experience. Hospitality was great, well friendly and accommodating staffs. Exactly in the middle of walvis bay town close to shopping malls and out accessibilities. I would recommend protecting Hotel by Marriott always.
Lovely place in central Walvis Bay. Had a look at rooms and it looks amazing. I had breakfast here this morning. Very nice Breakfast buffet, we really enjoyed our morning with your Team

Very nice boutique hotel on the waterfront. Conveniently located, secure and very helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, good sized swimming pool. Nice restaurant. All staff were extremely helpful and they even did our laundry for free.
The restaurant here is lights out fantastic. Among the best food that I had in Walvis Bay. All of the dishes were extremely well prepared and everything tasted fresh and intentional. If you are deciding on where to eat in this area, this place must absolutely be considered.
With the view over Flamingo bay, nice and kind staff and nice layout and decoration on the rooms, makes this place a good place to stay while in Walvis Bay. The food served in the restaurant is tasty and fresh. Administration of the place should consider revision and repairs on various amenities and accessories as are falling a bit behind and will downgrade the place value soon enough.

Always a good experience! Friendly, helpful staff. Great food and a small, cozy bar with a fire place for winter.
Comfortabele rooms, good food and friendly staff. Nice small and cosy hotel.
Very nice not too big hotel, friendly attentive staff
A family friendly hotel the staff are so wonderful. Even in these trying times they look after everyone. I send all my wishes and hope 2031 will be a much better year for everyone.
Very nice atmosphere. Customer service is excellent, enjoyed every bit of my stay. They do not have A/C. They do furnish little fans, but if you like cold, this may not be for you. Thats my only complaint. Other than that, its a fabulous hotel.

You cannot wish for a better location or view of the lagoon.
The toilet was not freshly smelling Only one chair in a double room. No tea/ coffee / milk in the rooms or fridge for drinks. The lounge and dining room were neat. The staff although friendly did not understand orders. The eggs were unnecessary hard especially when one specifies how you want your eggs done. One passion fruit cut in half wgen there were more than six guests The sea view was great...
Quiet place, nice for just relaxing and not being disturbed
Lovely boutique hotel. Looks over the lagoon. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Great service and has a nice view of the ocean
Lovely clean rooms, and a good location for some of the better restaurants and tour companies in the area. The staff we encountered were all very pleasant. Breakfast is offered in an area overlooking the sea which is lovely, and the food is good (fruit, bread, continental breakfast, freshly made eggs). It’s possible to leave cars in the off-road enclosed parking area even after you have checked out...

Very beautiful place and outside resort out in the Lagoons
I've not stayed in their rooms yet, but every time I am in Walvis I stop by for a lunch or dinner and drink. Chilled Vibes ❤
Beautiful restaurant and great food and service.
Absolutely fantastic. Thanks to the service staff and especially the art of the chef, I got into the atmosphere of comfort, unobtrusive pleasant attention and professional service! The excellent quality of the dishes, and especially we note the “Paella” from the chef of the restaurant, which wasn't in the menu. Made it possible to spend a pleasant unforgettable evening with a stunning view of the ocean...
Lovely hotel facing the lagoon. My room 211, an unexpected suite is very comfortable and super spacious. The staff, in Namibian tradition, are very welcoming and friendly. I had dinner, the prawns' and although expensive , they were delicious. Very nice experience.

Very nice place just in front the lagoon and very nice host!
Loved the place. Very cosy, clean and the view is spectacular. Special thanks to the hostess!
Did not visit the place but looks interesting. Located close to the ocean with ample parking. Will definitely try it out in the near future.
An eye catching building and a great spot to walk across the road and view the flocks of wild flamingos in their natural habitat. Depending on the season the flamingos can be as pale as sea gulls through to as scarlet as a Rose. As their colour is dependant on the pigment in the Krill they eat in the lagoon
One of the best hotel and accommodation services at the Namibian coast line, and also part of the integral history of Walvis Bay. Situated on the edge of the lagoon, it renders the most amazing views right outside your door step. Not to even mention the great service and helpfulness from the staff and owner. We really love your place.
Didn't stay there but the place looks good. Here are pictures of your morning view of staying there.

Beautifully decorated, rooms, public areas. You feel at home. Owner is very charming and welcoming. Residential calm area.
The serenity that hits you as soon as you walk through the door is unbelievable. Best staff, service and definitely a place you can call home, away from home.
One of the best and luxurious Guesthouses in Walvis Bay.. Quite a good environment and the staff makes sure that all your needs are well taken care of.. I have had an incidence with my shuttle and the lady (can't disclose her name) who works there went an extra mile to make sure that the matter was resolved. The Rez is a place where you will feel home.
Lovely place. The owners are very kind and helpful and you can tell that they worked hard on making this place a cozy home for the guests. Good & warm croissants for breakfast :) ( just one little suggestion would be to propose almond milk or vegetal milk eh eh)
The Rez was such a lovely place to stay, probably one of the nicest, stylish and homie guest houses I’ve ever stayed at! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. They helped us out when our car wasn’t working and made great recommendations for meals and tours. The breakfast was delicious and the room was very modern and had a beautiful interior. 100% would recommend and would definitely stay here...
The Rez will forever be my go-to Guesthouse in Walvis Bay. Hugo and Jason were amazing hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. The place is impeccably decorated and the amenities are above and beyond. Both Jason and Hugo were able to help us book excursion and direct us to some great restaurants and attractions. I would highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic place to spend a weekend away. We had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. See you next time.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms fresh towels everyday. Good hearty breakfast set up. We had to leave before breakfast was served and they made us bread to take with which was very nice of them. Definitely recommend!
Great place to stay. I wish I had taken more photos, but it was absolutely nice and cosy. Very very nice

Picked up guests for a day tour. Fair priced.
Needed a night off the boat, stay cleverly was a good choice.. like home away from home... was able to do some laundry aswell which was much needed. Can ask in advance for washing basket and pegs.. ironing facilities available too on request. Friendly staff and a super friendly kitty roaming about. Comfy bed and pillows. There was a fridge, plates, cups and pots so no need to bring that.. just your...
It's a great place to stay with your family, the rooms are nice and neat.
The place is very quiet. We just didn’t like having ants in our sugar and the room didn’t seem to be thoroughly cleaned. I am not sure what can be done about the adjoining door coz l could hear people in the next room. Otherwise there is a lot of space in the rooms and a fairly big kitchen.
It was clean, neat and very comfortable. Your parking arrangements are, however, of concern especially with the crime record in that area. Your Wi-Fi is also a matter of concern and businessmen or visitors who rely on internet and mail connections may take this into considation. Rather discontinue your DSTV (Africa only channels) service to strengthen your Wi-Fi. Everybody is nowadays able to stream...

Cheap yet affordable to everyone. I highly recommend this place. The staff are so kind and friendly. Wish I could give them 10 stars
Comfortable stay and well located. Friendly host. Slightly difficult to find the place at night. a bigger board would be nice. Keep your eye out, its on the right side when going towards to waterfront
We crashed here on our trip to Namibia. We were arriving here from soosulvei campsite. The stay was comfortable. I would have liked the WiFi speed to be a tad better but I was pretty exhausted to care too much. The place has a compound to park in the vehicle. The staff knows good English and are responsive to any requests.

Its very very nice, gives you the feeling and comfort of home, the staff is helpful and very kind, the food is tasty, the house and the garden is amazing, our delux room had an estonishing bathroom with both shower and a tub, everything made us feel be loved and pampered! Very close just a walk away from the beach side where you can spot and get close to hundreds of flamingos. We loved it, thanks so...
We had a woman's retreat this past Easter weekend at this beautiful guesthouse and their hospitality made us all feel right at home. The rooms were so neat and clean, the breakfast was fresh and amazing. Leon and Anita really have a heart for what their doing. Thank you for accommodating us at last minute and for going the extra mile during our stay. We are definitely coming back.
Friendly and personal reception. Leon and Anita walked the extra mile to make my stay pleasant. The room was beautiful and super clean, the bed very comfortable.
We had a company function here and the service was great, friendly staff. Large boardroom area and an amazing entertainment area with a pool, dart board, pool table and bar.
Cozy, quiet, spacious plus with all the modern amenities one would expect in an upmarket boutique hotel. Suitable for singles, couples or families. Especially suited to the business traveller - has adequate conference, meeting and events facilities too.

Hi guys please rate this guests house five star because it has good room service, security and it's next to a gas station which is easier for you to gas up your car and go to your destination please rate the guest house five stars
Its a nice place to stay around walvisbay area. Around few kms away from the town and located in a calm decent area. Not much crowded. Its a nice secured appartement for the reasonable price. Room was clean and tidy. It will be nice if owner could improve some toiletries. And suggesting to keep atleast two water bottles inside the room, as compliment or payable. i was struggling to charge my phone...
Loved the place being my first visit to the country though should improve on toiletries, they should be provided since most guests not aware of carring there own.
