Very nice hotel, with very nice views. Hotel building is one of the highest in the area so you get nice overview of the city if you get room on higher floors. If not, there is restaurant and bar at top with amazing views.

Nice hotel. Nothing fancy, but nice rooms and a nice breakfast buffet. Pretty much what you want from a hotel. A big plus is the great bar at the top of the building. The elevators on the other hand, are really annoying. It takes forever to get an elevator a lot the time, even if they have this advanced elevator system...

Nice Radisson hotel. It has a really nice view over the city and for breakfast they have a variety of food. 🥖🧈🥚

Nice hotel, very centrally located with small but we'll furnished rooms. Food is delicious, and the service was excellent. Two minor gripes; firstly, if the hotel is busy it can take an age to get s lift that isn't full, and secondly, the AC struggles to cool a room sufficiently, making it can be very warm in the room. Luckily the windows do open a little too help with this.

I stayed here for three days. Everything was clean and our room was quite big. We only got the dishes when we left a deposit if 15€ and it was not very well equipped. Our pot didn’t even have a lid. But other than that everything was fine. In the main room there is a room where you can store luggage if you need to.

Good value prices and perfectly located in Oslo city centre. Absolutely loved the views from the bedroom. Everything you need is within a walking distance. Breakfast choices are big and will accommodate for every taste and diet. The only downside is that there is no hotel owned car park so public parking needs to be used and paid for.

Basic but comfy. Okay sized room, good heating, decent shower and comfortable bed. No restaurant in the hotel but adequate breakfast and easy 5 minute walk to dozens of restaurants. Cheap and cheerful if you just need a base for a visit.

Perfectly located if you need to make your plane in the morning. A beautiful hotel with a magnificent dining room and surroundings. Unfortunately bar was not open but from what I saw it looked great. Rooms are pretty comfortable, however the bed linens are a little too scratchy for me, and the pillows a little to uncomfortable for my liking.

Convenient location. Very close to the central station and the center of the city. The inside is quite nice and they have conference rooms for rent.

Fast, friendly and accurate check-in. Spacious and fresh room with a tub as requested. Good amenities. Breakfast was rather good and fresh, with the normal options. Helpful and friendly staff. The location is superb if you want to see the Oslo city Center and what the most modern area. The hotel is easy to get to by car, airport trains, trains, tram, bus and subway. Had an awesome stay here! Staff are great and helpful. Tasty food. Rooms were clean and practical. Lobby had this beautiful design, same for the rooms. Breakfast is included with all rooms. Great for family, couple and business. Although there wasn't much else to do other than dining or hanging in the lobby due to the Pandemic.

A nice hotel. It was clean and modern. Although the room was one of the smallest I have ever been in. The breakfast was good and varied, but a bit crowded. We had dinner there to and the food was very good.

The location is in one of my favourite areas in Oslo with walking distance to the ocean, munch museum and train station. A lot of hyped restaurants nearby. The breakfast is definitely one of the best in town with their omlette and pencake stations.Cannot wait to book more nights ;)

Spent 4 nights in the smallest room (13meters). No shelves at All for your clothing (had to remove the iron and ironing board to have one very narrow flat surface). Had to use the door-card to lock the room when leaving - didn't realize that until day 2, so my room was essentially open those two days. No shoe-horn in the room. No raised surface (or stand) for your suite case. Mattress slightly slid...

Sophisticated, refined hotel at the heart of a trendy and well-connected neighbourhood. Breakfast spread was delightful, with plenty of healthy options, tea selection and smoothies readily replenished. The Hotel is a bit of a distance from the city centre, and you have to walk around 7mins to get to the tram station, but the staff here are very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast is a feast for kings/queens! All in all, great quality hotel at an affordable price!

I grew up in the area and to me this hotel has always been a goto for my trips back home. The restaurants, especially de 5 stuer has amazing food and drink

Basic functions did not work like the TV (no way to actually control the TV) or the small fridge (which was producing heat). We asked politely if they could be fixed and the hotel staff seemed quite put out.

Once we first go there the staff were friendly and service was great further cleaning service does a good job! Each floor has wall decoration of an iconic building and lots colours through the breakfast room, hallway and bedroom really makes the hotel so lovely to stay in. Great hotel, modern, located side by side with the shopping mall. Restaurant food was brilliant as was the breakfast. Excellent food, great service. You feel that the hotel staff really cares for their guests. The soft boiled egg test was passed with flying colours 😂 The only thing we’d wish was freshly squeezed orange juice. My favourite hotel in Oslo! Rooms are spacious but on other hand very cosy and convenient, with quite big table for convenient work at computer if needed. Breakfast buffet is best, I've seen during my recent business trips around Nordics with great selection of any kind of food, they even have gluten free corner here! The hotel was very clean and modern. It's in the city centre that means you are in 5 min everywhere! Everybody was very friendly! One thing was the room. It was very very small, but clean. For a city trip it's the perfect location!!!

Great place. The location is perfect. The room was nice and clean. The bed was good and so was the bathroom. Easy check in and out by self-service kiosk like in an airport. We also liked the separate but indoor café at the hotel.

Rooms are nice as for this class of hotel. If you are comming with group, you can get good dinner and quite nice service, but: -There is no parking spot for big buses - if you are lucky and it's weekend, they will send you to park at school (very tight entrance). So typical 'we would like to have groups, but we don't care where you park'. - make triple sure that if you contract breakfast for some time...

Hotel in a great location, close to the train station and marina with a fantastic promenade. Numerous shops. Rooms are modestly furnished but clean. Varied breakfast.

Perfect place for a group of 4, for one night. Clean rooms, although not very big. Calm and not noisy, just nearby the station. The breakfast was very good to get the sufficient energy to start the hike we had planned for the same day. Totally recommended for the ones hiking from Myrdal to Flam

Nice hotel- great location! Everything was clean and the employees were so so nice. There’s a free evening meal (dinner to me) Monday through Thursday which is great. One wierd thing is that the windows faced an enclosed courtyard, so there’s not a lot of fresh air in the room from the window. Totally recommend it!

The winter garden with its live piano performances, is super cosy. Great place to sit down with a coffee or hot cocoa and just relax.

One of the absolute best hotels in Oslo. Exquisite service, beautiful and classic rooms and a breakfast dining experience you will never forget. Be sure to try their world famous varm chocolate at breakfast. It’s a classic!

Location is just wonderful, as is the staff. The hotel has an old Victorian style which is perfect for tea parties. As an overnight guest I do prefere a more modern look for the rooms, but that is my personal opinion.

It was very comfortable. First trip out of the Country and I felt comfortable like being in my home. The breakfast was fine food wise. I enjoyed my stay.

We have been here twice in two different rooms; both were very nice but one was substantially larger, we may have been upgraded for our second stay. The hotel was made in the 20s and has a renaissance revival feel with a little British imperialism thrown in. They had one of the best buffet breakfasts we have had in Scandinavia. Also they have afternoon tea (make reservations) that was fun. Very nice...

Comfort Inn Karl Johan is a great place to stay if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place. The location is perfect for those traveling by train or bus. The front desk is open 24/7 and there are even self check in/ out kiosks. The only downside would be the noise at night but it’s not too bad depending on your room.

Good location. Air conditioner supposed to bring in outside air since Oslo prohibits artificial air conditioning, but it wasn't working in any of the rooms and staff said they couldn't fix it. It was very warm in room.

This hotel was so amazing!! I stayed here for two nights for my birthday and everything was so great! The front desk people were incredibly nice and knowledgeable. They were very helpful. All of them. Every person I came across was very polite and patient even in the middle of the night. The hotel has one of the best breakfast set ups I’ve ever seen. This hotel was fabulous! The location couldn't be beat. The price was reasonable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was on small side, which was expected being in the city center of a world capital, but it was very comfortable. If you're undecided, book this hotel. You won't be disappointed!

Good hotel, great room and good staff. Breakfast could be better. For a short visit ideal because of the fact that the airport bus stops in front of the hotel.

Very nice hotel. 10 minutes drive to city centre and 20/25 minutes to the airport. Rooms and baths are comfortable. Tea and coffee in the rooms. I stayed in the standard room and hence i would give the property 3 1/2 stars. It has a nice lobby bar and the breakfast is quite good.

I can highly recommend this Hotel. Location, location as they say. Its connected as part of the Oslo S train station. Just a short walk from the trains ( all indoor) to this hotel in the old Østbanen building. Location, we had a room looking down Karl Johan gate, so it’s very central. Great stay... Clean room, comfy beds, lots of outlets for charging personal devices, and great variety of food for breakfast. Bare minimum toiletries in the room. Half shower wall makes it difficult to keep the rest of the bathroom dry.

Wow what a great hotel. The designers have taken an old world charm with the original building and mixed it with bright and functional new age thinking and the result is very special. This is one of the grandest hotels in Oslo and where the VIPs stay when in town for the Nobel Prizes. I was able to stay here only because this year’s festivities were scaled back for the lockdown. I got a room for around $250. The room was small and had appealing view, but I was barely there. Otherwise, was glad to be there in every way. Including the grand breakfast at the Grand Cafe.

All in all a beautiful hotel, with friendly staff,i would recommend. But its starts go get a bit old, in your room the cables from the chandelier were hanging around visibly and some socket were so loos i was scared to plug in my phone. The Bathroom also had its best years past long ago.

Kinda got lost trying to find my room. But super comfy bed, nice shower and excellent Gin at the bar. Plus the breakfast was a treat.

We stayed one night at Grand hotel. When we arrived our room had been upgraded, and we and got a beautiful and clean room with a superb view. The hotel gives you the feeling of historic grandness, even though some places could be even better with some renovation. The breakfast hall is a bit small when the hotel is full, so the feeling there was a bit hectic. But, the food was great.

fantastic hotel in city centre oslo within walking distance to everything. our room was lovely with a huge bed & soft pillows, 2 chairs on the side for a sitting area, standard bathroom with very nice shampoo and body wash. the breakfast was excellent. the spa was good, but it didn't have a jacuzzi and the pool didn't have any jets for massaging. i can def. recommend staying here. 5 stars.

We‘ve been there for a long weekend City Trip. It‘s quite good located - a little outside of the city Core, but still in walkable reach for everything to visit. The room was good- a casual modern room. A small downer was the „view“, because there is a high living house next door and we felt a little „observed“. And the Lobby is very loud and cold, due to the reception and main entrance beeing there...

My first time staying at this hotel was fantastic. I stayed her from oct. 1-4. The staff there were very helpful and polite. Specially the female staff whom worked during the weekends. My family left on Sunday 3.oct while I stayed until Monday 4. Oct. I asked politely if I can check out just before 2pm. They said YES, definitely coming back her Even thus, I am not really good at speaking Norwegian...

The hotel is centrally located (near the main street Karl Johan's Gate, the Palace, the University of Oslo's old campus and the subway station). The hotel room amenities are great (they feel and look like a serviced apartment than hotel rooms) and the hotel staff can be really friendly and helpful. They also promote less food waste.

Nice hotel, good touch to have free coffee in the lobby. Had a few issues with my payment but the team sorted out for me within a few days. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice even when the hotel was quiet with few guests.
