Hotels in Oslo

This is one of the grandest hotels in Oslo and where the VIPs stay when in town for the Nobel Prizes. I was able to stay here only because this year’s festivities were scaled back for the lockdown. I got a room for around $250. The room was small and had appealing view, but I was barely there. Otherwise, was glad to be there in every way. Including the grand breakfast at the Grand Cafe.

All in all a beautiful hotel, with friendly staff,i would recommend. But its starts go get a bit old, in your room the cables from the chandelier were hanging around visibly and some socket were so loos i was scared to plug in my phone. The Bathroom also had its best years past long ago.

Kinda got lost trying to find my room. But super comfy bed, nice shower and excellent Gin at the bar. Plus the breakfast was a treat.

We stayed one night at Grand hotel. When we arrived our room had been upgraded, and we and got a beautiful and clean room with a superb view. The hotel gives you the feeling of historic grandness, even though some places could be even better with some renovation. The breakfast hall is a bit small when the hotel is full, so the feeling there was a bit hectic. But, the food was great.

fantastic hotel in city centre oslo within walking distance to everything. our room was lovely with a huge bed & soft pillows, 2 chairs on the side for a sitting area, standard bathroom with very nice shampoo and body wash. the breakfast was excellent. the spa was good, but it didn't have a jacuzzi and the pool didn't have any jets for massaging. i can def. recommend staying here. 5 stars.

The price for the room is overpriced, only for the location, I didn’t see anything luxurious

Clean and good hostel with lift to our apartment. 2 tram stops from central train station. Some shops within walking distance. Need to lay your own sheets and return at counter after check out

It is a good, cheap budget hostel. Heating was non-existent. Not freezing but was definitely a bit chilly. You have to grab your own bedsheets and towels when checking in, and drop them off at reception when checking out. Bit of a hassle when you are in a hurry and have to juggle with heavy luggage crossing multiple doors and lifts and key card. Pillows were almost flat - not good for your neck...

The Location and the accommodation is perfect for a group bookings. We are all 7 travellers and they accommodate us in one room. Staff are friendly.

The building is old but well maintained. The studio has a kitchen and you can borrow a set of cooking instruments with 200 nok, if I remember correctly.

It was excellent place and value for money. Location was awesome.

The room was spacious and the location was convenient! The view from the 6th floor was pleasurable as well. The room itself comes with bare minimum amenities and the plug outlet are situated in peculiar areas of the room but at least the shower pressure was nice and hot. If you’re just looking for a room to lay your head down, look no further.

Great staff. Rooms tired and some weird. We changed from the first room offered which seems to be fairly common. Very good location for the main sites.

The staffs were lovely. Our suite was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great. There was so many delicious varieties. I will recommend it to anyone.

Nice hotel. Friendly people. Good food. Located near beautiful fjord, city center, city Hall, Parliament, shopping area, and National theatre. Easy to get to metro (to bane). There are trams and buses nearby. Many cozy restaurants and cafe are also in that area.

Room stylish. Good size. Bed very comfy. Tea making facilities and small fridge in room. Breakfast fabulous. Scrambled egg and smoked salmon to pancakes and make your own waffles. Everything you need to set you up for the day. Could not fault it.

Excellent hotel! Good location for walking around Oslo. Comfortable rooms with excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Parking is located in the hotel building, and by Norwegian standards, it is not expensive. I recommend the hotel.

Good hygiene, good environment

The location was great for sightseeing in Oslo. The breakfast was delicious with hotcakes. However, I was assigned a room with a construction site view, so that wasn't that great.

The room was very good and the service was of a very high standard. As a tourist, the hotel is in a very good location. There is a bus stop a few steps away from the hotel, and the hotel is only a 3-minute walk from the National Theater National Railway/Metro Station.

I think I’m spoiled with Clarion hotel the Hub. But unfortunately they where fully booked, so try to found another hotel for a reasonable price, in the city centre. Hotel is at a distance of 4 minutes walk from the Oslo Central Station, 10 minutes from the embankment and Opera. Room is large. Swimming pool was full of kids. This hotel still charged me 2 nights’ fees in the check-in process even if they knew that I paid 2 nights’ fees in advance via a booking agent. The Hotel is built from old apartments so the rooms vary in size and design. They are clean and nice. The hotel staff was very helpful on both check in and check out. The breakfast is not the largest, but it do offer more than you need.

One of the coolest hotels I have ever been! Quiet lo ation near to the city center. The rooms are spacious , tidy and very well equipped. Bathroom is clean and well organized. The breakfast has everything you may want in terms of variery of meals and drinks! The staff are friendly and very proffesional! I definitely recomment that hotel!

Definitely a busier part of town but we enjoyed being in the middle of it. Could see and hear the water fountains in the park from window. Loved staying here and would definitely book here again. All of the girls on the desk were super sweet and the breakfast was incredible- self service with healthy options. We left one hour before breakfast and was promised a breakfast to-go, but it wasn't in the reception next morning. We were not even offered fruit. Loved my stay here! Nice rooms, nice hotel breakfast, modern feel all around, great roof terrace with a bar. They have AC, which many hotels in Oslo don't, so if you travel to Oslo during hot summer days I definitely recommend looking for hotels with AC like this one! Only downside I noticed was walls are thin (although I didn't have any issues with noise at all.)

Very nice and clean. Staff is helpful and polite. Meal times are short. The restaurant is open for about an hour and a half for each meal. You snooze you lose. The food is taken away exactly on time, so don't be late. Check-out at 10am is a bit early.

Great location as it's a very short walk to shopping centres, bus and train stations, laundromat and restaurants. Hotel service has been excellent and we even received a free room upgrade as we are staying here for our honeymoon! Definitely consider staying here again when we return.

Good hotel, very friendly staff that speak excellent english. The hotel has nice and clean rooms. Beds are big and soft and the blankets are nice and thick. The breakfast has great options and is very delicious. Well worth it's prize. The hotel isn't perfect though, the thermostat leaves some to be desired, and there is nothing to keep the bathroom from becoming a pool after you take a shower.

Located just off a central metro line, the hotel is far enough out to be reasonably priced but very easily reached. Room was cozy but served us well for the few days, very clean. We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Initially we had a rear room. This was overlooked by some residential flats and was extremely warm. Really clean. Great facilities. Nice ensuite and also provided kettle, coffee and fridge. No English Breakfast Tea but this is rarely available abroad anyway. Nice restaurant and bar downstairs. Even though Oslo is an expensive city, the restaurant was reasonably priced and really good food.

The hotel is clean and includes all necessary emenities at best price. The only thing missing is the price doesn't include unless it is booked separately at the time of booking. Breakfast costs 149 NOK per person which I think is very expensive. Really, really great. Very quiet, very large rooms. Good amenities. A restaurant on the first floor. Convenient parking. Convenient location. DVD player in the room. Not the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in, but one of the very best.

Excellent location close to tram routes, visit sites, restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel is a bit old and congested, toilet space is limited, averagely clean, but barely acceptable, especially at a reasonable rental level. The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the palace, only a 2-minute walk away. Our family of four stayed in a family room with one door and two separate rooms, each with two single beds. One of the rooms has a kitchenette. Decent hotel, can't complain about anything except that there is no affordable breakfast option. But I knew that in advance.
