A stunning location overlooking a lake with lush flowers and gardens cascading down.
Room with terrace was lovely.
BUT, receptionist spoke only Polish and was not competent regarding the use of credit cards. The bathroom was very simple and small. Access to the run was through a staircase after exiting the elevator, which is to easy with luggage.
The restaurant food middling, but service was friendly.

The hotel is ok. I don’t understand the four star rating. Rooms and bathrooms are small, equipment is very average. The spa needs to be reserved in advance so if you stay for two nights you will not be able to use it. That was my case.

My friend and I wanted to see two military and historic sites in the area, along with participating in a fun run. At first we thought the property was dated, but after walking around we quickly changed our minds. The Customer service was excellent with great dinner drinks and excellent breakfast. Also nice trails and a Beautiful lake view.

Very beautiful place, the garden behind the hotel is absolutely lovely and the building itself has a wonderful style, both inside and outside. They have a restaurant in this beautiful garden and we had a tasty dinner there. The spa is not big, but however very relaxing. I loved the big balcony, we were lucky that there weren't other guests, but usually the balcony is shared with the neighboring apartment. Unfortunately soundproofing is very poor, all the voices from the corridor and next door can be easily heard. At night there were suddenly mosquitoes and very small, tiny flies in the room that you had to eliminate before being able to sleep. In the morning the breakfast was very delicious. A lot of space for free parking .

Las habitaciones son muy amplias y bonitas y el desayuno es espectacular.
Lo que menos me ha gustado ha sido el baño que se ve un poco antiguo, pero estaba absolutamente impecable.

We have stayed in Solar Palace for 3 days 4 nights. Beautiful gardens, caring staff [Marcin was an awesome guide and help for local needs], big spread at the breakfast buffet [enough sustenance to take you through the lunch time, for sure], comfortable beds, updated rooms in the gorgeous old mansion, good swimming pool! The only reason I give 4, and not 5 stars, -- albeit hoping that the Management of the place taking this one detail into account--, our room was facing East and did not have sun-blocking curtains, which was an important lack of comfort for oversea travelers. In this Northern part of Poland, the sunrise in June is at 4:30-5:00 am. We did Ok with sleeping 'airplane' masks, but that was not enough to put my review at the full 5 stars! Sorry Marcin!

The area is very very beautiful, but the kitchen here is so so bad and is not worth the money at all. Please do yourself a favor and find another place.Even the cocktails are very poor. The staff were not in a position to help us. We had a very bad experience and paid a lot. Be aware!
