Zamek Hotel

This is probably one of the best castles I've ever seen in Poland. I like how many detailed stuff there are etc, like this is just so good! No other Castle can beat their Castle. I wish I could go here for fun. I've only been here two times but this is so good. Infinite out of infinite.

Stunning place in a friendly and quiet town with beautiful park, Gothic bridges. Zamek (Castle) hotel is like a home away from home.
Located in the centre of town, close to shops and other historical buildings.

Good but not something special... price is overrated as it is a hotel and bar price could be lower... the best was the ticket seller old guy speaking in three different languages!!! Respect!

Great place for a castle and history enthusiast, the castle and town are rich in historical landmarks, in cycling distance from many interesting locations eg Swieta Lipka. Super nice staff, amazing exploring space for kids with many Harry Potterseque items. Spend Easter here with family. Very nice breakfasts and dinners. Castle is illuminated in the night, tons of birds in park surrounding the castle. Great place for extended weekend in this peaceful part of Poland

I have been looking forward to visiting this castle for a long time. Not only did we visit, but we slept here for one night. The whole experience is worth more than 5 stars and we shall definitely return. In comparison with Nidzicy Castle, this is far better and they allow you to explore many areas of the grounds.
This is excellent for kids to learn and explore with a few attractions such as pig racing and the horror greenhouse with screaming plants.
From an archaeological point of view, this castle has plenty to analyse from the stonework to the Medieval torture apparatus.
We found that the people living and working in the town of Resel are very friendly and the staff at the castle are very welcoming. The gentleman host at the reception for hotel room bookings is extremely hospitable and explains everything clearly.
The breakfast buffet was full of choice and the food very tasty, not forgetting to mention that the soups we had the day before were also full of flavour.
If you are in this region then don't ignore this castle and the people.

Interesting place . The last witch in Europe was killed on this spot.

Great location and the whole city is superb all people know each other.The castle itself is a must on the list of visiting places.Inside there is a tower with historical artefacts.In the dungeon you will find torture machines and it's definitive from some mediaeval times :).Overall it's worth the price and you can park next to the castle and visit whole city around 1.5h with church tower 5zł worth checking ;)

Great place to stay. Good choice of beers food was ok. If on motorbike you may be able to park in courtyard,but access is up hill all on cobbles

Reszel is a very small town but definitely worth to stay overnight. The hotel in the castle is really cool . You are staying in a Teutonic Knights castle! Just rooms and the restaurant but it is ok! Rooms are clean and minimalistic (in a good sense). The restaurant has delicious food; great breakfast included in the price of the room. Interesting ( and scary!) museum. Hike to the tower of the castle and the tower of the church for the view.
