Hotel «Premier Aqua»

In a word, our stay was AWKWARD.

Stayed at the hotel for 4 days under the "Just us" couples package.

The check-in process was very cold and to the point. The front desk staff insisted on additional signatures guaranteeing payment since the stay was paid for by another party, and only mentioned in passing where to go for breakfast. No mention of how to access the pool, where to go for the sauna, etc.

We went to our room, which was setup beautifully for our arrival with paper hearts on the bed and swan towels. A very nice and pleasant touch.

We had called the previous day about massage treatments, so after breakfast at the dining room buffet, we went down to the front desk of the spa. The conversation was awkward, and after some back and forth due to language barrier we confirmed our appointments and then asked to go to the pool, which was met by more confused looks.

The staff insisted we wear robes between the changing room and the pool, and were unable to accommodate me with an adequately sized robe, so I asked them what to do. More confusion. Eventually I saw other guests (male) walking around shirtless by the pool, so I followed suit. The staff did not show us where the sauna or other amenities of the sauna were, so I was forced to wander on my own to find them.

In order to tip the staff for the service we did get, I asked the front desk if I could exchange money ($40USD for local currency) but was told they didn't have capacity to accommodate me and that I should come back. Their currency exchange machine in the lobby was inoperable, so I was forced again to go to the resort up the hill.

After our massage appointments, we asked to change the massage style for the next day's appointment and how to schedule the couple's bath treatment that came with the package. The staff were confused, potentially by a language barrier or complicated words, so I tried "Couples package, When can we schedule bath". Again, as a guest I would expect to be asked- when would you like XYZ if something is included.

The next few days we went up the hill to the larger resort, which was night and day. Much better service, poolside options for food and drink, and we were very surprised because our hotel was much more expensive by comparison.

As a visitor from abroad, I hoped for more explanation of amenities, what came with our package and how to set up the SPA appointments for our couples package. Only after our checkout and us explaining my dissatisfaction did the hotel staff perk up and become apologetic.

Not a great experience, not a horrible one. Will not be going back.

Save some money and book Mövenpick Resort and Spa Fruske Terme for a better experience.

Excelent service, excelent pool&spa. Daily spa is 3000 rsd. Highly reccomend
